- Tonight’s guest, Jaime Smith, grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and as a kid, he spent more time in the woods than you could shake a stick at. Spending so much time out there, the way he did, gave him a familiarity with the woods that made him very comfortable out there. Fast forward 30 years. Jaime services casinos, in the U.P. of Michigan and in Wisconsin, for a living. That means he’s required to spend untold hours driving down lonely country roads to get from casino to casino. Vic you're the best. I grew up in Michigan so I knew about the Dogman but never had any encounters. I used to hike and take naps under trees in the woods just because unlike here in Florida there were no dangers in the Great Lakes woods. Boy was I wrong I guess.
I'm a bit skittish about hiking alone after listening to all of these Dogman stories.
I live just outside of Nekoosa and know people who have seen them in this area as well. I also have a Bigfoot encounter not far from him and went Vic’s Bigfoot Encounter show to share the experience. Arm yourselves and be situationally aware when you are out in the woods is all I have to say!
Its always a good night when Vic puts out a video. I wonder what happened to the Bear Mountain guy live question session. Still want to hear back from him hopefully.

Vic I just want to thank you. I got stationed overseas in Japan for the Navy in 2021. My first October stationed here I got real homesick because back in my home state of Michigan every October they play “The Legend” on the radio in North Western Michigan which is about the Dogman and being in Japan they don’t play that over here lol. So I started searching stuff about Dogman and found your channel and have been a fan ever since. So Thank you for helping these good people who tell you their stories and thank you for helping a sailor get over his homesickness lol.
Yes, Cougars are in Arkansas too. There was one on my Mothers back porch one night. She used to put scraps out for the dogs. The cougars was kinda meow/growling. It sounded like puppys playing. We turned on the porch light and carport light on, and saw the Cougar. I guess it was looking for the scraps to eat.

So Crazy...I live in Shawano WI! Originally from Appleton , WI. Lived in WI my whole life so know the cities and GB area and "up North" well.
For anyone interested, Shawano is about 40-45 min Northwest of Green Bay off HWY 29.
Jaime mentioned his experience took place when he was about 45 minutes to an hour going west from Green Bay on HWY 54, so this incident might put him somewhere between Black Creek and Shiocton WI heading towards New London as he said he was going 55 mph.
(If he stayed at 55 mph, this would be near Black Creek, or between Black Creek and Shiocton appox. If he was going 65-70 mph He was probably closer to Shiocton or just passed through.
For reference, it takes me about 40-45 min to reach Shawano from Green Bay and I go about 70 mph, Shiocton is almost 28 miles South of Shawano as the crow flies so this is where I'm kinda getting the approximate area on HWY 54)...Interesting as Mack State Wildlife Area runs through HWY 54 between Black Creek and Shiocton.
HWY 54 is just lots of farmland, nothing but woods, farmland and country roads in all directions, spanning out for miles and miles until you hit a small town, that's WI for you! It's absolutely beautiful though, the lakes, rivers, cities, scenery, and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
I've driven on 54 before and gone through Black Creek countless times as a kid on HWY 47 going north as my Mom grew up near Shawano on a Belle Plaine farm and we'd visit a lot during the years with my Uncles who still lived there. Heavily wooded and desolate areas with some houses scattered with miles between. I'd look out my window into the dark woods and imagine what was out there..It was at the farm in Belle Plaine that my Uncle saw a Bigfoot in the backwoods when he was 17- (off Cloverleaf Lakes Rd) I love nature, I love the woods, I love the peace and tranquility I get from it, but after listening to everyone's experiences and getting to understand Dogmen exist, I'm not going looking for them, and I view the woods differently.

Wow, thats crazy. 45 min out of Green Bay on 54 puts you roughly at the town of Shiocton.......give or take. I know the area well and do quite a bit of driving in that area. Guess i need to keep an eye out. Thanks for the encounter. Never in my wildest dreams would i think of running into one out there. 😬🫣

Love your channel ! Out of many channels you were my first and still my favorite dogman channel ! So many other channels have so much drama or they will not let you believe differently then them ! I have always looked at all of this optimistically ! But to me no one has all the answers ! I’ve always respected they way you conducted your show with such professionalism ! Regardless of peoples beliefs ! Keep up the great work !

Thankx Vic & Jamie 4 sharin this crazy scary encounter. ❤my mother is a Michigander. Grandmother lived in UP by Hiawatha National Forest & have cousin in upper Wisconsin. It’s thick up there & plenty high strangeness w many sightings of DM & BF 2 . Only wish Vic would’ve asked him more bout the description of this DM ( like color of its fur & eyes ) otherwise always tuned in 4 an excellent upload ! 🎉
One of my mother’s fun memories in early 1900s was visiting her little cousins in Michigan on a farm, and picking blueberries. A bear showed up and started eating berries too and she and her cousin dropped their blueberry buckets and ran fast back to the house. He never chased them anyway; he was berry busy. 😄

I forgot to mention my daughter has a friend whose Grandma lives on the Menomonie Indian Reservation. Apparently her friend was playing in her Grandma's yard and saw a Dogman peek at her from behind a tree. She mentioned it had big pointed ears and was holding onto the tree peeking around at her. There's lots of room to roam for these creatures in WI!

I love the upper peninsula of MI and into Wisconsin. I wish I lived there. At night the woods are pitch black. You can't see your hand in front of your face. I had some creepy experiences up there myself, not dogman, but paranormal. I'll never forget it.
Jaime, I grew up visiting my grandmother and aunt in White Pine Michigan, and have been visiting the whole U.P. Since. I now own a small area near Munising and camp up there often. I have felt and heard some weird stuff! Thanks for sharing!

Last night I dreamed a dogman was chasing me home. I haven't even listened to an episode since last year. I woke up terrified. Anyway, here I am now.

Up outside Tomah towards hello a is my homestead. I knew those things were around swing how they saw a couple in Black River Falls a couple years ago. I believe one was on my road one night at 4AM . Never been so creeped out or had my hackles up more than then in the dark intersection going home on my motorcycle. It felt like one was breathing down my neck.
Hope one day we can get a non fuzzy dogman photo that's real.

I've lived in Wisconsin all my life. I had a cougar run across the road in front of me too. I have never seen a Dogman and I spend a lot of time outdoors. I haven't seen a wolf either and I know they are out there.
Im pretty sure i saw a small black cougar at LBL in KY. It was definitely a large breed of cat and mountain lions aren't all black i dont think....not sure. Now I have to go google it. But other people saw cougars here.
Can't imagine running into one of these creatures as im scared of big dogs😳

Those recreations he was speaking of drive me crazy . Especially the travel channel, they will spend a lot of money cgi an alien or spacecraft but when it comes to dogman and or Sasquatch they throw a guy in a rubber suit that looks so cheesy and terrible

Hello everybody ! I have question for the wider audience -everybody , is there any storyes where silver has been used in any way when dealing with dogman or sasquatch ? Like a silver bullet or smth shot at em and if it would be of any effect towards repelling them if needed? Ive heard of other creatures like vampires or some demonic suckas bein burned by silver when in contact with skin etc so thats why im thinkin that it may be practical to silver coat tips of arrows or maybe even a sword . Anyone heard some like that?
