I love Kelly and I was SO into Idol and I remember voting for her over and over and over back then. I was so proud of her. My whole family didn't even care about Idol it was HER that got us excited every night to watch. She truly is a superstar.
From the moment she stepped into that AI audition Kelly has been 100% authentic and down to earth. From "Cool beans" and "ducka ducka ducka" I think she was loved as much for her personality as she was for her voice. Me being her military war hero after 1st deployment boyfriend with an extremely gym built body and being featured for Army public relations and being honored at so many functions to be Army Poster Soldier. All I did one morning in Iraq was do my job as Squad Leader after my vehicle was blown up by an IED. I won't go further into details what happened and my own actions but listen.... I've got such a HUGE crush on you Kelly... if you weren't happily married with kids i was gonna CZcams video of ME asking YOU to my very formal dress attire of US Army St. Barbara's Day Ball held once a year strictly for Army Field Artillery Regiment. I was SERIOUSLY gonna sneak in my invitation to you as my date to have the newspapers cover the story so it'd reach you about me asking you to be my date (years ago this was gonna be done) but I was too late :). Treated you as the upmost perfect lady and would've been on my best behavior and complete gentleman at all times (no funny business conducted or perceived). I think the thing that has always dawn me to Kelly Clarkson, is the fact that she's "touchable" she's real. What I mean by that is simply, so many artists, especially as they make it big, IMO, put on a fake persona of who they are. You, for lack of a better term, fall "in love" with the performance that such artist is performing, whether it be in their singing or what looks like the glam squad in their makeup or outfit, they go from 1 person to a totally different person when fame hits their boots. But Kelly, I have never seen that with her. Very easy to do it - if you ever have to do public speaking record yourself, you’ll notice how much you have certain ticks that give you breathing room to think. (Like, umm, so etc) You can’t actually see those things until someone points it out

But what has always drawn me to Kelly is that she is just that...KELLY, she doesn't try to be anyone or anything else. I think the thing that has always dawn me to Kelly Clarkson, is the fact that she's "touchable" she's real. What I mean by that is simply, so many artists, especially as they make it big, IMO, put on a fake persona of who they are. You, for lack of a better term, fall "in love" with the performance that such artist is performing, whether it be in their singing or what looks like the glam squad in their makeup or outfit, they go from 1 person to a totally different person when fame hits their boots. But Kelly, I have never seen that with her. She didn't sell out, she didn't get into drugs & booze, she hasn't let her tremendous talent swell her head, she doesn't pretend to be anything but just "Kelly". 90 pounds 190 pounds, screaming fans or screaming kids, she stays a constant, I have nothing but respect for her for that, because the music industry, it's a B*I*bad-word for sure! So for what it's worth, she'll always be MY inspiration & Idol & I'm 55 freaking yrs old haha. Keep up doing you Kelly, it's working! ♥♥♥
