NEW Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra REVEALED

Samsung has just unveiled a trio of new handsets at its January Galaxy Unpacked event: The Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra.
The S24 and S24 Plus both come with LTPO displays for the first time, - offering variable 1-120Hz refresh rates - while the Plus also packs a QHD+ resolution.
Thanks to slimmer bezels, those displays are also slightly larger than last year: The S24 comes with a 6.2-inch display, up from 6.1-inches, while the Plus model gets a 6.7-inch display, up from 6.6-inches.
The standard S24 models both feature unibody aluminium frames, a trio of rear cameras: 50-megapixel main, 10-megapixel 3x telephoto and 12-megapixel ultrawide - they both use Samsung’s Exynos 2400 for Galaxy chip. And feature unibody alu
The Galaxy S24 Ultra, meanwhile, is Samsung’s new flagship handset. And, following in Apple’s footsteps, it’s Samsung’s first titanium-bodied handset.
It features a 6.8-inch QHD plus display. Unlike last year’s Ultra, the display is flat, rather than curved, offers up to 2,600nit peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Armor Glass - which Samsung claims offers 4x more scratch resistance.
The Ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip, a 5,000mAh battery and comes with a new S-Pen - although Samsung has been a little vague on the stylus’ details.
The S23 Ultra packs four rear-facing cameras: a 200-megapixel main camera, 10-megapixel 3x zoom, 50-megapixel 5x zoom and a 12-megapixel ultrawide. It also offers up to a 100x digital “space zoom”.
Samsung is going all-in on AI with this round of releases, bundling a number of new features under its new “Galaxy AI” umbrella. The S24 handsets make use of both on-device and cloud AI processing and offer neat new features including: new suggested edits for your photos, generative fill, object selection and AI-generated frame blending for slow-motion videos.
The phones can also live translate calls into 13 languages or transcribe and translate text into 35 languages. You can also use the AI assistant to help you write texts and emails - and it can even summarise web pages for you.
Pricing starts at £799 for the S24, £999 for the S24 Plus and £1,249 for the S24 Ultra. Preorders start today and devices are set to ship on January 31st.
