Hey Joe :) Just wanted to drop a little "Thank you" here :) You're videos are by far the most informative online. Already the once you were creating for mill city roaster were top notch but the once you are making now are so well structured. Anybody who gets into roasting should definitely start their long journey right here with you! So thanks again Joe! You rock and help demystify the roasting process of coffee! :)

Hi Joe.. Thanks a ton for the videos. You are amazing.
I have a question. What do you suggest the charge quantity of green coffee beans should be in a 5kg roster? I have lot of roasters saying you should charge 60-80%, atleast 30% and few says u can charge even 20% provided you know how to manipulate the roast profile and understand the working of your machine.
I am eager to know your comments on the same.

It would be better to keep things simple... put it in a way that says, “If this is what your trying to accomplish, this is what I have found what works”. 95% of the wonderful information has no basis for roasting. It’s just facts of roasting for NO REASON. Give us a reason!
