Found this on YT of the Doors playing Riders live 1970 czcams.com/video/WprnTN0rQMw/video.html. Lots of people get caught up with playing note for note from the studio version but I've notice whenever Ray played solo for many of their songs live he improvised. The lesson I take from that is don't get too caught up on perfection and go with the flow ;)

Sounds great and well played! Which Nord Rhodes samples did you use?

I used the Stockholm EP xLarge file with some EQ and pan and reverb, also a bit of drive/comp. Left hand is a sample of a piano bass, setup so the right hand has sustain pedal and left has none. The Stockholm EP is a vast improvement on Nord EPs.

that sounds really nice. Is this Nord 6D the best keyboard to play The Doors?

Hi, I like the Nord as you can add new sounds and samples and they are a quality instrument with good features. There are good .vst (computer) programs that get good sounds these days with a good midi keyboard. Cheers.

Thanks a lot for the answer. I see a lot of Nord keyboards with serious professionals on stage. They sound great. You play really good. Keep up and all the best wishes from Germany.
