POP-UP at 90° - POP-UP at 180° - at will!

Today I’d like to share a trick that I haven’t seen anywhere yet, to change how the pop-up opens and displays, 90° or 180° at will.
A small cut tab at the back, that grabs the supporting tab, adequately scored, is all is needed to transform a traditional 90-degree ‘origami architecture’-style pop-up into a wider spread that opens at 180 degrees.
I’ve been preparing several small items for the upcoming book fairs this Fall. The design in the video is actually an early idea for my Tour des Horreurs / Tower of Horrors pop-up book: I was sorting out files and dummies for a solo exhibition in December and this came out; I thought it was cute and I was trying things out when I thought of this 90/180 trick, as I was thinking that, inconveniently, 180-degree pops need a larger space to be displayed - not anymore ; )
