I highly recommend. I bought one. and the second day I use it, it heats up and is of excellent quality.
If used at the lowest temperature level, it can be used for two days.
That's great to know! Thanks for sharing. Glad you like the product as well.
So you're pretty much only able to use it 1 day then you have to recharge it?
This is a game changer for people who are on the road for work, delivery drivers, Cops, construction workers. I feel like those guys had to go out to eat every day for work. But with this they can have home cooked food whenever.
I just got into the electric trade, I was looking for something like this for that reason. I'm not spending a lot of money eating out everyday, and I damn sure am not eating sandwiches everyday.
Go out to eat?? Its been cold sandwhiches for 10 years now!! I need one of these
I'm a delivery driver and get tired of eating out. I'm Delivering for 11 hours a day so my lunch box only stays cold for so long. I hate when I have to eat a luke warm sandwich🤢
Im a mobile machine tech. I can say that this will easy pay for itself in no time. Paying for fast food everyday is absolutely ridiculous. Cant wait to buy my own unit.
I work the nite shift 6pm to 6am and follow My MACROS and meal prep daily..I just ordered my LunchEaze MealPrep! Super excited to get this product!! 🙌 thank you for this THOROUGH REVIEW 🙏 😁😁😁
No problem. Glad you enjoyed it!
I LOVE THIS I just warmed up Mac and cheese with a Pork filet wrapped in pork with garlic butter MMMMMM I use this every night I work the meals are just perfect not to much for work.
Fantastic! I am happy you are enjoying the product. Deffinately a great one. We are going to be making some more videos on it soon:)
No updated videos on this? I just came across this bc I wanted to buy it for hubby and I was looking for more in depth detail of quality, heat temp- battery life- frozen foods. Like everything you kind of spoke about. What happen? I more bike rides for a quality lunch date?
Charge port should have been either micro USB or USB c preferably USB c as it would allow for a higher wattage charging... Also would make it so the person doesn't have to carry around another charge adapter with them all day!
Possiblitiy, but I am sure they have a reason for it that we are not directly aware of. Whether that be charging speed or amount of wattage charging. I do understand the struggle of the cable, but it's battery powered so usuallyijust leave the charger at home and I can easily make it through the day cooking lunch or dinner.
@@Jimmy2Tech well USBC supports 100 watt charging so.... I think it was more or less a cost factor... Not that their price point of this item reflects that! 😂
It's probably bc they designed it to be able to remain on the charger even when fully charged and or in operation.
@@Jimmy2Tech can you leave it on using battery power and say 4 hours later eat so set time to heat or turn on at 2 and be ready at 4 just using the battery
I’m looking for something like a thermos that keeps stuff hot u til we are ready for our Girl Scouts cookie booths. My daughter sells for hours, some days it’s 12 hours. And sitting in the bitter cold is hard enough. We get tired of soup everyday. It’s real filling, and makes us have to potty more lol.
Sorry for the late reply. For that application we would suggest a hot logic possibly is you have access to 12volt or an outlet.
Thank you! Very detailed and nifty.
Thanks! These products are really cool. We can't wait to make another video with some testing to really put them to the test. We have used them dozens of time already and all has been good. 👍
I would want this for my kids for school. Is it good for just keeping cooked food hot just in time for lunch?
This has a battery life of around 2 to 2.5 hours so if you set the timer a couple hours before lunch it would turn on and heat your food by lunch time.
tina is only watching this for jimmy junior
Very useful. Thank you!
Great review thanks for going in depth. Just sold one 😂
Sold one??
these are super cool! but isn't part of the point of a lunchbox to keep your food cool until you are ready to eat it? is there a way to stick an ice pack or something in there and keep your refrigerated foods safe until you are ready to eat them? or can you only use shelf stable foods? id like to get one to meal prep. but fresh meats/veggies may not be good 8 hours later..
i suppose i could freeze it and hope for the best, but is the condensation on the outside of the metal containers going to be an issue getting on the heating element etc? stuff id like to see covered in a half hour review.
90% of what is put in a luchbox is refrigerated. i see alot of people getting food poisoning with these if there is no way to keep it cool.
This is more designed for meal prep you put the container in the fridge until you are ready to put it into the lunch ease. I suppose you could add a ice pack around the container before you use it.
Are there any other videos these guys have done on this product? I’m trying to find reviews but I really only find the faked ones from the luncheaze official channels. I just want to make sure if I spend that much money then it will hold up and be a able to heat up food evenly even if the try if filled to the top.
I wonder if you could boil hot dogs in this, or pour egg whites, shredded cheese and bacon bits in it to make an omlette in it.
Well it says it goes to 220 degrees so you can boil water so I can see the hotdogs being a possibility. Haven't tested boiling though, we'll write it down and include it in another video. I do believe you could do eggs, but it may come out more like a egg baked casserole. More testing to do, that is for sure.
It looks nice. Does it really take two hours to heat? Could it be less, maybe 30-45 minutes before lunch?
It's going to depend if your food came from a fridge, or if it was frozen. If it's something thay was cooked and you're just trying to heat I up and not have it steaming hot, you can probably get away with 45 to an hour. But many of the times could be adjust depending on what temp you set the heatplate to. :)
@@Jimmy2Tech good to know. Thanks guys.
Good review y’all
Thanks Texan! This is a pretty awesome product and I have been using it for the past week now regularly for work.
Im trying to find this lunchbox through your link but it’s not showing up,,,,,
I double checked the link and it is correct. When you cluck the link just select the original and it will let you choose colors and such.
😂 would you stop interrupting JR!!!! SHEESH!
Seem like a nifty item. This item seems handy and interesting. Good review of the item.
Thank you for the comment. It's pretty cool item for sure!
Any word on the frozen foods? I was also curious if I pull something out of the fridge at 5am and don't eat until noon does it keep it cold until it heats so it doesn't spoil at room temp?
It's in a insulated bag but I'm not quite sure if it will hold well until 12 without cooking. But it's something we can test for you here in awhile and add it to our video idea list.
This is a silly question I am sure.. But I notice this has a temp of up to 220 degrees... Could you technically use this to cook chicken being its recommended to cook to 125 degrees? It would take some time I am sure.. but being the box heats to 220.. eventually the WHOLE breast could heat to 165... right? Not that it would be very practical this is just the way my brain works and I want to know.. LOL
I would not recommend cooking raw chicken breast. We have had luck with cubes or strips of chicken though.
Is that Jai Haze’s swimming pool?!
can you leave this in the bag while it heats up?
Yup! It is suppose to stay in the bag while heating. The bag helps insulate and allows the lunchEAZE to heat up and keep its temperature more effectively.
If you put plastic food wrap before you seal the top would that be a good idea to keep the liquid that is sloshing around the lunch box from getting messy when you open it?
With the testing we did the lids are water tight so you don't have to worry about it spilling out. Just when you're ready to eat, slowly take off the lid incase there is some of the food that got on there. Then you should be good to go. I believe using plastic food wrap would just be unnecessary.
Can I use it 2 times in a day on a full charge?
How long does it take to heat cold not frozen meal?
I wonder how long they last
Thank you
Is the app available for iPhone users?
Just took a look and it is available for the iPhone and can be found on the app store. :)
@@Jimmy2Tech thanks for the quick reply I’m interested and need something like this for when I’m out cutting my accounts time to quit wasting money on junk
I'm curious does this heat up ur food if it was in the refrigerator thats what I wana know if it's would heat up ur food if u left it in the fridge.
Are you asking if you left the luncheaze in the fridge, if you could have it auto start and it still cook your meal? We can test in our next video but I do not see why not. The device would be already on so no risk of thermal shock, and the heating tray gets up to 220 f so it should be able to easily heat up your food in the fridge or a colder environment.
@@Jimmy2Tech I’d definitely like to see a video on that if you could do one
@@jmonter0 We will write down the idea and add it to the lineup. Thansk for the feedback.
Does the outside of the container get hot while it is heating up. If so how hot. Thinking of having it in a backpack while heating. Just curious about different scenarios like that or having it the seat in your vehicle while heating up
The Luncheaze doesn't have much heat transfer unless you take it out of the bag it comes in. In that case the unit would be a little warm, but when it's in its bag it stays pretty cool to the touch. What's nice is that the heating tray is mid level of the device so the bottom doesn't get hot since that is where the battery is located. So with that and it being in its bag we were impressed by the entire units temp. We will be releasing another luncheaze video and will bring that up and use a temperature gun to find out. So to answer your question, this product is fine for a bag or to rest on a car seat while cooking. Thanks for the comment.
How is the battery life?
If you have it plugged in to the wall charger can it still heat up your food at the same time?
Yes it can!
Ok since I’ve asked on all the other reviews with no answer. How does this keep food COLD? No one goes to work then eats lunch a few hours into their shift sooo how is this keeping food at a safe temperature BEFORE it starts heating it?! My boyfriend goes to work at 5-6am and doesn’t eat until around 1pm. How is the food going to be safe to eat while it is sitting at room temperature…I don’t understand and it doesn’t look like you can put ice in that same area sooo ? This just seems dangerous especially for things like rice that can start building up dangerous toxins when left at room temperature for a few hours. I was going to buy it but it doesn’t seem logical if you can’t safely keep food in it.
the device can heat up food up too 220 degrees even in its lowest setting 170 degrees bacteria will die. Understand the food that the container is being stored in is raising in temperature as a whole, the environment in which the food is stored in is reaching 170 degrees or higher, bacteria is dying. The food is safe to eat at that point.
As long you store the food correctly prior you should be fine. Think of it as a microwave
@@rgmylife664 my worry is that they show things like rice in there. My boyfriend eats a lot of meals with rice. I’m not really worried about regular bacteria, but certain kinds can form toxic spores especially rice and pasta …spores need an extremely high temperature to be eliminated and are very heat resistant even at that temperature. When I read the manual on their website it says to not put perishable food in the lunch box😒 so it just seems kinda silly especially with the price. My boyfriend works outside and usually puts his lunchbox in a huge cooler of ice to keep it cold so I don’t think this will work …maybe it’s just the lab tech/microbiology in me but it seems risky lol
How long we need to charge it? And how long it battery last ?
Charge is 4 to 6 hours I'd say. As for the battery lasting. Depends on what you're cooking, how long, and at what temperature. We can usually use it 2-3 times before charging.
So I’m watching this a year after this was posted…. I would like to know their input now 12 months later.
Just used one the other day and still working as good as the day we made the video. :)
This is great but i wish it was USB C powered.
You think this will be allowed in the plane ? What can you recommend for an imternationla flight to keep the food warm?
I am not sure if they will allow it on a plane. It has a Lithium battery and I know that they have different rules for everything. But if they allow laptops with Lithium batteries and cell phones I don't see why they would have an issue with this.
The plug for wall is it just a regular plug or is usb and wall plug? Could I charge it with a battery pack?
it is a wall plug with the round end. Not really a way to charge with a battery pack unless you were able to get the same kind of end on there.
How is the battery doing, still going strong?
Battery still working great. We use the device at least once per week, sometimes more. We do take all the precautions though when it comes to prolonging a battery. Letting it get low before charging and so forth, instead of continously topping it off.
HI. DOES THIS RETAIN THE TIME YOU SET IT OR DO YOU HAVE TO SET THE TIME AND TEMP EACH DAY
How loud would you say when cooking or is there no sound at all?
No sound
according to my instructions, the battery will only last up to 3 hours. Does this mean, you must turn on the box 2 hoirs prior to your desire eating time?
You can set the timer to auto turn it on and have it ready when you want to eat. You do only get about 3 hours of time from the battery.
From what I see, it takes a long time to heat up, like two hours?, and the battery only lasts 3 hours.
Does this always heat up for 2 hours? You can't lessen the time it takes to heat it up?
It is defaulted to 2 hours to ensure foods are completely heated through. Cant lesson the time.
How many uses on one charge ?
Depends how long you cook the food so I can't give you a full for certain answer. But I know we can go 2 to 3 times on a charge.
Can you give the measurements and weight please.
It weights 4lbs 4.7oz and it measures 9in x 5.5in x 8.5in
This is water tight, so I was wondering what happens when water boils or steam in there? Does the lid gets damage?
Haven't tested boiling water yet. We will add it to the list of our next LunchEAZE video! Thanks for the idea.
Watched a pair of videos that inform they broke down after just a few months of use
Can't speak to that, but ours is still working great.
Happened to me, if won’t turn or do anything unless it’s plug in for power. Doesn’t hold any charge whatsoever
Anymore videos with this?
None at the moment. Is there a type or topic about these you are looking for? We are more than happy to take viewer video suggestions.
@@Jimmy2Tech nothing really I just wanted to see what else it would work with like frozen foods ya know stuff like that
@@vga2922 alright, well we can probably throw a video together for yah. We will add it to the list! Thanks for the feedback.
@@Jimmy2Tech and thank you for such a quick response!
can you charge with power bank? thanks
You sure can if it is big enough. We have also used a 500 wat power station. You can get many charges.
I want to take it to work but idk if to leave it in the car or take it out... I'm afraid as it cooks itll make the place smell like food, but I'm afraid Aswell if I leave it in car itll idk blow up or something 💀
Leave in car and up your insurance probably ;)
Would 4 handmade burritos fit in the container?
I would say yea, depending on the burrito size.
@@Jimmy2Tech its a gift in mind for my pops but need to make sure handmade burritos fit 😂
Y’all should have a script
How 2 order
Just head to their website and you'll be good to order :)
All I came here for is if it was gonna explode when I heat it up lol
Ahh, not this time. Maybe the next video ;)
Video is too far can’t see nothing
Can you cook a 13 lb turkey on one charge?
Hello Punisher,
This one had me rolling, You might get a couple turkey legs in there but that's it, and they would have to be cooked already as this wont last long enough to cook a turkey leg raw. Thanks for watching.
I'm not a fan of BlueTooth I think I wasted my money. you get about 25 feet away and the signal is lost. the blue tooth ability is cool but nothing to call home to mom about
I guess it really depends on your situation. Most of the time when I have the device bear me my phone is in proximity but I do understand needing more range. I use the Bluetooth but I deffinately just manually set it up more often. Usually set it when I am placing food in the container.
@@Jimmy2Tech IM a Trucker who delivers so I'm away from it a lot so I guess it un syncs when away from it to long
Or just buy a cheap microwave. I’ve never been in a site that didn’t have electricity.
Good for you. I work on the railroad and many of our engines do not have outlets.
Soft hands can’t open the pull tab can…this thingll never see a site. 😂
You can keep it for 200$
Ebikes....
u guys talk to much and less item review.this is more like a vlog.the guy with the 🧢…i cant hear wat ur saying
The bigger guy is hard to understand. Speak louder
Thanks for the feedback. We have mics but for some reason after recording we found out his was having problems here and there. We are looking to get some better ones in the near future :)
Hope the other videos are as long and pointless to the subject
