I throw my 7 year old 80 mph heaters and he is always like….”Dad, can you throw easy so I can hit them?” And I always tell him No. And I tell him when he’s good enough to hit the heater consistently in the 80s he will be better for it. I want him to dominate every AB and the only way that happens is to expect the most out of your kid. Btw, he routinely touches the ball when I throw it and sometimes even cracks it.
