  • This video is a Recreation of the events leading up to the crash of Air France 447 in the early hours of 1st June 2009 of the coast of Brazil.
The aircraft was a n A330-200 which was just 4 years old and was flown by three Flight crew members and 9 cabin crew with 216 passengers.
The aircraft flew into a storm at its cruising altitude of 35,000ft with icing conditions as well.
The air speed Instruments got blocked by ice and caused autopilot to disengage giving control back to the pilots.
They first Officer stalled the plan beyond recovery.
It was a DEEP type of STALL.
MAY THEIR SOULS REST ON PEACE
    NOTE:
In this simulation, the deep stall was difficult to recreate using RFS but a Dynamic Stall was created with same conditions and Flight inputs and resulted in a crash.
I also demonstrated how recovery is done for an aircraft in a dynamic stall.
Later there will be a video on the the differences between a DYNAMIC STALL and a DEEP STALL.
THANKS FOR WATCHING AND PLEASE SUBSCRIBE
