Just watched her on the Amazon's original Upload. I had no idea she performed with Prince and was a musician because she's also a phenomenal actress. She's is extremely beautiful!
She's definitely amazing. Knew of her as an musician first, so it's cool seeing her acting.

I don't understand why Prince backed her. She was lousy on stage with him. Her guitar was little more than a prop and her vocals can get quite out of tune .

Ok, so it took Amazon to re-introduce this Multi-Talented Phenom. I Binge watched UPLOAD, and now reconnecting with Andy on the Music scene. True Talent! She even gave Maceo some on this Funky performance.
I love how people are finding out she's a musician. There's a YT vid where she does a cover of Marvin Gaye and her redition just melts your heart.
I saw Andy Allo live @ The Hamilton in Washington, D.C. on 5/18/17 and she NAILED this song! Not sure what was up with her voice or the audio on Jimmy Kimmel Live (based on the video and on other people's comments) but I can assure you that in person she was an amazing and very confident performer! She didn't need a huge band to carry her and her voice was simply amazing. I was sitting in the front row and her talent was obvious. She worked the audience in a really neat way and her songs were really cool. She met every person afterwards and posed for photos and selfies, signing everything herself and even swiping credit cards herself. It's nice to see a real artist hustling like this, but in a positive way. And she sung backup for Morgan James as well. Keep it up Andy!!! :-)
She was having too much fun! That's what I love about artists like her! They're so loose and confident! Andy is a show stopper. Her latest music and music after this album proves that she is truly coming into her own and can hold her own!
And the seeds of Prince, germinate.

band is prince's band. he did this for her. her voice is better suited to folk songs which is what prince got her back to a couple of years later. listen to 'stare' it's an album prince put out as a promo last year featuring gorgeous acoustic songs with prince playing acoustic guitar. she can actually sing.
I love the Oui Can Luv album that Prince streamed on Tidal in November 2015. The Estate should give it an official release.

@@tesswonderful4194 Watch some of the many Prince concerts she's in. Watch when they play "Live 2 get Funky". Prince always said "Andy Allo wants to be a star" before she played her solo so badly that Prince had to join in every time.
@@onesong2001 I have seen her in so many other venues, PLUS she was doing mini concerts on Facebook every Monday, she is on his song Time and it is fire, she has recorded her own music. They recorded lots of music together. As well, she is a writer. Ok, she might not have been perfect there, but she IS talented. Here is the thing, in my opinion, she has a soft voice that isn't suited for big venues like Prince concerts. That is a different beast. That's for her boss to figure that out - Prince.

Somehow a Betty Davis binge led me to Andy Allo.....the difference between Betty’s pure funk femininity and this watered down sanitised ok for tv version is startling. I’ll take Betty any day....bring back the funk!

Just found this girl after researching the 'Sydney' performer from the commercial.
Good performer, sweet disposition and easily among the most beautiful creatures ever to walk the earth IMO. But as much as I wanted to be blown away by her vocals- I wasn't. Love her rasp on the lower register and falsetto at the top, but there seems to be big gaps in her over all vocal maturity and execution ability. She faded out sheepishly at the end of every verse- maybe a confidence issue?
I'm a new fan hoping she can get her voice to the next level.

Betty Davis she is not...but that band! I had the phenomenal good fortune of having Gil Askey as the musical director at my church in Seaford, Australia, his wife Helen was my best friend. Such a humble man...you’d have never known, unless you knew, who he really was or what he had done, just a kind and extremely generous with his time and talent man.
