The loss of reason is the most scary ending for me. The small trace of blood and the straight jacket the tentacles under the door. Jesus it's really spine chilling

I love how most of the endings either give a sense of dread, despair or fear and then you have the blue gem one which is basically all goofy and happy.

Good video but you missed some of the game over endings. Some mysteries have unique game over ending screens if you lose the fight. Scissor lady has one for example.

I really enjoyed this. Seeing all the ending permutations was great - the writing was an excellent nod to Junji Ito. I know it is early access & I'm sure (hope!) they will add different weird beings to run into & fight, even more bizarre spells or weapons, & a few more scenarios before it's completed. Wonderful job MBH!!
I was hoping for them adding more context to the story because it felt really short.
@@TheZombie2415 Yeah, there was no overarching story, other than you as the player choose different characters to investigate odd occurrences, all ending up with confronting a 'being' of some sort. I kind of agree & wish that there would be a bit more to read about either the being or the weird things you confront during each little part, but I think they want it to keep it mysterious & vague.

It felt like every arc has similar formula aside from the ending.
Ending A of Found Footage is the cheekiest thing. You find a giant eye inside a well? Fuck you eye, acid.
Glad I managed to drop into a stream for this! The art style is nicely pixel retro, the gameplay is varied and overall it looks really interesting, will have to catch up later. You’re always so dedicated to the games you play Manly, we all appreciate it.
The next part of Witch’s Heart is finally out! Can’t wait to see you play it!

The Oetaru boss music is the coolest ive heard in the entire game, really wish someone would upload just the song recorded for a few minutes somewhere.

So many mysteries solved, so many nightmarish gods defeated, and even a gag Dog Ending... quite a bit to do in just this build of World of Horror. Well done, Manly. I know this took a good amount of time, if only to get that blue gem working. Now I'm just left to wonder what will be added to the game.
Hopefully more "good" endings, more to the lighthouse, and fixes to the spelling and grammar errors

This was a very fun game. It was really creepy. It did a good job with the number of monsters you can encounter. Loved the dog ending.

Gotta say, as much as i like it, the good ending is a little underwhelming.
I feel like a fight against a smaller aspect of the chosen GOD or smtg like it woulda made it better. The lighthouse really feels like a letdown compared to the rest of the game. You just climb and... that's it.
Or just multiple good endings. Maybe like Fallout, have the game explain how your actions affected the endings of different characters. But it is early access, so there's still time.
To be fair, it's early access. So, who knows, maybe they will add clever ways to get actual endings.
To me it's a classic lovecraft thing - you really CAN'T fight them head on. The closest you could get is fighting a follower ala Eternal Darkness (to my knowledge that's the final boss).

Since I had gotten all the endings already in normal gameplay, I had to spreadsheet it to keep track. So it's load up the idol character because she has stupid passive combos, check what mysteries are available and run through and quiting out when I've done all new mystery endings. When all the hard boss ending mysteries were done then any character is fine and I just booted in and escaped all battles and blew through to endings using the background that let you have no allies but let you have more money. This is also a video that couldn't be done till yesterday, as Vigil was bugged and only played the worst Ending C.

My favorite is the Loss Of Stamina one. You tried so hard and before closing your eyes one last time you see the god you tried stopping rise.
oh, there's a mistranslation on the case of the morbid mermaid. for ending C , you should get the "Innsmouth curse" instead of insmasu. (they're written the same in Japanese, but the former is a direct reference to Lovecraft story.
Whoa, the Insmasu Look made it in? It'd be so rad if that made your character look like a fish person.
I actually got the actual bad ending for Goizo. It should be an image of someone with tentacles coming out of their left eye. Overall, this vid is great, I am glad that someone took the time to find them as I haven't found all of them yet.

A little disappointing that GOIZO doesn't have a unique DOOM ending and that it just reuses the stamina loss one. Also just curious, does the Insmasu Curse cause anything else to happen during the campaign once the janitor curses you?
GOIZO's doom ending was added in a recent update.

You take a hit to your sanity and get a doom penalty since Oetaru is now unleashed on the seas, if I recall correctly

Do the ceremony early on before the body disappears, and write the symbol on his feet with the pamphlet.
The other actions that are not bow clap procedures are done exactly at the time said in the pamphlet. Except for covering the mirror, I couldn't do that but managed to get the first ending.
What happens if you defeat the monster in the first event?
the only way to damage it is through spells and even if you kill it the game treats it as if you ran away from it iirc
