Very, very cute! I was telling my husband just this evening that before smart phones, there was the anticipation and fun of getting film developed to see how pictures turned out. No candy this year for Halloween for us either.
These are adorable! I would price them at $25 each. If people think it’s high or ask if you will go lower you can always drop the price. But for a handmade holiday photo album/memory book, I think that is a fair price. My grandpa was an auctioneer. He used to tell a joke about a man selling trinkets at the side of the road. A lady looked at his items and there were two identical statues. One priced at $10 and one priced at $20. She asked, “why is this one $10 and that one $20?” The vendor replied, “some people like to pay $10 and some like to pay $20.” There’s a psychology behind pricing. Some people think there is a higher quality tied to a higher price even when given identical items. My grandpa used to say that he could start a bid for an identical item at half the price and it wouldn’t sell, but at double the starting bid, it would run up in a bidding war. Sorry for the long post, but my point is, price high to start. You can always reduce the price when someone shows interest and they will feel special when you do. 😉 But if you lowball the price from the beginning, it doesn’t matter if it is the highest quality item on the table, for some, they won’t see the quality if the price is too low.

We don't hand out candy because no body come in our neighborhood so we take our grandson out. This year some churches and businesses did a trunk or treat. We took him to that. My Christmas shopping is just about done. These are darling. Thanks for sharing.

I finished my first one on Sunday night. I used the hello autumn paper from carta Bella. It is so cute. PS; I made the same mistakes with the waterfall ribbon and I also forgot to put the ribbon closure under the cover cardstock. I also enjoyed making this. My dads assisted living only allows 2 essential caregivers (family member) I had to be tested for Covid twice now before I could go in and take ppe training. I am grateful I can go in now. Praying u can go in soon

Last year we did experiences for our grandchildren. Movie tickets, trampoline park, rock wall climbing, ice cream, bowling, fast food, all gift cards. 3 of the places went out of business this year :( and they never got to use the cards.... So thus year all experiences are coming in cash form. I am making cute “gift certificates” to give them...for example we are giving my granddaughter private cheer lessons....but we will actually give cash in a gift certificate envelope.

I decorate my house, kinda scary... skeletons & crypts and usually I had out candy, but I had to take a client to the grocery store and then she wanted to go out to eat. So no passing out candy even though I had purchased some this year... however, I always buy what I like - just in case I have to work. I was thinking of just leaving my bowl out there, but I already know we have some smart aleck kids around here that would more than likely dump the entire bowl into there trick or treat bag and leave none for no one else that may come by. I know from one of the neighborhood groups I am in on Facebook - that actually did happen and the lady was only gone for 30 seconds to go in and grab her cell phone as she was waiting for her once-a-week call from her daughter who is in the military... I thought that is so mean... yet others said that everyone was being respectful in other areas, and some kids even offered to leave candy instead of taking it so others having it available could still last until 8 pm. ... however, those were manned bowls, not unmanned bowls of candy lol... oh and restaurants... they are ... how can I say this... Most times if I order through the app, my orders are usually correct, but it is not a given - 100%... I am allergic to lettuce and prefer my fries with no salt or "easy" salt (meaning lightly salted) because I like ketchup with my fries and that has plenty of sodium in it to make up for it... But most of the time, there is lettuce on the sandwich and I have to go back and complain, and they will check your receipt to make sure that it is on the receipt. Sometimes if you just don't like it, they will also remake it. I know at Culver's if someone is behind you, they will put a post-noste with a number pre-printed on it, and tell you to pull as far up as you can, so they can serve the next person. They usually collect your payment for your order, and then hand back your card or change, along with your drinks and any desserts you may have order. Then they bring out the rest of your order. The location nearest to me has been doing that for years, even before Covid was here. But there are loads of restaurants that have employees that do not listen, they do not write or take notes clearly enough for them to read them back, or they totally give you the wrong order .... like someone may have gotten yours and so you now have someone else's order. ... I can go on and on about this... lol Been happening for years for me... not that I am used to it. I know I wouldn't be able to do those types of jobs, I have ADD and I am like - maybe they have ADD too and are unmedicated like I am... ;)

Halloween is a mostly worldwide holiday 😉. We have traveled most years and I’ve spend 2 Halloween’s in England and one in Holland. Pretty sure it started in Ireland actually. At least Jack O’ Lanterns 🎃 did for sure!! 😊 P.S. we get our neighbors packages and food ALL THE TIME! We are 58th Ave, they are Place, same house #. A comes before P so when using gps ppl seem to click us without reading! I chased a dominos guy to his car one night and even had a prosthetic leg left at my door!! 🤣
Where did you get 12 inch plain colored card stock? I only find the 8¹/² x 11. I love your crafts but it would be so beneficial if you had measurements of the paper pieces.

Sounds to me like they just didn't want to make everyone else wait and pay for the mistake they made on your order. I would have gladly pulled forward so others could get their food while they corrected my order.
