I just listened to this then listened to the original. Instrumental wise, these guys practically nailed it. But songs are more than just playing the instruments and singing the lyrics. Especially songs that try to deliver a message. No soul in this cover. Meanwhile, listening to the original I could feel every emotion behind the song. And that made all the difference.

If I close my eyes and listen well, this is actually a good cover. But then, the appearance and attitude of the vocalist doesn’t match the emotion and texture of the song. And those two do matter. Anyways, the vocalist has a really nice voice quality. The band, generally, is impressive.

Sorry. Ayoko magjudge kasi hindi ko na achieve yung magkaroon ng sariling band and be a vocalist and perform in these kinds of platforms pero I'm gonna go back on my word. I have ears and eyes naman that can see and hear what's not pleasing or good. This one isn't doing justice to this song. Also, di pa nga sila sikat pero itong vox (don't know if it's just me or what) seemed to be feeling herself too much. Sometimes, going overboard or being o.a ruins the perfomance. Korni. Another thing, the way she (sang/rap/or what not) medyo pilit. Ano ba to? Naka droga ba to? Or may hallucination lang? I know you have to give a certain attitude to a certain song pero this one doesn't match.
The band still needs to learn more, be more matured, and be more relatable or charismatic (music and attitude wise).
If I were to compare this band to Philia (although Arci isn't that great but she's much more likable stagewise and her singing minsan shakey and off tune pero hindi naman sya O.A).
Mas kaya kong tiisin makinig sa Philia kesa dito. Sorry talaga kung maoffend ko ang mga fans nila or sila mismo.
I also read the other comments, I hope the band learns from this experience and use this to improve themselves if they really wanna pursue this dream that they have.
90's kid ako at mulat ako sa dami ng mga banda domestically and internationally na rock, grunge, psychedlic, rap metal, alternative, etc. Etc., i believe ganun din yung ibang nasa comment section kaya di namin maappreciate itong performance because there were thjngs that are lacking.
Hope they learn from this to grow and be a better version of themselves.
