@@instnxct for a very few thats true but for most its not a real advantage. For example, more turns for jingliu means more downtime on her enhanced state. Someone like Seele cant make full use of her resurgence buff (cuz it technically increases the duration of buffs but if u dont have all the buffs on Seele to begin with, theres not much to maintain).
@Yasper-2TS Seele at E0 still has the highest single target dps potential amongst the E0 limited 5 stars and she is going to be meta again with Sparkle . eg There are still a lot of Chinese content creators doing 3 man 0 cycles with Seele ..that's probably very hard with the other limited 5 stars we have atm if not impossible at E0. She can one shot elites with really cracked supports and relics that these content creators have because of her very high dps ceiling People who think Seele has been powercrept just don't understand that Seele has a good kit but just has a low floor but a very high ceiling so you need mega investments in her relics to see her true potential . I am still one shotting almost all elites at moc 10 and below and ALWAYS killing an elite within the 1st cycle in moc 11/12 at E0S0 88/180 crit ratio. Eg the ape and ascendant in Moc 12 have 320k and 380k hp iirc and My seele does 240k on her ultimate with bronya + silver wolf's ultimate . This plus a few skills and quantum entaglement damage( not needed most of the time) will just murder all elites. Against bosses like Kafka who has 680k life in MoC 12 .. sparkle will really help here since her damage support is more consistent and she also provides better skill point economy. The powercreep problem will eventually happen though because Seele's eidolons are arse lol but we can always just put that investments in her supports like Sparkle, Silver wolf , Fu xuan etc to buffer against increase in dps req
So glad to see Kafka being the #1 on this list (even if it's technically not in order); I'm SO glad she has a mechanic to her that is both specific and very powerful considering she's my favorite character. I use her with Black Swan right now and they slap.
In general, the future proof chracters are the ones whose kit will never be rendered irrelevant. To cite an example from Genshin, crowd control kits like freezing and wind suction have largely fallen out of meta due to so many endgame enemies being immune to such stuff. If the devs ever wanted to make Ruan Mei or Kafka irrelevant, they’d need to do really extreme stuff like make DoT-immune enemies, or enemies that have stuff like toughness bars with invulnerability phases, etc and such things would render a big chunk of the roster irrelevant, so the damage done to player goodwill is not worth it. Examples of ways HSR characters can be rendered irrelevant are Silverwolf, whose value drops as your roster's elemental coverage gets more well rounded with more characters, and Seele whose Resurgence can get harder and harder to proc if the endgame enemies become harder to kill quickly.
I would argue that in specifically Silver Wolf’s case, her usage is twofold with mono-quantum. The weakness coverage can be crept and made irrelevant easily enough, but the quantum implant might be relevant enough to carry Silver Wolf’s usage through regardless of content.
@@grandmach4672 yeah unfortunately mono quantum seems to be the only good niche silver wolf is in, due to her inability to target what specific element weakness to put on the enemy. I think if her kit were such that you can control what party member's element to implant on the enemy, her usefulness would shoot up tremendously even in spite of her being single target
they have no way to really break the trio ruan mei, kafka and black swan. the three synergy soo much together that even against enemy that don't have wind + thunder weakness can still be deal with. what i see them is add different dps for hyper carry or add more synergy in different type of team, since this trio is a dot team. ruan mei on other hand outside if they add another character that bring as much buff i don't see her being left out.... outside hyper carry team really specific... ruan mei is often far more interesting than sparkle and bronya. i did check recently my ruan mei actually bring soo many buff that it's insane, we talk of reduce res pen, rupture buff, damage buff, speed buff without forget her damage on rupture or her ultimate that can rebreak the rupture when an enemy come back... all in all it's insane, i'm curious to see the synergy betwen her and gallager if the leak are confirmed.
i have thought about the case you mentioned about DoT-immune enemies. As of now, enemies are immune to elemental DoTs that correspond with their elemental type. Example, those electro birds are immune to shock, Blaze Out of Space is immune to burn, etc. Someday, who knows if there will be a 'multi-elemental' enemy that is straight up immune to burn, shock and wind shear. Very interesting to see that happen.
Nerf Ruan Mei? Release enemies that freeze their toughness bar or randomize/hide their weakness (which would incentivize Xueyi and Silverwolf's mechanics more). Nerf DoT? Release enemies that can cleanse themselves (or if that's too toxic), cleanse other enemies when triggered/ignored/some other targetted trigger. Nerf Blast attacks? Release enemies that mitigate AoE attacks to adjacent targets but take bonus damage from direct attacks. Point being, there are thousands of ways for Hoyoverse to *railroad* the meta to sell particular units. With the way powercreep has been handled, the most useful characters are the ones that interact the least with enemies (supports, mitigation, and restoration). The best dps character will always be the newest ones released.
I think Kafka's worse enemy would be a boss or mob that can clear every debuff (minus permanent one). Or a boss that scales its attack base on how many dots they have (like they consume it, then do burst damage to a single unit or multiple unit). But yeah im seeing the potential of Dot being future proof.
Fu Xuan has been my go-to sustain for most of the content but I've found Gepard to be better for higher difficulties of Gold & Gears where the bosses deal a lot of AoE damage which can one shot Fu Xuan as she ends up eating a majority of that team-wide damage. So I would say teamwide burst AoE is her main weakness. As for Something unto Death I haven't verified it but from what I hear her damage redirect can still work even when she's trapped.
ruan mei is by far one of the best character to pull on. she bring soo much into your team that don't use her it's because you try to run a team that recquire bronya. if you add her light cone + the new set from penacony she can bring soo much buff around that it's become ridiculous. same Black swan is a character that enhance soo much any dot team that having her will increase the damage of the whole team to another level. i love Kafka but she really shine with character like blackswan honestly this a heaven made duo... if you have them with ruan mei the team will deal tons of damage and can face almost anything.
im running black swan, kafka and ruan mei and honestly theyre so OP together. In MOC I tend to put Ruan Mei in the 2nd team cus Kafka and Black Swan alone are doing enough damage to finish the 1st round themselves. With Ruan Mei it's done too fast and the 2nd team can barely keep up to their damage
Kafka is obviously the priority for dot not black swan her kit enhance the damage of dot way more than black swan and we know that by a fact since dot is locked behind the mechanic of waiting for the enemy turn which make it quiet weak Kafka changes all of that by being able to trigger dot by insane multiplyer in mod she isn't the best but still very good in pure fiction shes heaven in su incredible and swarm disaster and gold gear. Ruan Mei is best with Kafka then black swan I feel like BS is insane with Kafka but if u had to choose Kafka and Ruan Mei are more priority
@@Furinasupremacyy11 kafka can make dot explose with her ultimate and skill, true., however, blackswan damage ramp up with every dot added. kafka react to the dot placed, by increasing her damage, however black swan synergise with every dot character. and honestly you don't split the trio kafka blackswan and ruan mei. the trio by itself is a godsend. you can either add a substain or another dps... god you can even put dr.ratio as fourth member and have something stupid. litterally... we don't have to decide which is best since the two are made to be together. honestly i run kafka, blackswan, ruan mei and lynk (mostly because i have no luck with the substain) and blackswan is the one dealing most of the damage... her arcana often reach stupid amount of damage it create some trouble in pure fiction, mostly because enemy die before i can even play leading them to have multiple turn before i can play.

No one talk about the quality of life that Topaz gives that you can use even in future. She gives extra curio and fragments in SU. especially when there is a new content in SU like swarm disaster and gold and gear. When there is a new map like Penacony, you can easily find the treasure chest. I have two account and i have no topaz in another account. its really pain in the ass in finding treasure chest without Topaz

I accidentally pulled for Topaz and I never regretted it so far. She's really fun to play specially with elation path. And Numby can find treasure boxes too
I like how Black Swan has become DoT Pela. Even without Kafka she’s a useful Debuffer to add to the team. Edit: It’s already proven that Black Swan doesn’t need Kafka to be useful. Using her for defence reduction isn’t optimal I get, but what’s with all these ‘cope’ comments when Pela is 4 Star we all got? If I need a Def Shredder I’ll use Pela because she’s made for it. If I just need ‘a little’ def shred and DoTs, I’ll use Black Swan. Obviously. Too many people taking two sentences and getting an entire essay from it.

I think Huohuo is incredibly underrated and will scale amazing for energy breakpoint/atk based teams. Otherwise yeah Fu Xuan is always going to be insane because preventative damage is overall a lot better than healing. If you can survive the buffs feel so good trying to speedrun content.

Silver wolf not even mentioned in honorable section? She brings so much to the team. Implant weakness, fast breaks, extremely powerful defense shred, pretty much a staple in all ratio teams.

Amazing video! i always try to pull for characters with diffrent playstyles based on game mechanics available right now. I sometimes look into the blessings we get from Simulated universe to predict the things we can get in future to plan for the type of characters/ playstyles I want.

Hmm I've got 3 characters you mentioned and i only just started October 2023 (PS5) Fu Xuan and Luocha are everywhere so ill definitely pull them on their rerun. I missed most characters before Jing Liu because i first played on PS5, i couldn't get Topaz, Argenti, Huohuo or Blade... But i did get Kafka, Black Swan and Imbibitor Lunae. I want to try and get Sparkle, Jing Yuan, Aventurine, Acheron etc. Only standard character i don't have is Bailu.

Great video, although I think i didn't understand the dance dance dance stacking correctly. From what you're saying, I understand that if I have 3 harmony units with S1 Dance, everytime one of them Ults, the action forward will be applied as if the other characters with the LC had ulted tho, thus, when 3 of my harmony units ult, the team would have been advanced 16x3 3 times? That seems very weird and really overpowered if it's that way.

I think it’s kinda funny how ppl think Bronya is getting power crept, when she still has more uses: sparkle might has better buffs then bronya, and SP recovering capabilities, but she doesn’t have a 100% forward skill, and cleanse. If you running hyper, and your dmger gets stunned, sparkle can’t do anything, Bronya still can. Problem with bronya, is that her buffs would be less, but besides that, she’s still viable. How I see it, is like a knife compared to a machete: A knife might be less powerful, but it still gets the job done, and isn’t as much of a burden when carrying with you, compared to a machete, but the machete can do more, and has more power to do stuff, but not the travel capabilities that a knife has, and the delicate nature of a knife. Really, sparkle just gives us a better buffer, but by no means is she all round better in all departments. But pull if you want, I have bronya, but I really do want Sparkle for QQ build. Gl Y’all!
Eod I just saw the info of the new soda monkey elite... If your characters are shielded while he throws the soda bottles then the bottle will be deflected to it 😅 and i just got gepard e2 in the standard banner
I will pull a support/healer (like HuoHuo) who can heal based on percentage of damage deals by allies (including DoT) and can provide attack up or all damage up... That would be so Groundbreaking for DoT teams...
Before watching: Topaz (very strong on her own and I can't imagine any future follow up based character that won't love her in the team) Kafka (see Topaz but for dot) Ruan Mei + Sparkle (hard to imagine their buffing capabilities getting seriously powercrept anytime soon) And I can at most imagine Fu Xuan being matched by a future sustain unit (hello Aventurine?) but not really powercrept. Especially not with her busted LC. Maaybee Silver Wolf to a certain extend but she will probably be powercrept by more aoe focused debuffers sooner or later, especially for people who have built a matching dps for any possible enemy weakness.
I have e2 Bronya, however I do still want to pull for Sparkle. I do not think Sparkle will powercreep Bronya. Sparkle adds more skillpoints reserve and her ult regenerate 4 skillpoints, she is more usefull in a skillpoint hungry team like Dan IL. Bronya is more effective in a skillpoint neutral team, someone like Jingliu. Both Sparkle and Bronya have their pro's and con's. You should pull for both if you want to defeat all the late game content.
If you're running 3 harmony then use Bronya, Sparkle and Hanya. She also boosts speed and gives skill points. It should fix the SP problem if you use them both and Il Dan.

i would argue with fu xuan not being able to be powercrept. İf we get more aoe nukes or more enemies that interact with shields and hurt bare hp bars she will get worse
while the meme something unto death does 1 shot your Fuxuan, her field is still up and 65% of the enemy's dmg still transfer to Fuxuan even tho she is capture and 0 HP on the display screen
lol I remembered my 2nd superimposed lc on lvl 1, if you're f2p I think you should still superimpose, bc you don't have enough resources to lvl them up anyway

Sparkle doesn't work well with Blade or Jingliu because they don't use skill points too often. With Blade most often not using skills at all lol. Bronya will probably remain their best support for now. Now other DPS on the other hand get a lot from her especially QQ and IL Dan because she allows other members on you team to skill more often or get max damage on skilll point abusers more frequently.
Jing Liu doesn't need Sparkle. She doesn't consume skill points whenever her talent is active. It is also easy to activate her talent at the first wave and Bronya helps her easily reactivate her talent. Jing Liu needs Pela that greatly reduces the defense of the enemy. Defense reduction or defense ignore - boosts a lot of damage by far in the game. Jing Liu also needs Luocha for continuous healing. Pela and Luocha can easily help Bronya for skill point generation. With this team and right build, any ice weak enemy can be defeated in 0 -1 cycle in MoC. Blade also doesn't consume skill points most of the time so she doesn't need Sparkle. Better use Sparkle with Seele, QQ, DHIL, Jing Yuan, Dr. Ratio, Topaz, Welt, Yanqing and Argenti.
As long as Kafka is there in the game, unless she is nerfed in some manner. DoT characters will always be good no matter if they are 5 or 4 star. Sparkle and Bronya both are also value adds. Although for F2P I wouldn't suggest sparkle unless they have some skill point hungry characters like Luna or other niche characters like Jing Yuan.
Fu Xuan's field works even if death or Svarog captures her so it's not a porblem for her. The only problem for Fu Xuan is seems like some Characters like Dr.Ratio and maybe some new ones will benefits from solo sustain who can also debuff enemy which Fu Xuan can't really do besides break.
I don't think that's suppose to be her problem. That's nihility unit's problem that responsible giving debuff as much as possible. Guinaifen is good example for it.
@@BladeCross What if there is a character who wants to have a debuff added every turn possibly a new meta dps character of electro element coming up soon? Then you want every character to apply debuff even sustain character because it's not amount of debuffs that counts but number of characters who can apply debuffs. But then I guess you can put burn lightcone on Fu Xuan and hope someone will hit her, that could work but a bit rng.
@@zolombox1779 that's one far fetched what ifs but here's my two cents 1. Fu Xuan are made to focusly on hp while have some def but not in huge margin. Trend of Market, the one that gives you burn dot on getting attacked are scaled by def. Fu Xuan doesn't need this, otherwise she'll lack even more for losing huge amount of hp 2. Personally and don't take it to heart. You were imagining it way too far to the point you sounded like you never learned what character offers what, what their gimmicks, what they're scaled from, etc. Or ig in other words you wanted to put characters added to the game in most unbalanced way as possible as you please. 3. Even this char existed, it will be a very limited counter and turns. Otherwise it will be unbalanced unit waiting to be harshly balanced. Which mean, practically useless in most cases. The setup will sounded like that of Yukong, lots of tuning needed. 4. The way I see it, your idea is all about : "forget defense, throw a full haymaker". In other words, buff your dps and forget your unit that suppose to keep you alive. 5. If you want to use that cone, don't put it on fu xuan. She'll lose her majority of capabilities to sustain your party 6. All you were saying still heavily theory crafted. There are bunch of videos where Ratio plays along with other sustain unit and proven work very well on moc 12. Even this char will be made as per your idea, there's other factor needs to be taken such as that of convenience. 7. Hypercarry unit exists. Making your idea of a char less useful. 8. This char idea will make the game more p2w as making player restless just because a certain nihility unit already able to give upto 7 debuffs +1 depending on the cone. 9. We already have this char to be better the more have dot, that is Kafka. However just simply having more dot doesn't mean it's great. While it's not as the char you described, kafka is something really close to your description. Albeit she still need sustain and even harmony char to boost her dmg. And ig 10. Having too much to boost your dps, or hell anything is too much id worst idea. Which if you don't like it, then ig stay in simulated universe
All mentioned I already own, I still struggle to pull acheron or sparkle… I don’t think my acc lack support character but acheron is just another lightning nihility 🤔 so tricky decision for me
thinking of dot future characters what would be cool if a harmony type character that speeds up enemis but makes them do % less damage ou make them atack twice for clara or they have a %chance to miss idk something that kinda buffs enemis but helps you
I agree about Kafka, but I don't think it's just that she can instantly detonate existing DOTs and remove that turn based limitation, it's also that in doing so she is effectively scaling with any DOT character. So for example, they added Black Swan; she brings some good damage and good features to the game, and I even heard some people who hadn't quite read up on either character wondering if maybe she was a replacement. But that's not how it works... She makes Kafka stronger just by existing. So Kafka will not replace a new DOT character, will not remove the need for that character, but if the same time they won't be doing the same for her. No matter what they add to the game there will always be a place for her, and she will always work well alongside new characters.
imo we should focus on vertical investment rather than horizontal investment. What I mean by this players should pull for both LC and Eidelons of a unit on their reruns or debut banners. Especially when the unit has a powerful LC comes into the game example being Jing Yuan or Argenti both units do not possess a lot of self buffs but have powerful LC's and eidolons that make them way stronger than their E0S0 counterparts by a longshot although the eidolons may seem lackluster both of their E1's hold a tremendous boost in power that people underate because these buffs normally while good is lackluster for other types of DPS but for them it is a big boost in power increase JY's ceiling to a higher extent all the while having a big dmg buff on Argenti due to his high natural multipliers the 40% CD is a gigantic buff for his dps overall dps cause of his extremely high multipliers alongside his exponential dmg increase against multiple targets the same goes for Jing Yuan. Not only that both JY and Argenti have a major lack of self buffs meaning both these units scale will scale well with every major buffer released into the game because it is harder to reach a point of diminishing returns on all buffs.

Or maybe did you think people were not pulling on both LC and character banners because they just didn't think that they could instead of it being prohibitively expensive? @@vetreas366 Reruns exists and this was meant for longevity and overtime use and mainly for people who don't want to spend an absurd amount of time and grinding specific resources getting the new premier dps or support. It is less time consuming on the long run to get eidolons for DPS you currently have and LC's which is usually meant to stay at S1. Since the only thing you will be doing in vertical investment is building 2 supports. Vertical investment is limiting yourself to investing in 2 5 star dps 2 5 star supports and 2 5 star sustain and 2 4 star supports. It isn't expensive if we talk about it long term especially since we have a 90 pull average each patch meaning it is enough to guarantee a 5 star. Vertical investment isn't limited to limited type dps it also works for standard banner dps. It is something to be applied long term not short term. It's why I said RERUN OR DEBUT banner it's for a long-term use because a E1S1 unit will always outdps and E0S0 unit of the same element. You don't have to be condescending or sarcastic what I am saying is a reasonable strategy for F2P. If we talk about time investment vertical investment is just the way to go for long term.

This isn't meant for a single banner run it's meant for overtime use. Example I get the character on their debut banner and I like the character so much I decide to save for it's rerun banner I do so then when the rerun comes I either go for E1 or S1 or both at the same time to boost the character I like further. Cause here is the thing building new characters every single patch is far more of a waste of resources than vertical investing I mean even Genshin F2P players pull for eidelons and these guys have a 50 pull average per patch 40 less than HSR 90 pull average.

Dr. Ratio I like dr. ratio he is a very strong dps only problem is Dr.Ratio at E0S0 is 22% weaker than E0S1 so I decide to invest into his LC. His next rerun comes I still like him and I am currently using him and still like him so I get his E1 because it is 11% better than E0S1 so now I have E1S1 Dr. Ratio a powerful dps unit at the same time making the crit problem a bit easier with the big increase in base stats. Now that I have a fully built E1S1 Dr. Ratio who is already a powerful unit now even stronger it makes it harder to replace him in my account.
Personal opinion for most content, Fu Xuan but end game like Swarm or Gold and Gears, Aventurine will be better cause of massive bursts. Fu Xuan will mitigate everyone's damage but she will probably die in the progress while Aventurine will just follow up and Fortify the shield, but that's me
Its true Pela for me now is more valuable than Tingyun for the AOE def down, im also looking foward to a 5 star that just mainly focus on decrease defense. Pela is good but she is best with Jingliu for me just like Tingyun with Jingyuan.
The game isn't hard enough to be concerned with shit like this. Pull for whoever you like, life is too short to stress over stuff like this. Be patient and enjoy the game.

7:00 would agree if not for the fact that everything does DoTs now and it completely ignores shields lol and Bailu especially is awful example as bailu does reduce damage taken on characters with HoT and heals immediately after taking damage and in 99% of the cases it heals more than the DoT took

no, herta LC already serviceable for fuxuan thats the beauty of sustain character. You dont want to minmaxing them because the moment you need minmaxing sustain character for a content 70% of playerbase cant clear that content
i thought it was popular opinion that fx's cone isn't a good choice/not worth it? i've been using her without her "sig" since her release and she's stiill my best sustain, even over the ones that have their sigs (like luocha)
4 stars are a testing ground for future 5 stars? In my opinion this is for most cases untrue in Genshin and HSR. There are some outliners like Yelan and Waterboy. But even they are very different in what they bring to the team...
tbf she's sp negative, not by much ofc but since her best team is naturally to be paired with bronya due to her low sp consumption, the team's sp usage becomes pretty big in the end.
I don't think Sparkle is the Death Blow needed to turn Bronya to Bailu/Yanqing value. She will be better in a Lot of team Comps compared to Bronya. (Including FUA/SP every turn/SP Hungry comps, but there are still several ways Bronya is Superior/Superior with a certain amount of units. First of all Bronya's still Superior when it comes to Wombo Comboing or DPS then Bronya then DPS comps then Sparkle with her 50% AV. (Sparkle's a lot better for Fast Support pulling up Slow DPS comps as Wombo comboing with Sparkle is quite Funky or will only Grant you 1.5 actions vs Bronya's 2 actions Bronya still has the Cleanse with her Skill meaning she has the Edge over Sparkle when it comes to pairing her with Bailu or Gepard. (Both lack Any forms of Cleanse/CC prevention) Sparkle Gives way more Crit Damage but Bronya gives way more Damage boost. (They are comparable to Amplification at Pure E0S5P&F) but comparing E0S1 Bronya to E0S1 Sparkle. Bronya gives Double the Damage boost & Sparkle gives More then double the Crit Damage at the Same Crit DMG +28% from S1. Units like Xueyi or those with High DMG boost to Break Effect Conversion will benefit way More from Sparkle's Crit DMG Boost and her ATK from the Quantum traces compared to Bronya's huge DMG boost. Jingliu is the Pure Opposite, she is Dry in DMG boost but has 75%-100% More Crii DMG due to her having a 50% CR buff by Default. I think she benefits way more from Bronya's DMG Boost vs Sparkle's Crit DMG boost and one being Saturated over the other is a Big plus in Bronya's Favor. Any SP positive Damage Dealers will suffice just as well if not even better with Bronya as there isn't any Anti Synergy from her Talent that one would need to get Around with a SP negative team to get around to benefit unlike Sparkle.
I think instead of topaz and numby the last spot should have gone to blade. The dude kit have almost no means to be bested. He's the most down to standard unit with everything being good bad still can go great with future equipement but with no means to go down

@@failingartist3524 ikr, even speed on substats I can't get lucky to. EVEN MAIN STATS FOR MY DOT DPS I STRUGGLE WITH ALSO. All my main stat relic selectors are gone just because my luck really sucks. Even then, those relics still does not count as a perfect relic even after using the selector. This game is much more brutal than the "certain game could never" that this game's players' keep bitching about. Guys, I need help with choosing who to pull for. 5* characters I currently own: Luocha, Blade, Ratio, Welt E2, JingYuan, Yanqing, Clara, Himeko (yes, I lost every single 50:50, that's just my luck). My Pela, Tingyun, Herta, Sushang, Yukong are all E6, QQ is E3. I wanted to try going for Fu Xuan, Acheron and Aventurine but I'm afraid I'll end up with a bunch of 5* who don't work well together. Any advice?
Hey idk how ur progress is going but I think aventurine or fu xuan would be a great pick! Im also looking for a second sustain preservation and imo Fu xuan is more valuable in my case, she tanks dmg but her 15% crit rate buff is too good to pass up on top of the chunky build. As for Acheron, I see you have Loucha and Pela, so thats a great start in terms of debuffers. You can play 1 other nihility character if you have one to maxamize Acheron trace (if youve pulled for her)

If you have a main damage dealer which is a skill-point sink then I would get Sparkle. If you don't then I'd consider Acheron/Aventurine but Sparkle is still a great pick-up We will also get to see Acheron and Aventurine's official kit soon so you're in no rush, you might want to consider the fact that Acheron could synergise well with Sparkle Also SPOILER: Aventurine is a sustain apparently, which means there's a chance Fu Xuan won't rerun alongside him as that would be bad for sales. Either way just go for the unit you like the most, personally going for Acheron, mostly because there has not been a single game Raiden hasn't been broken in
Im planning on getting sparkle and fu xuan but the problem is I may not have enough jades for both. Should i skip sparkle for fu xuan this time and get her when she reruns? And how long can we expect before she gets another rerun? 5 months?

@@onimusha950 I think it's unlikely, firstly, 2 preservation 5 stars in one patch (they never do this), secondly, it would be noneconomic because people would pull for Fu Xuan instead of Aventurine.
Id at least throw in Jingliu as a HM as a FP dps as in even when she drops off she'll be prb the best sup dsp for a long time because she is so SP friendly. Also ill alway disagree with Topass simply because her Damage isn't amazing and we are getting true Follow up support at some point not to mention some FuA characters don't even use her.
Take it as an advice, every new char is going to be very powerfull and broken at the same time in the future and yes this is what is happening in this game since now tho
you aren't missing out by not pulling a character at it's debut, don't fall into the FOMO trap. Choose the character you like the most, also if it helps, Raiden has been meta in every single hoyo game so I'd like to assume they'd give Acheron the same treatment

Sparkle is best in a team with DHIL, QQ, Argenti, Dr. Ratio, Topaz, Yanqing, Jing Yuan and or Welt. Ruan Mei can be good in any team.
usually you have a skill point positive sustain that allows bronya to skill every turn. there are speed tuning things with her basic giving her a big speed bump and her e1 giving skill point refund that add some complexity. if you have her e1 skill point refund chance and her sig light cone skill refund then she gets a lot closer to skill point neutral while using skill every turn for the instant turn. with speed tuning it means your main dps is going about twice as many attacks while constantly buffed up massively. pretty insane.
@@ittehitteh9322 That is assuming sparkle gives the same/more buffs than bronya, if she doesn't she wont be a replacement to bronya in skill positive teams. In my opinion that is likely to be the outcome, I highly doubt they would completely bench a character and make another one better in all ways, but let's see.

Apparently from the math, bronya + sparkle is not that great. Its very hard to maintain proper buff uptime cuz the dps is gonna take alot of turns.

@@instnxct for a very few thats true but for most its not a real advantage. For example, more turns for jingliu means more downtime on her enhanced state. Someone like Seele cant make full use of her resurgence buff (cuz it technically increases the duration of buffs but if u dont have all the buffs on Seele to begin with, theres not much to maintain).
Tbh bronya is still usefull for Blade/jingliu

@Yasper-2TS Seele at E0 still has the highest single target dps potential amongst the E0 limited 5 stars and she is going to be meta again with Sparkle . eg There are still a lot of Chinese content creators doing 3 man 0 cycles with Seele ..that's probably very hard with the other limited 5 stars we have atm if not impossible at E0. She can one shot elites with really cracked supports and relics that these content creators have because of her very high dps ceiling
People who think Seele has been powercrept just don't understand that Seele has a good kit but just has a low floor but a very high ceiling so you need mega investments in her relics to see her true potential . I am still one shotting almost all elites at moc 10 and below and ALWAYS killing an elite within the 1st cycle in moc 11/12 at E0S0 88/180 crit ratio. Eg the ape and ascendant in Moc 12 have 320k and 380k hp iirc and My seele does 240k on her ultimate with bronya + silver wolf's ultimate . This plus a few skills and quantum entaglement damage( not needed most of the time) will just murder all elites. Against bosses like Kafka who has 680k life in MoC 12 .. sparkle will really help here since her damage support is more consistent and she also provides better skill point economy.
The powercreep problem will eventually happen though because Seele's eidolons are arse lol but we can always just put that investments in her supports like Sparkle, Silver wolf , Fu xuan etc to buffer against increase in dps req

So glad to see Kafka being the #1 on this list (even if it's technically not in order); I'm SO glad she has a mechanic to her that is both specific and very powerful considering she's my favorite character. I use her with Black Swan right now and they slap.
So true. I also have Kafka and black Swan. They are so broken together and I am so happy they are, after spending so many jades on kafka and swan.
In general, the future proof chracters are the ones whose kit will never be rendered irrelevant. To cite an example from Genshin, crowd control kits like freezing and wind suction have largely fallen out of meta due to so many endgame enemies being immune to such stuff.
If the devs ever wanted to make Ruan Mei or Kafka irrelevant, they’d need to do really extreme stuff like make DoT-immune enemies, or enemies that have stuff like toughness bars with invulnerability phases, etc and such things would render a big chunk of the roster irrelevant, so the damage done to player goodwill is not worth it.
Examples of ways HSR characters can be rendered irrelevant are Silverwolf, whose value drops as your roster's elemental coverage gets more well rounded with more characters, and Seele whose Resurgence can get harder and harder to proc if the endgame enemies become harder to kill quickly.
I would argue that in specifically Silver Wolf’s case, her usage is twofold with mono-quantum. The weakness coverage can be crept and made irrelevant easily enough, but the quantum implant might be relevant enough to carry Silver Wolf’s usage through regardless of content.
@@grandmach4672 yeah unfortunately mono quantum seems to be the only good niche silver wolf is in, due to her inability to target what specific element weakness to put on the enemy. I think if her kit were such that you can control what party member's element to implant on the enemy, her usefulness would shoot up tremendously even in spite of her being single target
they have no way to really break the trio ruan mei, kafka and black swan. the three synergy soo much together that even against enemy that don't have wind + thunder weakness can still be deal with.
what i see them is add different dps for hyper carry or add more synergy in different type of team, since this trio is a dot team.
ruan mei on other hand outside if they add another character that bring as much buff i don't see her being left out.... outside hyper carry team really specific... ruan mei is often far more interesting than sparkle and bronya. i did check recently my ruan mei actually bring soo many buff that it's insane, we talk of reduce res pen, rupture buff, damage buff, speed buff without forget her damage on rupture or her ultimate that can rebreak the rupture when an enemy come back... all in all it's insane, i'm curious to see the synergy betwen her and gallager if the leak are confirmed.
i have thought about the case you mentioned about DoT-immune enemies. As of now, enemies are immune to elemental DoTs that correspond with their elemental type. Example, those electro birds are immune to shock, Blaze Out of Space is immune to burn, etc. Someday, who knows if there will be a 'multi-elemental' enemy that is straight up immune to burn, shock and wind shear. Very interesting to see that happen.
Nerf Ruan Mei? Release enemies that freeze their toughness bar or randomize/hide their weakness (which would incentivize Xueyi and Silverwolf's mechanics more).
Nerf DoT? Release enemies that can cleanse themselves (or if that's too toxic), cleanse other enemies when triggered/ignored/some other targetted trigger.
Nerf Blast attacks? Release enemies that mitigate AoE attacks to adjacent targets but take bonus damage from direct attacks.
Point being, there are thousands of ways for Hoyoverse to *railroad* the meta to sell particular units. With the way powercreep has been handled, the most useful characters are the ones that interact the least with enemies (supports, mitigation, and restoration). The best dps character will always be the newest ones released.

I think Kafka's worse enemy would be a boss or mob that can clear every debuff (minus permanent one). Or a boss that scales its attack base on how many dots they have (like they consume it, then do burst damage to a single unit or multiple unit). But yeah im seeing the potential of Dot being future proof.
They wouldn’t butcher an entire archetype they have done that already with bronya but then you just target her so she can’t cleanse the other enemy

Fu Xuan has been my go-to sustain for most of the content but I've found Gepard to be better for higher difficulties of Gold & Gears where the bosses deal a lot of AoE damage which can one shot Fu Xuan as she ends up eating a majority of that team-wide damage. So I would say teamwide burst AoE is her main weakness.
As for Something unto Death I haven't verified it but from what I hear her damage redirect can still work even when she's trapped.
ruan mei is by far one of the best character to pull on. she bring soo much into your team that don't use her it's because you try to run a team that recquire bronya. if you add her light cone + the new set from penacony she can bring soo much buff around that it's become ridiculous.
same Black swan is a character that enhance soo much any dot team that having her will increase the damage of the whole team to another level. i love Kafka but she really shine with character like blackswan honestly this a heaven made duo... if you have them with ruan mei the team will deal tons of damage and can face almost anything.
Im only missing her signature LC by this point but yeah the new RELIC makes it easier to help us reach the needed 180% break effect
im running black swan, kafka and ruan mei and honestly theyre so OP together. In MOC I tend to put Ruan Mei in the 2nd team cus Kafka and Black Swan alone are doing enough damage to finish the 1st round themselves. With Ruan Mei it's done too fast and the 2nd team can barely keep up to their damage
Kafka is obviously the priority for dot not black swan her kit enhance the damage of dot way more than black swan and we know that by a fact since dot is locked behind the mechanic of waiting for the enemy turn which make it quiet weak Kafka changes all of that by being able to trigger dot by insane multiplyer in mod she isn't the best but still very good in pure fiction shes heaven in su incredible and swarm disaster and gold gear. Ruan Mei is best with Kafka then black swan I feel like BS is insane with Kafka but if u had to choose Kafka and Ruan Mei are more priority

and honestly you don't split the trio kafka blackswan and ruan mei. the trio by itself is a godsend. you can either add a substain or another dps... god you can even put dr.ratio as fourth member and have something stupid. litterally...
we don't have to decide which is best since the two are made to be together. honestly i run kafka, blackswan, ruan mei and lynk (mostly because i have no luck with the substain) and blackswan is the one dealing most of the damage... her arcana often reach stupid amount of damage it create some trouble in pure fiction, mostly because enemy die before i can even play leading them to have multiple turn before i can play.

No one talk about the quality of life that Topaz gives that you can use even in future. She gives extra curio and fragments in SU. especially when there is a new content in SU like swarm disaster and gold and gear. When there is a new map like Penacony, you can easily find the treasure chest. I have two account and i have no topaz in another account. its really pain in the ass in finding treasure chest without Topaz

Edit: It’s already proven that Black Swan doesn’t need Kafka to be useful. Using her for defence reduction isn’t optimal I get, but what’s with all these ‘cope’ comments when Pela is 4 Star we all got?
If I need a Def Shredder I’ll use Pela because she’s made for it. If I just need ‘a little’ def shred and DoTs, I’ll use Black Swan. Obviously.

I think Huohuo is incredibly underrated and will scale amazing for energy breakpoint/atk based teams. Otherwise yeah Fu Xuan is always going to be insane because preventative damage is overall a lot better than healing. If you can survive the buffs feel so good trying to speedrun content.

Silver wolf not even mentioned in honorable section? She brings so much to the team. Implant weakness, fast breaks, extremely powerful defense shred, pretty much a staple in all ratio teams.
This video came out at a grade time. If you have been playing have a start and have been only using the standard pass to pull (Not using jade), you should be about 290 pulls in or something
Amazing video! i always try to pull for characters with diffrent playstyles based on game mechanics available right now. I sometimes look into the blessings we get from Simulated universe to predict the things we can get in future to plan for the type of characters/ playstyles I want.

Hmm I've got 3 characters you mentioned and i only just started October 2023 (PS5)
Fu Xuan and Luocha are everywhere so ill definitely pull them on their rerun.
I missed most characters before Jing Liu because i first played on PS5, i couldn't get Topaz, Argenti, Huohuo or Blade... But i did get Kafka, Black Swan and Imbibitor Lunae.
I want to try and get Sparkle, Jing Yuan, Aventurine, Acheron etc.
Only standard character i don't have is Bailu.
Blade is 100% a character that won’t get replaced because of his unique playstyle

Great video, although I think i didn't understand the dance dance dance stacking correctly. From what you're saying, I understand that if I have 3 harmony units with S1 Dance, everytime one of them Ults, the action forward will be applied as if the other characters with the LC had ulted tho, thus, when 3 of my harmony units ult, the team would have been advanced 16x3 3 times? That seems very weird and really overpowered if it's that way.

It’s great to see that Kafka and Topaz are both living up to their status as future proof units, as with them being enablers for a specific playstyle.
I think it’s kinda funny how ppl think Bronya is getting power crept, when she still has more uses: sparkle might has better buffs then bronya, and SP recovering capabilities, but she doesn’t have a 100% forward skill, and cleanse. If you running hyper, and your dmger gets stunned, sparkle can’t do anything, Bronya still can. Problem with bronya, is that her buffs would be less, but besides that, she’s still viable.
How I see it, is like a knife compared to a machete: A knife might be less powerful, but it still gets the job done, and isn’t as much of a burden when carrying with you, compared to a machete, but the machete can do more, and has more power to do stuff, but not the travel capabilities that a knife has, and the delicate nature of a knife.
Really, sparkle just gives us a better buffer, but by no means is she all round better in all departments. But pull if you want, I have bronya, but I really do want Sparkle for QQ build.

Before watching:
Topaz (very strong on her own and I can't imagine any future follow up based character that won't love her in the team)
Kafka (see Topaz but for dot)
Ruan Mei + Sparkle (hard to imagine their buffing capabilities getting seriously powercrept anytime soon)
And I can at most imagine Fu Xuan being matched by a future sustain unit (hello Aventurine?) but not really powercrept. Especially not with her busted LC.
Maaybee Silver Wolf to a certain extend but she will probably be powercrept by more aoe focused debuffers sooner or later, especially for people who have built a matching dps for any possible enemy weakness.
I have e2 Bronya, however I do still want to pull for Sparkle. I do not think Sparkle will powercreep Bronya. Sparkle adds more skillpoints reserve and her ult regenerate 4 skillpoints, she is more usefull in a skillpoint hungry team like Dan IL. Bronya is more effective in a skillpoint neutral team, someone like Jingliu. Both Sparkle and Bronya have their pro's and con's. You should pull for both if you want to defeat all the late game content.
If you're running 3 harmony then use Bronya, Sparkle and Hanya. She also boosts speed and gives skill points. It should fix the SP problem if you use them both and Il Dan.

Do u guys think a team of blade/Jingliu, Bronya, Sparkle, Sustain would be good? Or is the existing best team for them still better?
Sparkle doesn't work well with Blade or Jingliu because they don't use skill points too often. With Blade most often not using skills at all lol. Bronya will probably remain their best support for now. Now other DPS on the other hand get a lot from her especially QQ and IL Dan because she allows other members on you team to skill more often or get max damage on skilll point abusers more frequently.
Jing Liu doesn't need Sparkle. She doesn't consume skill points whenever her talent is active. It is also easy to activate her talent at the first wave and Bronya helps her easily reactivate her talent. Jing Liu needs Pela that greatly reduces the defense of the enemy. Defense reduction or defense ignore - boosts a lot of damage by far in the game. Jing Liu also needs Luocha for continuous healing. Pela and Luocha can easily help Bronya for skill point generation. With this team and right build, any ice weak enemy can be defeated in 0 -1 cycle in MoC.
Blade also doesn't consume skill points most of the time so she doesn't need Sparkle. Better use Sparkle with Seele, QQ, DHIL, Jing Yuan, Dr. Ratio, Topaz, Welt, Yanqing and Argenti.
It can work with Blade, not as synergistic with Jingliu tho
As long as Kafka is there in the game, unless she is nerfed in some manner. DoT characters will always be good no matter if they are 5 or 4 star. Sparkle and Bronya both are also value adds. Although for F2P I wouldn't suggest sparkle unless they have some skill point hungry characters like Luna or other niche characters like Jing Yuan.
Fu Xuan's field works even if death or Svarog captures her so it's not a porblem for her. The only problem for Fu Xuan is seems like some Characters like Dr.Ratio and maybe some new ones will benefits from solo sustain who can also debuff enemy which Fu Xuan can't really do besides break.
I don't think that's suppose to be her problem. That's nihility unit's problem that responsible giving debuff as much as possible. Guinaifen is good example for it.
@@BladeCross What if there is a character who wants to have a debuff added every turn possibly a new meta dps character of electro element coming up soon? Then you want every character to apply debuff even sustain character because it's not amount of debuffs that counts but number of characters who can apply debuffs. But then I guess you can put burn lightcone on Fu Xuan and hope someone will hit her, that could work but a bit rng.

1. Fu Xuan are made to focusly on hp while have some def but not in huge margin. Trend of Market, the one that gives you burn dot on getting attacked are scaled by def. Fu Xuan doesn't need this, otherwise she'll lack even more for losing huge amount of hp
2. Personally and don't take it to heart. You were imagining it way too far to the point you sounded like you never learned what character offers what, what their gimmicks, what they're scaled from, etc.
Or ig in other words you wanted to put characters added to the game in most unbalanced way as possible as you please.
3. Even this char existed, it will be a very limited counter and turns. Otherwise it will be unbalanced unit waiting to be harshly balanced. Which mean, practically useless in most cases. The setup will sounded like that of Yukong, lots of tuning needed.
4. The way I see it, your idea is all about : "forget defense, throw a full haymaker". In other words, buff your dps and forget your unit that suppose to keep you alive.
5. If you want to use that cone, don't put it on fu xuan. She'll lose her majority of capabilities to sustain your party
6. All you were saying still heavily theory crafted. There are bunch of videos where Ratio plays along with other sustain unit and proven work very well on moc 12. Even this char will be made as per your idea, there's other factor needs to be taken such as that of convenience.
7. Hypercarry unit exists. Making your idea of a char less useful.
8. This char idea will make the game more p2w as making player restless just because a certain nihility unit already able to give upto 7 debuffs +1 depending on the cone.
9. We already have this char to be better the more have dot, that is Kafka. However just simply having more dot doesn't mean it's great. While it's not as the char you described, kafka is something really close to your description. Albeit she still need sustain and even harmony char to boost her dmg.
And ig 10. Having too much to boost your dps, or hell anything is too much id worst idea. Which if you don't like it, then ig stay in simulated universe
All mentioned I already own, I still struggle to pull acheron or sparkle… I don’t think my acc lack support character but acheron is just another lightning nihility 🤔 so tricky decision for me
thinking of dot future characters what would be cool if a harmony type character that speeds up enemis but makes them do % less damage ou make them atack twice for clara or they have a %chance to miss idk something that kinda buffs enemis but helps you
I agree about Kafka, but I don't think it's just that she can instantly detonate existing DOTs and remove that turn based limitation, it's also that in doing so she is effectively scaling with any DOT character.
So for example, they added Black Swan; she brings some good damage and good features to the game, and I even heard some people who hadn't quite read up on either character wondering if maybe she was a replacement. But that's not how it works... She makes Kafka stronger just by existing. So Kafka will not replace a new DOT character, will not remove the need for that character, but if the same time they won't be doing the same for her.
No matter what they add to the game there will always be a place for her, and she will always work well alongside new characters.

imo we should focus on vertical investment rather than horizontal investment. What I mean by this players should pull for both LC and Eidelons of a unit on their reruns or debut banners. Especially when the unit has a powerful LC comes into the game example being Jing Yuan or Argenti both units do not possess a lot of self buffs but have powerful LC's and eidolons that make them way stronger than their E0S0 counterparts by a longshot although the eidolons may seem lackluster both of their E1's hold a tremendous boost in power that people underate because these buffs normally while good is lackluster for other types of DPS but for them it is a big boost in power increase JY's ceiling to a higher extent all the while having a big dmg buff on Argenti due to his high natural multipliers the 40% CD is a gigantic buff for his dps overall dps cause of his extremely high multipliers alongside his exponential dmg increase against multiple targets the same goes for Jing Yuan.
Not only that both JY and Argenti have a major lack of self buffs meaning both these units scale will scale well with every major buffer released into the game because it is harder to reach a point of diminishing returns on all buffs.
Cool dude. Let me know when you decide to give everyone money to do that since it's such a good idea.

@@vetreas366 Reruns exists and this was meant for longevity and overtime use and mainly for people who don't want to spend an absurd amount of time and grinding specific resources getting the new premier dps or support. It is less time consuming on the long run to get eidolons for DPS you currently have and LC's which is usually meant to stay at S1. Since the only thing you will be doing in vertical investment is building 2 supports.
Vertical investment is limiting yourself to investing in 2 5 star dps 2 5 star supports and 2 5 star sustain and 2 4 star supports. It isn't expensive if we talk about it long term especially since we have a 90 pull average each patch meaning it is enough to guarantee a 5 star. Vertical investment isn't limited to limited type dps it also works for standard banner dps. It is something to be applied long term not short term.
It's why I said RERUN OR DEBUT banner it's for a long-term use because a E1S1 unit will always outdps and E0S0 unit of the same element.
You don't have to be condescending or sarcastic what I am saying is a reasonable strategy for F2P.
If we talk about time investment vertical investment is just the way to go for long term.

Example I get the character on their debut banner and I like the character so much I decide to save for it's rerun banner I do so then when the rerun comes I either go for E1 or S1 or both at the same time to boost the character I like further. Cause here is the thing building new characters every single patch is far more of a waste of resources than vertical investing
I mean even Genshin F2P players pull for eidelons and these guys have a 50 pull average per patch 40 less than HSR 90 pull average.

Dr. Ratio I like dr. ratio he is a very strong dps only problem is Dr.Ratio at E0S0 is 22% weaker than E0S1 so I decide to invest into his LC. His next rerun comes I still like him and I am currently using him and still like him so I get his E1 because it is 11% better than E0S1 so now I have E1S1 Dr. Ratio a powerful dps unit at the same time making the crit problem a bit easier with the big increase in base stats. Now that I have a fully built E1S1 Dr. Ratio who is already a powerful unit now even stronger it makes it harder to replace him in my account.

Personal opinion for most content, Fu Xuan but end game like Swarm or Gold and Gears, Aventurine will be better cause of massive bursts. Fu Xuan will mitigate everyone's damage but she will probably die in the progress while Aventurine will just follow up and Fortify the shield, but that's me
Its true Pela for me now is more valuable than Tingyun for the AOE def down, im also looking foward to a 5 star that just mainly focus on decrease defense. Pela is good but she is best with Jingliu for me just like Tingyun with Jingyuan.

7:00 would agree if not for the fact that everything does DoTs now and it completely ignores shields lol and Bailu especially is awful example as bailu does reduce damage taken on characters with HoT and heals immediately after taking damage and in 99% of the cases it heals more than the DoT took

i thought it was popular opinion that fx's cone isn't a good choice/not worth it? i've been using her without her "sig" since her release and she's stiill my best sustain, even over the ones that have their sigs (like luocha)
4 stars are a testing ground for future 5 stars? In my opinion this is for most cases untrue in Genshin and HSR. There are some outliners like Yelan and Waterboy. But even they are very different in what they bring to the team...
Jing Liu is the only character right now that I need on my account since she is SP positive and broken when it comes to damage.
she's not sp positive, she's sp neutral. she doesn't consume that much sp but she doesn't generate them either

but since her best team is naturally to be paired with bronya due to her low sp consumption, the team's sp usage becomes pretty big in the end.
I don't think Sparkle is the Death Blow needed to turn Bronya to Bailu/Yanqing value. She will be better in a Lot of team Comps compared to Bronya. (Including FUA/SP every turn/SP Hungry comps, but there are still several ways Bronya is Superior/Superior with a certain amount of units.
First of all Bronya's still Superior when it comes to Wombo Comboing or DPS then Bronya then DPS comps then Sparkle with her 50% AV. (Sparkle's a lot better for Fast Support pulling up Slow DPS comps as Wombo comboing with Sparkle is quite Funky or will only Grant you 1.5 actions vs Bronya's 2 actions
Bronya still has the Cleanse with her Skill meaning she has the Edge over Sparkle when it comes to pairing her with Bailu or Gepard. (Both lack Any forms of Cleanse/CC prevention)
Sparkle Gives way more Crit Damage but Bronya gives way more Damage boost. (They are comparable to Amplification at Pure E0S5P&F) but comparing E0S1 Bronya to E0S1 Sparkle. Bronya gives Double the Damage boost & Sparkle gives More then double the Crit Damage at the Same Crit DMG +28% from S1.
Units like Xueyi or those with High DMG boost to Break Effect Conversion will benefit way More from Sparkle's Crit DMG Boost and her ATK from the Quantum traces compared to Bronya's huge DMG boost. Jingliu is the Pure Opposite, she is Dry in DMG boost but has 75%-100% More Crii DMG due to her having a 50% CR buff by Default. I think she benefits way more from Bronya's DMG Boost vs Sparkle's Crit DMG boost and one being Saturated over the other is a Big plus in Bronya's Favor.
Any SP positive Damage Dealers will suffice just as well if not even better with Bronya as there isn't any Anti Synergy from her Talent that one would need to get Around with a SP negative team to get around to benefit unlike Sparkle.
I think instead of topaz and numby the last spot should have gone to blade. The dude kit have almost no means to be bested. He's the most down to standard unit with everything being good bad still can go great with future equipement but with no means to go down
Pulling for Sparkle would be such an easy choice to make if only Acheron and Aventurine didn't look so good. 😭

man my 2 teams is dot and follow up, everyone else i lost to pity is y, never looked back
same, except I chose to create a DoT team, because of how satisfying and consistent it is rather than seeing big numbers once, hugely relying on luck (I hate crit in games, they never work for me (yes, I value crit rate over c.dmg))

@@failingartist3524 ikr, even speed on substats I can't get lucky to. EVEN MAIN STATS FOR MY DOT DPS I STRUGGLE WITH ALSO. All my main stat relic selectors are gone just because my luck really sucks. Even then, those relics still does not count as a perfect relic even after using the selector.
This game is much more brutal than the "certain game could never" that this game's players' keep bitching about. Even if I could become the smartest man for this game it could never suffice how this game also needs a certain threshold for luck to clear harder content. This game's honestly dumb.

Guys, I need help with choosing who to pull for. 5* characters I currently own: Luocha, Blade, Ratio, Welt E2, JingYuan, Yanqing, Clara, Himeko (yes, I lost every single 50:50, that's just my luck). My Pela, Tingyun, Herta, Sushang, Yukong are all E6, QQ is E3. I wanted to try going for Fu Xuan, Acheron and Aventurine but I'm afraid I'll end up with a bunch of 5* who don't work well together. Any advice?
Hey idk how ur progress is going but I think aventurine or fu xuan would be a great pick! Im also looking for a second sustain preservation and imo Fu xuan is more valuable in my case, she tanks dmg but her 15% crit rate buff is too good to pass up on top of the chunky build. As for Acheron, I see you have Loucha and Pela, so thats a great start in terms of debuffers. You can play 1 other nihility character if you have one to maxamize Acheron trace (if youve pulled for her)
You forgot Bailu has dmg mitigation and less ultimate energy need. Bailu is the only healer that CAN be used as good as a tank.

If you have a main damage dealer which is a skill-point sink then I would get Sparkle. If you don't then I'd consider Acheron/Aventurine but Sparkle is still a great pick-up
We will also get to see Acheron and Aventurine's official kit soon so you're in no rush, you might want to consider the fact that Acheron could synergise well with Sparkle

Aventurine is a sustain apparently, which means there's a chance Fu Xuan won't rerun alongside him as that would be bad for sales. Either way just go for the unit you like the most, personally going for Acheron, mostly because there has not been a single game Raiden hasn't been broken in

Id at least throw in Jingliu as a HM as a FP dps as in even when she drops off she'll be prb the best sup dsp for a long time because she is so SP friendly. Also ill alway disagree with Topass simply because her Damage isn't amazing and we are getting true Follow up support at some point not to mention some FuA characters don't even use her.

Take it as an advice, every new char is going to be very powerfull and broken at the same time in the future and yes this is what is happening in this game since now tho
you aren't missing out by not pulling a character at it's debut, don't fall into the FOMO trap. Choose the character you like the most, also if it helps, Raiden has been meta in every single hoyo game so I'd like to assume they'd give Acheron the same treatment

As for Acheron her kit goes completely against how the game works, we have more info on Acheron now and honestly she looks good. Very good numbers, a 3 turn rotation, there’s only some niche interactions that could change how good she is

Sparkle is best in a team with DHIL, QQ, Argenti, Dr. Ratio, Topaz, Yanqing, Jing Yuan and or Welt. Ruan Mei can be good in any team.

i think bronya is heavily overvalued due to majority of the time you have to be skill point funneling and not really spamming her advance forward
usually you have a skill point positive sustain that allows bronya to skill every turn. there are speed tuning things with her basic giving her a big speed bump and her e1 giving skill point refund that add some complexity. if you have her e1 skill point refund chance and her sig light cone skill refund then she gets a lot closer to skill point neutral while using skill every turn for the instant turn. with speed tuning it means your main dps is going about twice as many attacks while constantly buffed up massively. pretty insane.
@@victorb5 yea but sparkle resolves most of her downsides making it way more easier to do without any resets. e1 bronya is still a gamble.

In my opinion that is likely to be the outcome, I highly doubt they would completely bench a character and make another one better in all ways, but let's see.
