- Hey y'all! In todays video I show y'all the new uniforms I am wear testing & give some of my first thoughts. Reminder to please keep all comments kind and respectful. Regarding your hair color, let me share a growing up story myself: The girl across the street from me, Shari, who was the same age, moved in the summer between third and fourth grade. At the time, she was almost a "carrot top" redhead, which was also kind of wild and free. But then, when puberty hit, her hair color began to change. By the time we were freshmen in high school together, she had THE MOST GORGEOUS red hair that can best be described as "Irish Setter red," if you can picture that shade. I do NOT mean that negatively at all, that's only to share how luscious and rich her soft red hair color was. Initially slightly embarrassed of the color after some typical high school girl drama, by the time we were seniors, she was voted "Best Hair" by the Senior Class - it was, as I said, luscious, rich, thick, and she wore it long, just below the middle of her back. Depending on what she was wearing, her bright blue eyes would take on a blue-green tinge that was really striking against her hair color. (We never dated, but we definitely loved each other. . .)
All this to say, considering how you talked about your roots, maybe Shari's hair color might be an option for you? Thinking that this darker chestnut/mahogany shade would not need touching up as often as you do now as a blonde? But you'd still be a "red head" like you've been dreaming about all these years. Great vlog as always! In SAS only the purser has stripes of the CAs. The new uniforms looks very nice and comfy. A lazy morning to get ready… Forget that for the next 20 yrs if you want to have kids. Lol! Keep up the good work. Be safe!

No! After you purchase your first round of uniforms as a new hire you will never have to purchase uniforms again. We get uniform “points” every year to get any uniform items we need.

Very nice uniforms especially the dresses I Also Love wearing a fitted dress with a long back zipper very comfortable for work I Like Dark red long hair style myself as darker hair suits me better Your blonde hair looks Nice It's a personal choice I Love the dresses

I think strawberry blonde would work for you with your green eyes. I like the navy dress because the blue dress is too bright and looks like a scrubs.

When I flew, it was a requirement to wear the smock.
Don’t change your hair! Do you mind me asking if you use anything in it while wet for styling? Like a heat protectant? I’m on the lookout for new products or suggestions. Thx 😊
I use k18, olaplaex no.3 and it's a 10 when it's wet. 😃
I think you should try a wig out first and where it for a few weeks to see how you feel so don’t have to commit to it right away or damage your hair
I feel like the colours of the different pieces are a bit different from each other, like the blues of the dress, sweater and scarf are all different shades of blue. They all look really good on you tho!

When you are a wear tester do you get to continue to wear the pieces if they decide to go with something else? Or are these the designs regardless and they just make improvements based on your opinions?
No. I think after we are finished wear testing we will go back to wearing our old uniforms until the final pieces are rolled out in Spring 2025.

All look good except the second one. Not a fan of the diagonal gray stripe. It's too wide. Maybe would look better if half that width and a nicer material. Or a brighter blue. Either way, I vote "No" on that one LOL...Make sure the United CEO gets my review ha ha.

Hope your new uniform does not prove to be as disastrous and disappointing as that of a certain airline who changed their uniform recently. They annoyingly scrapped what was a perfectly smart uniform for a horrible, drab, mannish-looking uniform. The smart skirt suits were totally ruined.
Which airline? DL? I just don’t understand why United discontinued those beautiful blue dresses with the fitted blazer. Very feminine. United had one of the best uniforms but stopped.
