In this vlog series, I am going to make short videos about every feature of the BMW 3 Series 320d. In this vlog, I am talking about servicing cost of vehicle for the first year.

Pretty much lesser than I thought , my 2019 X5 Xdrive 30d SportX plus costs 45-65 k per service well but , when it’s your 4th service on 48k of running it will cost you 1.20 -1.35 lacs 👍🏻💸

The costs go up when brake pads need replacement. Then egr cleaning and MAF sensor cleaning, but those would come up only after 50k Kms.

Never buy service plan but negotiations for service. If running is less why pay for AC & Air Filter every service. 13000 is their oil service for Engine oil & oil Filter replacement. This is very very Economical for Luxury Cars.

Hi @selvaraj, Consider two things. First, do you need big space in the rear and will be having a chauffeur driving the car? And have that much budget? absolutely go for it. Both the cars have almost the same features. Second, if you want sheer driving pleasure and wanna drive by yourself, running(KM) is not much per month, then go for the normal petrol M version of the car(Otherwise choose 320d). Please don't go with X1 or 2 series, I don't think they have rear-wheel drive.

Depends on the cars condition, if well maintained and serviced car is there then it wont be any issue

Sir ji, Don't you think it's not worth taking that servicing package you mentioned, as the (avg.) maintenance cost is around 20k but you are paying 40k for 3 years?
As it is first servicing, I feel that 120k is total waste of money.

This is a sports luxury sedan. An awesome driving machine. Fortuner is just a corolla in the SUV form.

Tell me something about repairs. How often do you have to visit the repair shop and how much does it cost each visit?
@@Iamlegend91 fortunately the only repair I had was a rat bite which costed 10k to fix. Rest it has been been just general service. But unfortunately i have spent in lakhs on repairs maintaining my 2013 volvo v40.

Go for the other service centres. You'll get around 10k cost.
I replAced front brake pads on my 2017 f30 (320d) its costs 52k rupees in service centre ..i import the original brake pad from germany and i replaced in an outdoor mechanical shop it only costs 22k

@@maniii_e the cost of a pre-owned bmw is very low ..but service cost never !!.. so never choose a pre owned luxury car without proper finacial stability to take care the car....
Its a luxurios car so the parts are very costly so we have to protect them with a higher measures thats why we goto authorised service centres ..
.you always ensure your car have original parts and spares otherwise you sucks in your journey
If you confident in an outside workshop doubtlessly u can go ..but before that you should ensure the quality of spares ..if you intrested use my german importing technique..its saves your money and protect your car

More is merrier, new cars generally dont give much for first 1 - 2 year, but you can keep 2 lacs aside every year

Fortuner Vs BMW2, Always go with BMW. But also check Skoda's Kodiaq over Fortuner, it's a solid and robust than Fortuner.

I’ve had BMW for 9 years. The cost of service is 20-25k for basic service (all filters + oil). But the main cost is broken parts.
If you drive in a city with potholes the run-flat tyres put a lot of load on the suspension. Suspension replacement is 60-80k for 2 suspension. The turbo charger is 4 lac. Tyre is for 20k, each. Yearly insurance is for 50-60k (including hydrolock)
In all expect to spend 1- 1.5 lac per year on the car every year till you sell it.
Also, get the sunroof drain hole cleaned every year. It’s a must!!

Is it advisable to buy top up warranty and service packages if running will be under 12k kms annually?
Thank you for the information. How much more expensive would it be for the 5 and 7 series? And did you get all the work done from the BMW service centre or did you get it done from a third party Repair shop?
@@Iamlegend91 in the beginning I went to BMW. Service is great, but they overcharge. You have to discover and find a third part who will keep your car feeling like a luxury. The moment anyone hears BMW, the want to swindle you.
7 years into my ownership I found a good garage. Have sold my diesel car now since it’s older then 10 years and delhi rules are strict.
I recommend OEM service only for an insurance job because of cost.

Well, the new owner would be paying more for maintenance than you did right, considering that luxury cars start having multiple issues after about 8-10 years?
@@Iamlegend91 well, I hope not. I kept the car in peak condition till the very end. I would have used the car for another 10 years if delhi laws would allow. Every door-window, every button, all the parts of the car were in perfect working condition. The suspension was replaced 1 year back and tyres were 2 month old. My car was my temple and I drove it the way BMW intended it.
You paid 120000/3 plus 19k for this service .
If you paid 120k for 3 years you don't have to pay for the service. There may be parts that need to be replaced and that will cost more if not covered under the warranty.

I will keep working for 2 more years and invest and progress and then at 25 I will get a good car. So you can too, just work hard and focus, take the right opportunities and keep moving upwards. Freelance and work extra initially in your career and don't stress about working hard. Also, I am a 2019 May graduate from a regular college so you can do it too. 🥂🥂

Yes. You can purchase a BMW within 5 years if you pass out of IIT. (Average annual salary of an IITan is around 40-50 lakhs per annum). No one cares for engineers who have paid to enter an Engineering College. Any Tom, Dick and Harry can enter those colleges by paying.
I have 2014 top model dzire they charge 18000rs per 10k. Kilometer done 1 lakh

Runs an avg of 7000-8000kms per year. Oil change once a year
For motul oil, and filter and labour includes only less than 2000rs.
In kerala
Wheel alignment once in 5000kms
Costs around 350
And wheel rotation and balancing in 10kms costs below 600.
Ac filter 350 rs, and ac gas refilling
Total an average of 3500-4000rs maintainence per year

Yes, it is...! But it is far better than equivalent Merc(Merc is not a bad car, but when it comes to drivers car, I found 320d is more fun to drive around)

My BMW 330i M-Sport which costs Rs. 57 lakhs has an Insurance Premium of Rs. 240,000/- per year from Bajaj Allianz. Road Tax for 5 years in West Bengal is Rs. 331,000/-.

Mine is in Pune, so far so good. But yeah, maintanance is on higer side, but I guess when put your foot on accelarator with Sports mode on, thats worth every penny spent.
