Coffee bar door is awkward, it should have the ability to slid/tuck away. The mixed stand is a great idea but the execution is dreadful -- it looks rickety and when raising/lowering it is so loud and squeaky.

i can only speak for myself, but i know more people who could afford a traditional kitchen than could afford a luxury one, so i don't think the trad kitchen is going anywhere anytime soon.

Is that an induction cooktop on the peninsula?

This kitchen is beautiful, but it's beyond what most people i know -- including myself -- can afford; i don't see it replacing a traditional kitchen.

It's beautiful. Very envious of the sub-zero fridge

Why don’t they make the entire home a kitchen. Who the heck is dropping by that they need that much room. That would actually have a lonelier feel to it. Probably the exact opposite impression you’d want to give.

I've never heard anyone complain about a kitchen that's too big. We regularly have four people in the kitchen at the same time cooking and/or prepping ingredients, and would love a kitchen set up like this.

J’avais des armoires en chêne similaires à celles-ci et je les ai peinte en blanc récemment car je désirais quelque chose de plus clair!

Here marble is banned. No more importing. Why because of silica dust and its devastating health risks to workers

All of that attention to detail, and they stuck those nasty white outlets in the sides of the island and the peninsula that stick out like a sore thumb. Would it have killed them to color match the outlets - or at least use brown or black ones? Or even stainless to match the appliances.

Two sinks. LOL, very useful, different one for every other day... Too much money, too little common sense🤦‍♂

2 sinks can be very useful when you end up with a lot of dishes or prep for a big gathering/event.
Some people will not wash meat in the same sink as other items for phobic or religious reasons...
Maybe they wanted a separate sink since they have a huge household - say 6-8 people and one sink just won't cut it unless...
So many reasons it's there beyond having the money for it...just cause you can't image a use or need more it doesn't make it a bad thing for the person who asked for it...
      🤷🏾‍♂️
