Epektibo na ang kasunduan ng Pilipinas at US hinggil sa paggamit ng nuclear energy sa bansa.
Umaasa naman ang Department of Energy na susuportahan ng private sector ang pagtatayo ng nuclear power plants, lalo na kapag naging commercially available na ito sa mga susunod na taon.
