Very nice video. I like that you told how many Ravens you lost to make this video. There are hours of roaming and numbers of failures until some good engagements happen. I was tempted to try a pvp double web torp Raven back in the days, when heavy stasis graplers did not exist yet, but I did not have the chance and stayed with testing Prophecy and Harbinger (which was kinda fun). Maybe sometimes in the future^^Good hunt!

yep, i thought the same thing. Or if reloaded to nova rage torps earlier, that would have broken him quicker. Hindsight 20/20.

From Fear to Trust At the end, the Eos was 7% Hull, when OH the torps the cycle time speeds up, drones cant overheat. :3 ... yet .... *cough cough* ... Anyhoo- By having a few cycles go off faster in a row it may of literally smashed through him.
How were you ripping through some of those smaller targets with torps!? I know you had a tp but does the web/scram make that big a difference?! Most other vids I've seen where there was just web/scram it took a while (if at all) for smaller targets to drop.
So, the web is a grappler, special module for battleships that slows targets by 80% within 1-4km. So its basically 2 webs in one module. I also have a missile computer with a precision script, a rigor, TP, missile tracking enhancer, crash booster and the raven's application bonus. So theres a lot of application on this fit, thats why it applies so well. One of the few ships where its tank, is the insane amount of dps it can dish out and apply very well.
Ah okay. I don't know when, if ever, I'll actually jump into pvp (I know sometimes we don't have a choice when pvp happens) but I was seeing some interesting passive shield pvp builds with Rattlesnakes? I mean I think I saw one that had like 3.1k shield recharge per sec..holy fuck. Of course that build was straight pve with some shiny mods but with a little tweaking I think it would make an awesome pvp build. What do you think? Oh and finally great vid. Sucks you lost your battleship but when it comes to losing battleships a Raven is a "cheap" one to lose..depending on the shinnies you had on it.
One final question. I see you use (or at least have) a drug (correct me if I'm wrong..I think its a drug) Crash. Can you have drugs in your hold in HS/LS without it being confiscated/fined by the cops? Just curious as to how people can fly around with drugs in their hold and not lose them/pay a lot of money to keep them.
not too many passive regen PvP RS, i believe they have an issue with cap, which then means you lose application, or resist modules go offline, hurting your tank, assuming you're being hit with neuts. But i don't use RS for PvP, so i could be wrong.
CCP changed it, so having drugs in HS/LS is no longer penalized. Good change imo, especially since they are sold in HS stations. Even before, i'd still fly around with them, the penalty wasn't much, like 75k isk. So going through a HS pipe to get to fighting grounds normally cost me like 500-1m.
I might have described the type of passive regen for a RS incorrectely. I was seeing a lot of shield recharge mods (both medium/low and rigs) and some of those numbers seemed pretty high. Not sure if that changes anything in your eyes or not but it seems to me even if you're being neuted those mods/rigs would remain largely unaffected considering they don't require cap to work. Yes some of those fits did have resist mods on them..some varied with cap boosters or shield boosters or cap batteries.
Hopefully I've explained myself better this time because I really want a passive shield recharge RS to work..lol. Hopefully I didn't basically repeat myself but I do think I've better explained myself. Ty for answering my questions btw.

ive people talk about how silly the grappler and weak the grappler is compared to webs. Fuck those people, the name makes perfect sense, you latch onto someone and sowly creep your way towards them and the closer they get the harder it is to escape. Like old pirate ships throwing grappling hooks onto another ships broadside and dragging them in for boarding!

Navy raven is the only subcap in the game that has a chance to pull of torps in pvp I think, well besides stealth bombers
golem, typhoon, scorp navy are also usable
I produce caldari navy gear and operate near the amarr minmatar warzone,
Try using faction ammo, explosive radius/velocity works out a little better for pvp
snozz2004 all those fights are faction ammo, except the eos fight, which the eos sig is big enough for rage torps to apply (as you saw, with 2900 vollies) with the application i have in my fitting choices.
i killed a ferox a couple days ago with rage torps, getting 4900 vollies. Rage torps with application mods apply perfectly to battlecruisers.

i know youre getting alot of praise in the comments... but i hate that fit...
not enough tank, and the damage application is so limited it hurts to even look at.
RHML Ravens are the best followed by Cruise Ravens. Torp ravens are honestly the worst.
The ONLY reason you were able to pull this off is because you were fighting forever bads/perma-scrubs.
I mean.. if you don't like it don't fly it, i could care less what you think of it. I also don't understand what you mean by damage application is limited. It applies to frigates and battleships. That means, it applies to pretty much everything.
You also mention ravens, this is a raven navy issue, not a regular t1 raven. RNI gets an application bonus to torps/cruise, t1 raven does not. The rest of what you said about how to fit a raven is just like.. your opinion man. Thinking that RHML are the best also means you don't solo much (unless you count killing pods), if at all. Once you hit reload, you're dead. And good luck breaking tanks (solo) before you hit reload (like that legion i killed, i can guarantee you couldn't have broken him with RHML). There is no "right" way to fit a ship. But please show me all the videos of your solo raven fights against elite opponents. All i see is some carrier fights with a gang/fleet.
I don't think he did so bad. He did do a few kills. As far as scrubs go, if you do not know the people involved, why throw out scrubs?
