1:08:45 bit of trivia about Hjalmar: him and Ciri are childhood friends, and were even briefly engaged, before their parents found out and broke them up. When Nilfgaard invaded Cintra, 15yo Hjalmar rushed with a rescue party, though when he arrived, Cintra already fell.
Me personally I never could stand wearing the witch hunter gear. Just the thought of me wearing the same gear as people who kill people like Keira triss and yen just feels wrong. Not to mention how stupid that collar looks! Enjoying the playthrough so far, no surprise there lol.
Sad episode but still really enjoyed it.
You should try and enable reflections if it doesn’t give you too much of a performance drop and fog distant colour lurp which allows for fog to change colour in the world around you e.g. when the sun is setting the fog toward the sun will go orange.
Witcher gear is cool since you can dye them in the DLC

About witcher gear: one pro tip you really schould take bear school for best defence and queen sign power because soon you can have opportiunity to use heavy bear armor and ... superfast stamina regeneration like light armor -but one condition you must save big amount money after finishing wild hunt like 10000 or best option cost 30000 so if you wanna earn some you allways can do quest marks on skellige on water (go to the buat and use crossbow and diving for boxes) .Dont remember take sword and dumplings quest with supreme reward also take reward from Yoana from Crow's Perch .
Witcher 2 is seriously worth playing. It takes a little getting used to after playing 3 but it's awesome. You actually have to play acts 2 and 3 twice to get the full story because there's a choice that entirely changes how it goes after Act 1. It's also a bit more linear with less sidequests so it doesn't take that much time to get through.

An emotional, saddening and heartwarming episode. Love this part of the game its so enjoyable and emotional... As someone who has played this game for several times, I remember doing the same choices as you’ve made here, so I understant your decisions, but the first dialogue option at 57:35 is just so much better in my humble opinion...
Anyway, Im loving this journey and Im excited and eager for more =)

I'm only 20 min in, lol, but you brought up the father daughter relationship. I would love to see you react to and play TLOU, but you said you've already played it back in the day. Just wanted to ask, have you played the 2cd one also? Be awesome if you haven't, but I suspect you already have.
Another game that would be interesting, I think, if you haven't played it yet is Detroit: Become Human. It's not terribly long and has a great story, action and multiple pathways with different endings. Thanks in advance Ace!

Yeah, cool playthru man, the cinematic KM battle tension, action and the sad out come was awesome first time playing it...only thing which sucked for me after, was how the devs didn't gave the islanders a proper little death scene, because their demise was scripted. If I could, I would've added that to the game, allong with another Hjalmar line adressing their skellige warrior's death, also a scene for Roche and Ves holding the line with Leto, to mend past things a bit, as a hidden reward, only avalible for players who got the full crew🤷♂️

It's a shame you were spoiled by being told how important these choices are going to be for the ending of the game. Would have been nice to have seen your genuine choices rather than you trying to get a good ending.
