MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS THIS TOOK 90 WHOLE HOURS thats so so many!!! but i do think its quite nice so thats good :)
I really didnt think id get as good at painting as i did in the process of making this animation but by golly some of these backgrounds are actually pretty neat!
I apologize for the slight lack in untenable motion and wiggly eyes I usually manage to cram into these videos, although im not sure if this one is actually less whacky or if ive just grown a little desensitized to my usual wiggly style but this animation FEELS a little more stiff.
Although it being a whole 3 minutes i decided not to redo it :)
Fun fact you can tell the order in which i animated the scenes because as I kept drawing merobiba i gradually made her hair more angular instead of circular !
ive begun rambling but its 6 AM so i think thats allowed under these conditions.
As always thank you to the lovely drawfee crew for creating the funniest goofs and gabs that i can throw my silly little doodles over :) I had to stop doing the dishes when this segment originally came on because I was laughing TOO hard and it became DANGEROUS

the talk show format is perfect because the laugh track + nathan’s absolute lack of amusement + all the drawfs in suits is just so great

Fan fact that you should notice FNO: Nathan was annoyed by Julia's bit at first, but is now quoting and impressioning and meming Merobiba Every god damn live and is absolutely on with the joke, and generally just dieing of laughter everytime someone says "I'm Merobiba". The man learned to appreciate this stupidly hilarious bit and it's the best arc ever.

The lipsyncs at 0:49 and 1:07 are so satisfying to me. Don't get me wrong, the entire animation was awesome with many silky smooth moments, but I just wanted to point to these two bits and say: "I like this :)"
It’s a little more exaggerated but I’m also a big fan of 2:32, love the way her head moves when she says it
and the way Jacob merobiba's eyes entirely drip off at 1:16 is also really good :)

Not only the animation and the style are AMAZING as usual. BUT THE CONCEPTS! God, you killed it, Nathan as the host, the program, and him calling on the phone booth looking like an angry NY psychoanalyst are so creative, I live.
Nathan going into the phone booth to talk with Julia is such a good interpretation. Like, I'm pretty sure there's not a single phone booth left in my city, but the shot of him opening the door with the snow swirling around him is such good storytelling. I know everything I need to know about this version of Nathan
I love how Julia managed to conjure a bit with the same spiritual energy as the gnome picture.

I think at this point the word is actually still banned from their Twitch Chat since it kept getting spammed, so I'd say that's a solid "yeah" LOL
They had to ban ALL versions of the word to make sure chat would let it go, you can tell how much they got tired of the bit after watching the hunger games stream lol

I LOVE Every Single Frame of this but the one where merobiba slowly turns is truly Cinematic to me
The full-body expressions get me every time. This was incredible! And the backgrounds were above and beyond, like you did not have to go this HARD with the snowy phone booth, the talkshow set, the whole end image?? the result was absolutely perfect, 11 out of 10, am about to replay

Tiny detail but the way the hair moves around 0:30 is really nice to look at
Even when the character has stopped or is moving on less frames the hair just exudes so much energy

Holy shit, you just keep pushing on - this one felt like it was on a new level, which is saying something since the summoning of Primordial Goof was so goshdarn cinematic, but the amount of places you managed to take this one, while still fitting in gorgeous character animation, *chefs kiss*
I like the visual gag of someone sitting or standing, then when they start to laugh they turn into a lil guy floating in the air-- often rotating as if propelled in-place by their own laughter. It's as if laughing enough causes you to shrink in size and also become unaffected by gravity.
I love how Merobiba behaves on the talk show. She's perfect.
for some reason I absolutely lost it at the visual of Nathan having to step out into a phonebooth to make his call to Julia

I didn't really register how much Julia cackled during this bit until seeing her flop around in your animation.
Half the fun of Merobiba animations is what bits get latched onto and from the bear audience to how on the nose the bear witch is, there are some greats ones I haven't seen much of before.

The melting Merobiba eyes, the DIMENSION in Nathan's close-up mustache, THE FLUIDITY ON THE ANIMATION WHEN MEROBIBA SAYS "IM MEWOBIBA" (after the heart-wrenching speech) - I watched that part like five times. Its all so beautiful. And the internal lore of this animation that they're big wig execs???? Chef's kiss MWUAH
Nathan just, like, not being on board with the bit but being too nice to put a hard stop to it really elevated the whole thing

I just wanted to let you know that this is not just my favourite out of all Merobiba Animations, but this has also become one of my favourite Videos of 2023 in general. The completely unhinged expressions you drew throughout this animation: Julia's and Jacob's enthusiasm, Merobiba as this weird little gremlin, all the bears and Nathan trying to cope with the situation at hand before breaking down after Julia mentions their talk before the episode - almost every single frame of this animation brings me happiness and laughter. So thanks for putting in the work and animating Merobiba in all her glory, I just can't help but rewatching this every couple of weeks. :)

This is so great! The facial expressions were fantastic.
