He goes shin to shin! Peiera with that sneaky leg kick and jan with mammoth bones is the battle of leg kicks
Jan and Alex and zero telegraph coming from those kicks
@@abgta7286Jan telegraphs his kicks…
@@abgta7286you can legendary polish kicks from a mile away son
@@beaualoevvdoesnt seem to matter. He goes shin to shin and it does damage to the opponent.
We might have a great fight in our hands & be ready see sum leg break
He also checks leg kicks like a beast
Yea his leg kick attacks are insane but his defence is even better.. hate that they fighting each other this weekend .
Goodluck to both
He destroyed rakic knees with checks and his own kicks
Reyes still has cold sweats when watching this.
He checked like 17/18 leg kicks from Adesanya, and 16/16 from Rakic. Jan isn't super fast, but his checks are like lightning.
He was getting kicked on by alex
i was so surprised that Ankalaev didn’t get finished with leg kicks he was like Bambi at the end of this fight
MMA and mui thai are the combat sports that require the most toughness. I’ve boxed and it’s always so funny when boxers say that it’s the toughest combat sport lol the ignorance

Kicking a guy with ankle in his name In the ankles. Gotta love it.
You are a goof bud
He had to test the ankalaev name
There isn’t the word “ankle” in his name

@@Clebrowns12Chubb phonetically, yes it is. Go find a sense of humor.
Jan is an actual monster for repeatedly going shin to shin. You see a lot of fighters accidentally do this once and they stop throwing kicks. Jan does it intentionally over and over. This is what nightmares are made of
He’s conditioned them I guess
@@MohammadAliKhalil still extremely painful
being a muay thay champio probably helped
Nightmares is right. That type of "coming forward" and durability will scare even the toughest fighters
As a fighter, this is one of the few things that scares me lol. Shin on shin is one of the mist painful impacts. Feels like your leg is broken. Having dents in your shin after sparring is terribly painful.
Very underrated fighter.
How so he was champ.
@@RighAlban Under rated by the masses. IMO he deserves more accolades and recognition for how good he is.
He even did well against adesanya striking
@@RighAlban. Jan Błachowicz won the gold medal of the muay thai world championships. Class B. Błachowicz double KSW champion. He won the KSW tournament. He won three MMA fights in one night. @@polskikarabin87 I said he was champ, and asked why he's underated, I agree with you.
People say “it’s about damage!!”
But claim Jan lost these rounds lol 😂
Yeah, but it was still impressive how Magomed survived that fight without legs. I thinking like "no way Jan took his legs completely and gets beat up on the ground" ... I was fully convinced, that with this kind of damage to the legs, Magomed wouldnt be able to hold Jan down. But he really did some damage after his legs were destroyed. So I really think a "draw" was a good call here, although I only watched the fight live. I think Magomed had rounds 4 and 5 with a 10-8 round if I remember correctly. So how I remember it, that was a good call for a draw

No way, round 1 could’ve went either way
@@SmoshylifeSo what you’re saying is it could be 3,2 Jan, if round 1 is a pick'em 🤔
Rounds 1-3 are Jan’s pretty convincingly
But magomed scored a 10-8 round in round 5 since he held downs Jan for 4mins straight…
That’s how they got the draw
Which is accurate jan won more rounds but magomed DOMINATED round 5
Hopefully jan wins against Alex!
@@TrumpsaTerroristChangeMyMindhow round 1 was a convincing one mate? It's the closest round of the fight, could go either way
Rubbish. Magomed dominated and almost finished Jan in round 5. The draw was warranted.
So frustrating, a masterful crippling but unable to capitalise
A flawed masterpiece performance
Kind of, but it was originally a 3 rounder, which is what he prepared for. And he easily won those rounds
Alex destroyed his legs haha
Man, it's amazing how chaotic MMA is.
Didn’t he have like a huge bump lol
His checks are what impress me the most. He’s one of few fighters that really have a solid check and he hurts people with it
the bruise he made on reyes body
Man you could literally hear every single blow, he's a different beast. Those empty arena fights were something, I remember watching this fight and whole environment was so tense. I've never felt something like this during a fight.

@@TusharSharma-vy7boit was crazy man the title fight were tense. I remember you could hear gaethje breathing and grunting while hitting tony and then hear the impact of each shot like you were hitting the heavy bag full force. It gave the whole thing way more cruelty. Same with dustin vs hooker

Poatan so is legs of iron 😂😅
he’s even going for the shin. that man is a psycho
I heard the bones clatter. Hes crazy for sure but must have supremely conditioned legs
Before UFC , Jan fought for KSW belt in 2011. He lost by TKO, as after 2 rounds of receiving low kicks he was unable to get up from the stool. Seeing how he turned his weakness into advantage is just great.
This is the exact way my younger brother used to beat me in Mortal Kombat
Low kick low kick low kick
And there were clowns trying to argue Jan didn’t win this round😂😂😂😂
Yea he won one round. And total score is clearly 4:1 or 3:2 ankalaev. Robbery
Here after poatan destroyed his legs
Ankalaev is a beast, very underrated, his skill set and temperament in fights is amazing.
He's a master at checking leg kicks too
Alex vai matar o Ankalaev com chutes
Vai mesmo, se lutar igual lutou com o Jan tá ferrado, provavelmente no primeiro chute ele já vai ficar desesperado pra botar pra baixo 😂😂😂
Tony Ferguson does this too. Insane lmao
Ill forever say this, the polish are built different. The natural strength and grit they possess is unreal.
the fact chris lee gave this round to ankalaev is beyond me😭
Let's put some respect on Jan!! former 205 Champion, the first man to beat Genderbender, Beat Ankalaev & Hung in there with Alex
poatan don't feel the same
Jan is so underrated the only guy who almost broke Ankalaev and give the hardest fight for Pereira in light heavyweight division
It's a shame we won't see this fight again. Both fought well.
Jan wasn’t willing to trade low kicks with Alex though.
Listening to those bones clacking is nuts.
Both of their legs were hurting. Jan’s kickboxing has improved so much since he entered the ufc.
If you can't walk, you can't fight....

Por que ele nao fez isso com poatan ?? 😂😂
Alex Pereira vence fácil os dois só com shute
He'll definitely try to do that against Poatan, but he'll get hurt if he tries.
The amount of leg kick he can take is insane. Unbreakable shinbone 😂
Not in the Pereira fight he didn’t. There's always a harder wall, there's always a bigger fish.
Blachowicz stone legs can’t take alex’s kicks dude is literally made of stone🗿🗿😂
Closely look how alex throw leg kick u will see the difference
He went from Magomed Ankalev to Magomed "Ankleleft"
Jan is so well rounded as a fighter
Damage trumps all else in the MMA judging criteria.
Ankalaev took this damage for the first 3 rounds so badly that he switched gameplans and resorted to his wrestling for the 4th and 5th. He definitely shouldn't have won that fight nor should've acted like an entitled brat who was robbed after the draw.
“Resorted to wrestling” like it isn’t the toughest martial art. If your opponent can ragdoll you for 2 rounds straight- you didn’t cause enough damage.
@@mrannymus go and try to throw off over 200 pounds off of you. Good luck.
First round anka got more strikes than jan, last 2 round is 10-8 round.
Even jan thought he was loss and pointing at ankalaev before the judge gave the result
@@RosvStudios
Make me also 200 pounds and a professional mma fighter and former champion and I’m sure I’ll have a chance.
The point is the top comment doesn’t make sense. You can’t apparently take damage “badly” and then suddenly dominate.
@@keenanz9882 The judging criteria favors damage over volume. If you notice those first 3 rounds, Jan blocked a lot of strikes as well. Him being humble at the end didn't help his case but Ankalaev definitely didn't win either. A draw was fair.
Jan is the man
After the third leg kick in a row. The proper response after seeing his gloves drop knowing the next kick is coming is a jumping side kick to the jaw bone or a jumping right knee above that left hand. Either way he's a readable book
In his prime he was THE best leg kicker
Jan better be grappling cause Alex could take that kick all day
Contra o Poatam foi ao contrário..kkk
And he did that. Alex is already a legend!
@@nuwansampath7348 bro gassed out on the first round 😂
Poatan deixou registrado a marca dele de chutes no jan Blachowicz 🏹🔥👌🏻
They did those guys dirty. There should have been a champion. And now Jan has to go up against Alex. I want Yan to win just to show he's a deserving of it.
Ankalaev had both of his legs toasted lol.
Provou do próprio veneno contra Poatan.
Leg kicks are no joke.. its a good technique and strategy. Keeps your opponent from wanting to come forward and can have them moving backwards allot as well. Sets up other combo, fakes to either leg kick to head kick which is really effective or fake high kick to low kick and or a take down.. Blachowicz is a master at it.
It's amazing how fighters can even make it to the ufc without seemingly knowing what a leg check is
It’s amazing that random people on CZcams think they don’t know how to check obviously they do they are just fighting people with a better kicking game then they their check game
@@Lolzzz483 Exactly, the fighters who shine with their leg kick checks are just that much better when it comes to timing, reads, etc
I understand he was tired but if he had gone for the takedown in 4th or 5th he probably would have gotten rm down
He was never taking Ankalaev down
@@noelnoni7310 bro u gotta realise even if its the best wrestler in the world of ur legs are noodles I bet you can get taken down by a decent wrestler
Jan won that fight!
Ничего он там не выиграл, получал в партере, как щенок 🐕
He basically beat Rakic by checking and throwing leg kicks.
If this guy learns how to counter a leg kick like what happened to Silva he'd be the champ
Better be careful
He drops his right hand for that shin to shin, leaves him wide open for Alex nuke left hook
Poatan broke them
Nope jan threw the fight casual
I wonder why it took Ank four round before he figured it that he could just go to wrestling. Cost him a belt🤣
People who say Ankalaev won are on crack. You can give him one 10-8 round at most between 4 and 5 which makes it a clear draw, and if you don’t Jan clearly won
Peiera is a elite kickboxer
Irrelevant jan eats him if he tries he threw the fight
@@mixedmartialnutrition1746oh i see it he eat it very well 😅😂😂
Jan is the Gaethje of the LHW Division...!!
He destroyed Ankalaev imo,all Ankalaev did is laid on Jan cause he couldnt handle the beating anymore.
Ankalaev literally did no damage this fight and was basically crippled at the end
You can hear the pop from those kicks, absolutely brutal. Ankalaev is a tough dude too, he hung on
Imagine the soreness ankalaev must have felt the morning afterwards. 😂
Don’t underestimate the leg kicks
Just watch how Dominique Reyes got absolutely destroyed with those leg kicks, especially one body kick which literally made a permanent stamp on his spleen.
To all the people who says "he is only kicking his legs" take a look at how effective it is and if you still don't understand it let a kickboxer kick your leg only one time...
Different with Alex though. His kickboxing is elite level, checking kicks and sneaking some in is his trademark. Jan will end up like all of his opponents and that’s flat out cold, unless he wrestles. He don’t want that smoke Alex brings to a stand up fight
If I'm being honest with myself... I think Jan landing one clean low kick on me results in at least two days off work and the very real concern that the nerve has somehow exited my body.
Two crispy low kicks from Jan landed clean on me = Nerve pain and a bruise so deep that I assume it requires months of PT, so I decide to hit the urgent care in the hopes that the nurse tells me it's a "good thing I came because this is clearly a life-threatening injury" and how I'm obviously a "very strong and extremely cool guy who must be really tough"... But instead she tells me to ice it and to please avoid taking a bed and the doctors time from patients with actual medical emergencies.
This conclusion was drawn knowing I possess a pretty honest understanding of just how tough I really am.
Meanwhile, these boys out here playing "bang the bats together until someone dies".
EDIT - Regarding how exactly I've been able to piece together an honest assessment of my toughness, I'll elaborate:
I've trained with some legitimate monsters (a few of those boys at Team Elevation), and after assessing MY skills via some VERY light sparring...
*Ahem*... Those VERY same monsters chose to spar with me like I was some kind of a Make A Wish kid who won a rigged raffle because everyone around him decided he really needed a W.
Now... because of that, I like to think I have a fairly accurate understanding of where I stack up on the scale of tough-guy-ness.
You might be thinking "this comment is far too short and he didn't even tell us WHERE he RANKS!"
K. Fine. I will.
I believe that I fall just a hair ABOVE "that guy obviously knows how to fight, but boy... He is in terrible shape, huh?"-GUY...
And just slightly below "guy who's made the walk 3 times as a pro and has a record of 0-3, with one loss coming via head kick KO, one loss coming via mounted, one-armed guillotine, and one loss coming by way of doctor stoppage due to the fighters corner throwing in the towel".
So... Pretty hardcore.
You have to appreciate the technicality of Jan💯
It was so insane watching Ankalaiav take those leg kicks and not shoot a takedown for 3 rounds.
that left hook is gonna be coming in HOT
Bro was checking them as well
Ankalaev's shins just got +10 conditioning from this fight, if/when they heal...
Ankalaev got almost knowdown by kicks and people keep saying he won that fight😂😂
That sound of shin to shin clattering👀 😱
I still remember the mark he left on the fighter from Hesperia's ribs from one body kick
*"When your legs don't work like they used to before."*
He drops his guard every time
Bro I swear he was moaning about who won the fight😂😂😂
How many leg kicks does it take before you start to parry or dodge them ? This dude was asking for that shxt 😂
I still remember my first Muay Thai sparring session. Getting lightly kicked right above the back of my knee sent a shock through my leg it was insane
All his calf kicks hit with the bottom of his foot probably really helps keep him from pain
Bro out-ankled ankalaev😂
