How did u forget Navas for forest 😂
Putting Evan Ferguson and Gavin Bazunu in the XI is a shambles, Irish bias is almost as bad as English bias. How can you say “Irish Superstar Gavin Bazunu” with a straight face
Bro could you do a 2003-2013 one
I feel like rondaldo should start for United in 2014 or 2016
12.9 million Irish guys made it well done mate x
12.9/5 m
Imagine peak Aguero playing with Haaland, they would score 5 every game almost😭
I hope you mean 5 goals each, with the service from de bruyne, silva, Rodri and toure
aguero playing as a quick striker with haaland as a target striker, holy shit
"On December 20, 2005, Kobe Bryant and Kwame Brown combined for 63 points. Kobe scored 62, Kwame scored 1."
@@pogboom5819😂😂😂😂Tf
@@pogboom5819 that's just them, haaland and aguero aren't those guys and football isn't basketball
Henderson in the Liverpool midfield three? Yeah I know he's our captain and has quality from time to time, but he's a much weaker version of Gerrard. Playing two highly similar players together isn't guaranteed to work well. My pick over Henderson would absolutely be Phillipe Coutinho. Yes he can play midfield, has infinitely better skill on the ball than Henderson, and has way more goals in him. It might not be the sturdiest midfield, but you don't really need it to be when you have pre injury Van Dijk in the defense and with Alisson in goal.
and suarez, salah, mane as your front three. I would pick them as number 1
"Two highly similar players wont work well"
Also a fan of a team with a midfield of Hendo, Milner, fabinho and keita - who (sadly for me) have won absolutely everything there is to win.
You okay mate?
@@ChrisTravelssye what's he on about, our most trusted midfield under Klopp was Hendo - Fab - Gini, worked like a charm.
Hendo and Stevie G with Fabinho behind would be an absolute delight imo, even though I also rate Coutinho pre-Barca a LOT
Southampton 7th is nuts yes these players are good but he said in those specific years to have prime Alexis Sanchez and Prime aubameyang fed chances from Prime Ozil. Ozil would break the assist record in the league half way through the season.
True though considering these teams all the records will probably be broken pretty quickly - or not considering the competition
Swap Giroud with Prime Aubameyang that Leicester year Arsenal would’ve won the league idk what this guy is talking about
@@queenbean7071 yeah no not considering the competition every classic top 6 team would shatter records like they don’t exist but even in a league with all these teams Ozil with that attack would be favourites alongside KDB to win playmaker of the year
No Bolasie for Palace is crazy
wdym 😂Bolasie was just an average player who always had one random moment to genius dribbling once every 3 games
@@vl7721 ask any palace fan whether he was an 'average player'
@@Cowlluhm palace fan here. That guy calling him average is insane. He was incredible for us
@@ThomasDavid444 same here bro my favourite player for us
Better than olise, eze and zaha?@ThomasDavid444
A front 3 of Salah Mane Suarez with Gerrard behind good god no one would be safe
Salah, Mane and Suarez with pre-Barcelona Coutinho playing behind them as a 10 and Gerrard, peak Fabinho in the midfield. Game over
As a Chelsea fan i think you should have picked Azpilicueta 2017 instead of David Luis. Heck you could pick him in 2014 over Ben Chilwell or him 2018 over Reece James because he played all 3 positions and was equally immense in all of them!
Azpi is so underrated i swear
Nope. Reece James 2022 is our best player in real life and would be 4th best in that entire squad
@@ibitorucookey-gam7503 debatable 👍
I'm an Arsenal fan and I can't argue with that! Before his legs went a couple seasons ago he was world class in all 3 positions. People hype Reece James too much. He is great and all but it's recency bias as the team overall has been on a significant decline the past few years. Right now James is injury prone and when he has played after Tuchel hasn't looked sharp at all. His age is what's currently saving him but I'm worried he'll end up like Wiltshire with the injury problems.
Personally, I would put a Vertonghen year over Romero because I think he was far more reliable
it was 2021 Romero before he won the world cup and lost all interest in club football
Ok I’m an Atleti fan and I wanna try this.
4-1-2-1-2
GK: 2020 Oblak
RB: 2016 Juanfran
CB: 2015 Godin
CB: 2018 Gimenez
LB: 2017 Felipe Luis
CDM: 2019 Rodri
CM: 2022 Koke
CM: 2021 Llorente
CAM: 2023 Griezmann
ST: 2014 Costa
ST: 2013 Falcao
Instead of 2016 Griezmann where he was 3rd place at the Balon Dor, I picked his 2023 version at CAM because he’s far better creatively this season than ever before. The rest of it speaks for itself. With 2013-14 or 2015-16 Simeone coaching this team, we win everything.
no you wouldn't win everything .. you would probably be the toughest team to beat because 90% of your team is extremely defensive ,, but there's basically 0 pace in your team , just a lot of tough footballers
In that world Real Madrid would also have prime Ronaldo kroos modric casemiro bale Marcelo carvajal Ramos Pepe courtois benzema so you’d still get the annual spanking from us
@@yousefowner llorente was statistically the fastest player in laliga last season. Griezmann is slowing down but still has a sprint in him. You’re just wrong about Falcao and Costa though. Those two were straight bulldogs and would just spring past players in their prime. Don’t believe me? Look up Falcao and Costa’s goals in that era. They were great footballers.
@@halamadrid1048 possibly. We always choke to you lot. Although there was a time from 2012-14 where we were very even. We beat you multiple times in high stakes games like the 3-0 copa del rey in 2013, the 2-0 in 2012, the 1-0 in 2014, and 2-1 in 2015. I’d say that it would be a close match decided by each of our superstars on that particular day. Our offense would leave a little to be desired without any real technical players bar maybe Griezmann, but good luck scoring on that defense. Rodri holding that back four is a brick fucking wall.
@@gabrielyeargan6234 tbh with you I just need noodle hair Ronaldo or that unstoppable 2012 Ronaldo I won’t even need to mention that lethal prime bale or that midfield hell I’m leaving out players like ozil and di Maria bc of how stacked this team is and don’t forget that the manager would be the bald genius zizou who has a very good record against atleti
Love these videos this is prime Irish guy
Word
Actually, i'm a Liverpool fan and i'll put in a good word for Adrian. He has had more good performances than bad ones. A very good professional considering he's been third choice for the last two seasons.
He made some massive errors thank god he's no longer backup
conceded 7 against villa 😂
Yh I'll always hate him for that and the athlethico game
@@tallrodster7103 Not entirely his fault, but ok sure. The entire team was terrible on the day. Easy to pin blame on the GK.
@@abdulraheem468 Wouldn't be so sure, he's getting an extension. Sides, Adrian did excellent for our league season and didn't lose. Mignolet and Karius would of done much worse. So, i'll take Adrian over them anyday.
"THERE ARE GOALS IN THIS TEAM" Irish Guy's new favourite dialogue
No way you said Zaha 2014, The one season he didn’t play for palace in the last ten years 😂
Tbf he did come back that summer but even then pick a year that he was there for the whole time 😂
I think he accidentally had some guys with the year being the start of a season, not the season itself. He had Haaland for City in 2022, when Haaland arrived that summer (I think same with Ederson in 2017).
i mean he choose for the whole team an year
@@lucmurphy7155 Yeh, even so Zaha was far from at his best back then, he got relegated with Cardiff and was on his way to getting relegated with us by the end of the year, because Pardew saved us in 2015. I would've gone Wilf 2018 and Jedinak 2014 tbh. That leaves out Loftus cheek unfortunately.
He moved back on Loan in August 2014 and off the back of that half season january 2015 saw that loan made permanent
Panathinaikos fan here and our team would probably be:
GK Vlahodimos 2017
LB Insua 2019
CB Schenkeveld 2020
CB Moledo 2016
RB Seitaridis 2013
CM Zeka 2014
DM Kourbelis 2022
LM Chatzigiovannis 2021
RM Villafanez 2018
ST Berg 2015
ST Aitor 2023
It was hard choising between Mavrias and Seitaridis from 2013 and Johanson and Villafanez in 2018 but Seitaridis is probably ours and Greece's best right back of all time so he he gets the edge over Mavrias.
Christian Mavrais? Didn't he flop at Sunderland? I remember in Fifa 14 career mode he grew so much lol.
@@sukhdevr3489
For some reason he almost never played for Sunderland and his career took a downhill.
From what I read at the time the youth coaching stuff of Sunderland loved him but the real managers didn't.
This video must have taken some time to put together, thank you for the consistency Irish guy !
This was so excellently done it’s mind boggling!
Imagine putting a team with Aubameyang Özil and Saka in 8th..... You know the rest are just unbelievable
He literally said their attitudes are the problem
@@MainGTimo bro comeback and open your eyes and actually see my comment..... I said the rest are just unbelievable in football quality 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
And Sanchez! How can you not mention 2015 Sanchez that man was a fucking beast
Great vid concept Irish guy 🎉🎉🎉
Glad you included Yaya in the City XI he was sooooo good
This is tougher than it should be. For Spurs. You have options like Vertonghan to partner Alderweireld (Argueably their best CB Partnership), Danny Rose who back in 2015/16 was brilliant with Walker. Dembele just feels undroppable as a midfield general. The only one I was certain on is the front three. Son, Kane and Bale would be ridiculous, especially with Eriksen playing them in. So many tough choices.
9:39 Evan Ferguson over a Glenn Murray who scored 15 in a season for them
Nah no way a Man United team without Harry Maguire would finish below a team that has Harry Maguire in it. There’s just no way 😭😭😭
forgetting how good maguire was at leicester, wouldn't have signed him if he was shit
Didn't he play in a back 3
@@abdulraheem468 No but they played with a lower backline and a prime Johnny Evans beside him who provided leadership and inteligence.
Honestly really like the Toon picks. We had some beautiful French talent in the early 2010s and it's nice to see them remembered. Yohan Cabaye to Hatem Ben Arfa was a beautiful pairing and adding Bruno to the mix was superb. It's ironic that goalkeeping was such a weak link though, because normally our keepers have been pretty reasonable and our defence has been about as watertight as a colander in the Battle of the Somme.
How did PRIME Papiss Cisse not make the Cut ahead of Calum Wilson?!…. 👀. ⚽️
@@constablekennedy7705 Because prime Papiss Cisse was in 2012 and therefore outside the scope of this video, and while 2013-era Papiss Cisse was good, it would have meant giving up 2013-era Hatem Ben Arfa. Which... no thanks.
I'd love to see a 2-leg fixture of these versions of City v Liverpool! Talent off the charts!!! 😲🤯
Yea Irish guy😂😂😂 love this guy
Love this style of videos
Great idea! Loved it
nice vid waiting for the video aboit luton and coventry
Mitoma deserves to start instead of Ferguson
nah it's the irish guy, let him have his fun + patterson somewhat pocketed mitoma
He wouldn’t do that to an Irish player LOL
Wheres Glenn Murray
Absolutely brilliant video.
With the teams you made I would say that West Ham team is better than both the Newcastle and Everton ones, also thought arsenals team deserved to be as high as 6th. The top 5 tho were some teams and think you got them all spot on. Loved remembering some of the players throughout the years. Can only dream of that aguero and haaland partnership
Is there a way to test this? Like exporting player stats via football manager of all those years and putting the teams against each other in a premier league season. Would be interesting to see the result
football manager is bullshit
Hendo over Coutinho is madness
Only thing I'd change for United is formation change to include Ibra. He was unplayable in his first (and really only) season
love these type of videos, i dont comment often but i love these
Let me try Porto:
2017 Casillas
2018 Maxi Pereira
2023 Pepe (he’s that good)
2020 Mbemba
2014 Alex Sandro
2015 Casemiro
2018 Herrera
2016 Ruben Neves
2019 Yacine Brahimi
2021 Luis Diaz
2013 Jackson Martinez
Could definitely win the EL and make deep runs in the UCL although those versions of Casemiro and Neves in our midfield are still developing players. Danilo and Jackson’s best season were in the only year Casemiro was at the club but it’s still a surprisingly strong XI considering our drop off after second invincible season in 3 years
Irish guy we need your thoughts on city going to Istanbul
TBH Irish Guy, we'd have taken 13th after some of the utter dross we had to endure watching the Villa!
I am interested though, as a possible follow up, which versions of players would come out on top, in the systems should a player feature for more than one club.
This is certainly a brilliant idea no wonder it got 13 million views
Hi United XI here:
4-3-3 (the one with 2 CMs and a CAM)
GK: 2017 De gea
RB: 2015 Valencia
CB: 2014 Vidic
CB: 2018 Lindelof
LB: 2022 Shaw
CM/CDM: 2023 Casemiro
CM: 2021 Pogba
CAM: 2020 Fernandes
LW: 2019 Rashford
RW: 2013 Rooney (Fuck it he could play CB if needed he was that good)
ST: 2016 Zlatan
Lemme know what u would improve this with, personally I think this team with everyone in their absolute prime is unbeatable, the only ones I didn't pick in their prime is 2021 Pogba and 2014 Vidic, otherwise I think everyone is basically in their prime year
Here is my team as a Rangers Fan:
GK - Wes Foderingham (2016)
LB - Lee Wallace (2013)
CB - Calvin Bassey (2022)
CB - Connor Goldson (2018)
RB - James Tavernier (2015)
CM - Scott Arfield (2019)
CM - Joe Aribo (2020)
CM - Todd Cantwell (2023)
LW - Kris Boyd (2014)
ST - Alfredo Morelos (2017)
RW - Ianis Hagi (2021)
I would have bobby with Salah and Suarez. Don't get me wrong, Mane was great but when you have players like Suarez and Salah in the team already all you need is a play maker behind these and Bobby fits the bill perfectly. On another note this Liverpool team would beat that city team all day long.
Gerrard was pretty much a playmaker in 2013 - he had 52 g/a in 12/13 and 13/14
Lol shut up city owns you
That’s why you would switch Henderson for coutinho
@@xix8314 yeah it was absolutely insane to put Hendo in over Coutinho anyway
Bentekae also missed sitters Vs Bradford that season...
This is the type of video I expect from HITC Sevens
For Bournemouth I think Joshua king is underrated irember he got something like 18 goals in the league in 2016/17 season also for Brighton I would put white in over bruno
For the Brighton Xi I would probably include Leonardo Ulloa 2014 and then Solly March 2023
Do this with other top 5 leagues
That Liverpool team and Man City team will always be winning the trophies
Those fucing arms tho r huge respect
Try it without repeating players
Snubbing 2019 Pogba for either Rashford (year) or Matic (position) for your Man United XI was insane. The man was leading in all possible stats for us. He was doing the Bruno before Bruno.
Ngl incredible ball knowledge on display this video
Nuneaton mention 🔥🔥🔥
I'd have Jahanbazschke instead of Solly March in that Brighton.
The only thing I would change for Liverpool is 2016 Coutinho more creativity than Henderson. Plus, Gerrard can lead plus help dictate tempo so Henderson isn't needed.
Mad how many city and Liverpool are pretty much the same team apart from 2 players
4-1-2-1-2

Pirlo (2013)
Pogba (2015)
Dybala (2017)
Higuain (2016)
Ronaldo (2018)
Started with Pirlo and worked my way through. Hard not to have Bonucci, Barzagli, Pjanic, Vidal, Tevez, and especially Buffon but had to get our strongest midfield in there. (Also Mandžukić is a very under rated player but couldn’t get him in either)
no buffon is crazy... i would have him in instead of marchisio or pogba
@@tallrodster7103 I had him in he was a last second exclusion and it hurts cause he’s my favourite of all time and I’m a keeper myself.
I always thought Vidal was better than Marchisio
Best video to date. Way to capitalise on the Twitter algorithm favouriting you. 12m Impressions is enormous, hopefully you market this video well enough and can gain 20% of that in views and 5% of that in subscribers. I’d call that a W
I would get 2019 Fabianski and 2013 Reid but apart from that I agree with the lineup
Danny Baath or Richard Stearman anyday over Sam Ricketts!
Ricketts only played 4 games in the Championship in 2014-15 before we released him at the end of that season.
If its 2019 for the City midfield spot besides Yaya and KDB then it should be Fernandinho, don’t get me wrong Rodri is incredible now but back in 2019 (which Rodri was only there for the second half of) Ferna was still top dog at CDM and especially the second half of 18-19 reslly clutched up
Should be Rodri 2023 and KDB 2019 although I would still pick Fernandinho 2017
I love Henderson, but I would still choose Wijnaldum or Coutinho over him.
No Mitoma for Brighton but there's Solly March and Ferguson?
Next seasons version would include league two or lower players.
