Which state you are from? From the reviews which I felt genuine and checked thoroughly it isn't good. For academics,it's average. For campus life,it can be disappointing. Can be tough to survive due to politics and shite. The placements are really weak for core branch,CSE/IT companies don't visit much. And even if they did.. the package ain't really satisfactory compared to Tier 2 colleges. The students has to do all the heavy-lifting for the placements at off-campus and college takes the credits and advertise it all loud which is a red flag to me.
Rather asking him,why don't you ask the recent passout batch of ITER on college reviews websites,they know more about the college 🤷
You will have some clarity and prioritise your needs for your college
