Ella’s antimicrobial resistance story (AMR)

Born with cystic fibrosis, Ella has been hospitalized with infections ever since she was little and says she “will continue to advocate until antimicrobial resistance is no longer the greatest threat to my life”.
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) occurs when bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites no longer respond to antimicrobial medicines, like antibiotics.
The World Health Organization’s ‘AMR is invisible, I am not’ campaign puts advocates-like Ella from the WHO Task Force of AMR survivors -front and centre, to share their stories, raise awareness and urge action to address AMR.

I have never taken an antibiotic or needed to, but I've been prescribed them more times than I can count.
Doctors, please quit handing these drugs out like candy .. even Fleming knew a few years after their discovery that they needed to be used judiciously and wisely. 😢

Unrational use of Antibiotics is the direct cause of AMR, healthcare providers need to stick to the guidelines and protocols to prevent bacterial resistance. Antibiotics Stewardship programs need to be implemented in accordance with the local guidelines.
Let's work together to prevent the pandemic of the AMR.

Так вы же и составляете такие протоколы для врачей,чтобы они прописывали пациентам пить годами антибиотики.Вы кого вините в этом явлении? Вы и только вы ВОЗ виноваты в создании дополнительных проблем со здоровьем нации.Что вы хотите сказать этим видео?Где бы люди взяли антибиотики,если бы их не выписывали ваши врачи? В свободной продаже нет антибиотиков.
Задолбали вы уже всех своим существованием.Себя ,идите куда-нибудь подальше, и лечите,социопаты.
