Martham has St Mary’s, a medieval church dating back to the 14th century.
The River Thurne is at the far end of the village which connects Martham to the Norfolk Broads.
People metal detecting in the area , have found items dating back to Roman times.
Martham has lots of footpaths. Most of which, I occupied my self filming during lockdown. If you look in my Playlists for Martham, you will find them. I’ve added the link at the end of this video.

Today’s video is a tour of Reedham as this has been requested in the comments. I’ve been asked, to film the villages, where boats moor but you don’t get to see the whole village. So here we are. I’ve tried to include all the information I know.

My mother and I stayed in Martham on holiday earlier this year in a converted barn just behind the thatched fish and chip shop thought martham was a lovely village we also had a puncture on our car which the local garage sorted for us plus had a lovely takeaway from the Chinese restaurant on our last night 🙂

Lots and lots of holidays staying with my family who lived in Cedar Close. My aunt worked at the mushroom farm and helped with the Guides. In later life, playing indoor bowls and with the Church. The chip shop used to open very odd hours. Thanks for the tour.
Where the mushroom farm was , is now a housing estate. Lots of changes in Martham.
How long ago did you visit Martham?
@@NewnameSameme Yes I remember Broadlands Mushrooms closing down and the houses being built. I'm also aware of the two co-ops now you mention it. The last time I came to the village was about 3 or so years ago for my aunts' funeral.
New housing estate along Repps Road too.

Hi Lisa...what about doing a walk around the Waterways at Great Yarmouth....
I filmed them in the Summer from the open top bus when I stayed a couple of days In Great Yarmouth. It’s probably best filmed on a lovely summers day.
I plan to do another Yarmouth video though, possibly soon. Thank you for the great idea, I’ll include it for you at some point.

Yes it’s large now. Quite different to when I moved here aged 13
I'm curious about something Lisa. I see a lot of houses but precious few shops to support them. Certainly no supermarket or did I miss it?
You’re absolutely right. It’s just how it is out here in the stick’s. Nearest supermarket is Stalham or Caister. Tesco. You just get used to it.
Has the co-op closed?
There are 2 co ops in Martham now. One in the center of the village and the other is beside Cess Road.
I'd love to help with your petrol cost but I believe that you don't offer that option on your channel, yet?

I did start to add details in the write up of my videos as I was asked by someone else about a Christmas gift. Then I get embarrassed and stop adding it. It last appeared on the Reedham video where it’s sunny and the moorings are empty.
