      @@realmorgan3075 I saw a vid where Andy explained the flight construction is top secret and Powell won’t outsource the construction. So they are all hand made in house at Skate One? The combo of not many being made and everyone wants one seems to be the issue?!! Perhaps they should release a standard 7 ply version ??

    I have not skated since around 2007, I remember the day the original park opened around 2005, it was awful but still usable, it was an example of a typical council skate park built for skaters by none skaters. I am glad they have finally upgraded it to something that looks decent. I get the feeling it's time to dust of the old wheels and get back out there.

I finally got off my lazy ass and bought a monthly membership. My wife and I both love your videos. I am 46 and started skating again last October of 2020 after seventeen years. Skated from '85-'03. I built a mini half 4ft high x 16ft on the Northside and 4ft high for 8ft , and a 1ft-2* extension for the remaining 8ft. I have 4ft platforms on both sides. I used 2* PVC for the coping. Backyard dream ramp. I love your show Mang!!! Many cheers and whoops from an Austin Born Native Texan!!!!

    @ElderSkates Před 3 lety +1

    Can't believe you chose to 50/50 stall drop-in instead of just dropping in! Nice job! And you might hate these ideas, but for pool coping I have a friend that rolls up a towel to level the board out. Then he slowly unrolls it each drop in until he's on the concrete. And I just ride with an old school tail block, which works wonders for pool coping drop-ins. Both are good options.
    Love the channel. Always watch, never comment, but great stuff man!

    Nice! A couple of weeks ago went first time to the new skate park in Amsterdam. They have two pools, the smaller one is similar to your video, the deeper one I didn't dare. Indeed very challenging the steep walls, but finally managed to touch the tiles in the deep end. However I was not able to maintain/create speed in the shallow end. Will need to practice a lot more to get the feeling for skating those pools. But is a lot of fun, they should place tiles in all bowls :)

You're pushing yourself to new levels so accidents will happen but you look like you've got the drive to get through.
