Hi, i'm a new subscriber.
hope to learn a lot. by the way thank's.
Please can you tell us the dimensions of the goat 🐐 house 🏠.
have you considered creating ponds or lakes that would hold the excess water? Then goats can graze and fertilize the ground.
Yes we have a water dam at the farm.
That very good thanks for sharing knowledge !!!
I have question … so goats trust you when you zero graze?
Especially when they are skittish ?
Hey to everyone
Good evening to you!
How are you doing
Is it ok to raise goats using the intensive method of housing
Thanks for the advise on Zero grazing, just a question for clarity,do we keep them in the house forever, dont they have to stretch their legs outside within the farm? Matlhaba South Africa
Wow
Hello 👋
Hope you learnt one or two things from this episode. Stayed blessed
Hey value farm, have been following you for a while now, I would like to start my farm but would want to visit your farm first
Thank you so much.
You will definitely visit when we're officially open for farm visits. 😊
How much non grazing feed is required to feed the goats? how many acres of planted feed would you need for the goats? If yiu have 200, 300, 400 goats how many acres would be required?
You can acquire 4 to 5 acres if you have 300 goats
Wow! Good question.
Good question
Wow amazing job keep going no backa my dear
Thank you 😊
And the advice in this video can also apply and be relevant to zero grazing cows as well?
For dairy cows, yes ! If you raising cows for meat, it’s better for them to let them on pasture
Any information about permaculture
Greg can I schedule a time we discuss how you can get that water to percolate and reclaim it for productive use by regenerating clay to be very productive
Sure.. please contact us on the contacts in the description. Thanks 😊
Hi my land is also like yours. I have been discaranged to start because the land is swampy for goats . Owiny I would love to get some ideas as well
❤❤❤❤thank
Our pleasure 😊 🙏
Zero grazing is ideal because it allows the animals to fatten up and burn less energy and fat. But manpower is highly needed in harvesting, chopping and making hay/silage.
But I go for free range because the animals are exposed to sunlight that helps to eliminate ticks on their bodies.
Love from Nigeria.
Thank you so much for your thoughts 🙏
Free range is great too
Udeze Anthony - You invest one time on equipment and manpower equirement will be negligible. and investment on these equipment is worth. Zero grazing with automation and proper use of farm equipment is best for long time farmimg. I HAVE A COMPOSITE FARMING PROJECT in hand and looking for Investors. I am from India.. I find this Value Farm Video Awesome and very very encouraging with all details. Love from India for Team Value Farm.
I need a good breed male to enhance my local breed... preferably a boer
How much??
Good video
Thank you so much.
Pls what’s the size of land that can accommodate or house 200-300 goats
I know it is long time. But in another comment they said 4-5 acres for 300 goats
How many goats can be cared for per acre?
7 goats for grazing
Morning !I like very much you business but I don't understand english. How can you help me?
What u use to get rid of flee and ticks from sheep
We use duadeep spray for the sheep, goats and cows.
Is ti a wash or sòmething they can drink
@@ruthgordon8172 It's a solution that is poured into a spraying can and it's sprayed over the animals to eliminate insects on their body.
@@udezeanthony6491
Thanks for the information. Am ur brother from Nigeria, hope while spraying the animal with the solution it will not affect their eyes??
@@udezeanthony6491
And how often can we be spraying them
I FEED MY GOAT, CHICKS, FISH AND COW WITH MORINGA...
Wow that's great 👍
How many acres of moringa did you plant?
Guys I enjoy your content apart from it being very good, it also makes me laugh especially, the problems you have with criminals and employees. Stock theft is punished harshly here in South Africa but you still have quite a lot of thieves!
Thank you so much. Animal theft is very devastating especially when one invests in good breeds. Some of the herdsmen sell these animals just to get quick money. In Uganda we actually don't harsh punishment for stock theft, apart from one getting arrested by police but most cases nothing much happens. To avoid all that, Tight security at the farm is necessary.
Do you have a presence in Nigeria?
Not yet.
Hallo value farm
Hello 👋
Another disadvantage of free range is that your animals could enter someone else's farm and eat all his crops
True.. its not easy. Close monitoring is needed.
hello again, have you electrified your fence yet? cause you were asking for advice about your snake problems, trust me it will solve it, 🖐
Not yet.
Thanks for the piece of advice.
Be blessed 🙌 🙏
