- In this video I review the SecureIt Agile Model 52 gun safe and provide the pros and cons of it. This is overall an excellent safe and is perfect for anyone that doesn't want to spend a lot of money and who wants the ability to easily move the safe from home to home if you are planning on moving or from room to room if you maybe want to set up the safe in different parts of your home over time. I absolutely love this safe but it is not perfect and I highlight those imperfections in this video to better help you in your purchasing decisions.

The reason why it wobbles is because you missed the top louver of the barrel rest. There are two, the lower and upper and there are corresponding slots on the rest. That’s also why that screw isn’t doing anything.
I came here to say this. The cradles are actually very secure. Enough so that I don't even use the screws.
I'm glad you did this. This is the safe/storing option I'm looking into.
it's an excellent safe. I'm very happy with it.
Best review I've see thus far on this product. Well done young man.👍👍👍
thank you so much. I actually plan on doing an update video on this. Stay tuned!
I have an Agile 52 with 2 cradles installed. I had to loosen the screws first in order to push the cradles down fully into place. Completely tightening the screws after that allows the bungees to be used without the cradles lifting up.
Ya I tried that. I messed with it so much and it still lifts up. Maybe my model has some defect or something. I’ll try messing with it again. I’ll be making an updated video to this one showing how I ended up setting up the safe. Be sure to keep an eye out for it
Agreed, I own 4 Secure It cabinets and never had an issue. You need to tighten the screw in a little further than you might think.
@@lomberetactical1844 You didn't hook it up right. I had the same problem with it coming off as soon as I pulled on that bungee. You have to slide it in so both (there's) two slide ons in the back you only have the bottom on on and so it will come off. You put it in right it is solid. Took me a bit to figure it out
Great review! That safe looks nice. Great idea on bolting against the wall like how you've done. I recently picked up a Winchester 12-gun safe from Tractor Supply in Norco, CA 2 weeks ago. It does the job for me. Anyways, I'm looking forward to more videos. Cheers.
I really love this safe. I don't have a huge gun collection but so far, this safe holds everything I need with plenty more space for future pew pews. More videos coming soon. Thanks for the support!
Good review, and thanks for providing the links.
Thanks! I appreciate the support
Thanks for a thorough review. Everyone else is just skimming on it for obvious reasons but you did a real review. Subscribed!
amazing! thanks for the support!
I can't believe the price they're selling this for. They've essentially thrown a heavier door on an industrial storage cabinet. I don't doubt the merit / justification for a lighter weight storage option, but not at 2-3+ times the cost of a low end / budget safe.
Yeah your paying for the storage solutions inside. The cabinet itself is no more secure than an IKEA filing cabinet. It will keep young children out but even a smash and grab would open that in less than a minute.
Great idea with the led light, I ordered the same set. Thanks for the idea
Ya man, those lights still going strong.
Awesome video man!
thanks bro, I appreciate it!
Very well presented and articulated!!!
Gurrrrrrrrl👍🏽🇺🇸🤘🏽
appreciated! thank you!
Very nice review I was actually really interested in this safe because of the weight and room it has. Can’t wait for another update!
Phoenix _12 I got an update video coming on this. Just stay tuned.
Thank you for the review. I have the Answer and I haven't found the cradle is loose on mine, I'll go check again. My gripe is that I bought the base model and should have spent $75 more for the middle model which has way more accessories included. Mine came in at under 300# and was able to get it into my basement with one friend. Now bolted to the floor, it's not going anywhere. I'm happy with the bui9ld quality, though it is tough to move the lever to lock. Wonder if the bolts can be lubed?
I would love to get the answer one day. I need a bigger home first haha. Ya, having the accessories is a must. I'm looking to add some to mine soon...I was able to fix the cradle system. I had it attached incorrectly. Now it's solid like a rock. I'm very happy with SecureIt.
Helpful review. Smart idea with internal and external lighting solutions. Thanks for the vid!
Thanks. I noticed a lot of reviews on these cabinets don’t touch on some of the drawbacks that are present. So I thought it would be a good idea to point them out. Thanks for the support!
I have 3 firearms also , a rifle and two handguns and i dont know whether to choose this model or the 40😫, i plan to storage ammo but thats about it , any advice??
Just picked one of these up on Black Friday. Funny thing is the prices a year ago were cheaper than this years black friday sales. Inflation sucks. This is a temporary fix to a need to lock guns up now. Long term this will become an ammo/accessory cabinet and I'll pick up a Ft. Knox safe. Moving in the next year and don't feel like figuring out how to move a Ft. Knox safe lol
are there bolts on the hinge side of the door? If not, a battery dremel would easily slice that hinge and let you slip the door off I think
all safes can easily be broken into. So it's smart to not over pay for them.
Where did you find the clear bins?
This looks like a great option! I wish they had a non electronic keypad
You prefer a manual dial? Ya this is a great option. I highly recommend it.
Does it come with keys in case the keypad fails? Not a fan of them, anything electronic breaks.
Yes it does
Great point at 9:35 about a flaw
Pro tip to keep it from leaning forward:
Weigh it down with more super soakers haha 🤣😅
Yes good idea lol
Great review.. And very helpful. Thx
I’m glad it helped and thanks for the support!
I'm Cali too, you sold me :)
nice man, you can't go wrong with this. Let me know how you like it when you get it.
If it's a 9-volt battery, having the keypad illuminated would dominate that battery ruthlessly. The load of you opening it occasionally is nowhere near in the same ballpark as keeping a light on, even an led imo
Maybe but little lights don’t take too much energy. They should have designed it to light up is all I’m saying lol
Just curious, what are some of the challenges of being a gun owner in California v.s any other state? (I'm Canadian so our laws are restrictive AF, but was just curious as to the difference). Thanks for the video.
California is one of the worst states to be a gun owner in. We have the most restrictive laws and don’t have access to the same firearms the rest of the country has access to. It’s complete BS
It is very easy to accidentally run afoul of the law and unknowingly commit a felony. For example, putting a flash hider, or any muzzle device that reduces flash even the slightest amount, on certain semi automatic rifles, or ordering a threaded pistol barrel online. Or even lesser “crimes” like handing your buddy 20 rounds of target ammo at the range to take home.
Unfortunately, folks like myself have to be college educated to stay abreast of these confusing and convoluted laws, which makes these laws disproportionately affect poorer, under educated and underserved communities.
@@Libertarian_Neighbor damn right
More relevant to this video, there is a safe storage law in CA requiring firearms to be secured when not in use. Several other less restrictive states also have safe storage laws even if they have less restrictive gun laws.
Great video! Sold! I’m also in Cali.
Great to see another CA gun owner 🇺🇸💪🏼
@@lomberetactical1844 you bet! If you’re in LA or SoCal area let’s go shoot sometime!
@@traveling9389 I'm in Orange County. I plan on going to a competition shooting even soon. I can keep you posted.
@@lomberetactical1844 awesome! I’m in Long Beach.
The Cradle is not seated right in your video. You missed the upper louver. That is why it does not lock in. If you email or call SecureIt I can help you with any questions. Ask for Stephen.
What’s the actual quality difference between this cabinet and one of those gun cabinets on Amazon beside the customization? Thanks !
I Haven’t bought the generic ones from Amazon but they look low quality to me. This secureit safe is fantastic quality. Zero complaints on my end.
@@lomberetactical1844 I’ve been looking at multiple safes on Amazon and other places including secure it, stack on, etc. and it seem that a lot of them are actually the same quality. I was looking at one of those “generic” ones on Amazon With same measurements as this one and a 14 gauge thickness. This safe has an 18 gauge thickness which makes it thinner. I do like the customization and assemble/ disassemble on the shred it but I definitely think it’s a little high for what you get and the accessories are priced ridiculous but hey they gotta keep that money coming in.
@@metsnyc7797 in terms of security, they will all be around the same level as every safe can be broken into fairly quickly with the right tools. Let me know which safe you end up going with.
@@lomberetactical1844 That’s true! Thank you so much!!
Genuinely there isn't a difference, it's just got better organization options than options that cost 75 percent less lol
Thats a nice gun cabinet but I choose the Fortress cabinet because its half the price a bigger storage.
I wouldn’t go for the fortress but to each their own. How are u liking it?
@@lomberetactical1844 its perfect for my needs. Plenty of storage and modular. Added door organizer and light.
@@adaboy4z What door organizer did you get?
@@richardmartinez1628 Its from Academy.
Could they have made the plastic bins look any cheaper? "Poverty bin" - pew pew tactical
You can get whichever bins you like. I recommend purchasing them from Amazon or The Container Store
Nice review. I think it's a stretch however to call anything this lightweight a safe. It's really a gun cabinet, with an awesome organizing system. Something like this should be installed in a hidden location, since it won't withstand more than a few minutes' burglar attack with hand tools. Fine for keeping kids and nosy guests out.
true but the selling point for this cabinet is that it takes the same amount of time to cut into it as it does a regular gun safe. But yes, when my new home that I am purchasing, this will be installed in a gun room and will be much more secure.
KenDroid66 absolutely. I just moved and moving this was a breeze
@@lomberetactical1844 There is no way this is as easy to get into as a safe with 10 or 7 gauge steel. Sometimes 2 layers of the steel.
@@kyleduddleston4123 it’s a quality safe. Best for the money IMO. The issue with the conventional safes is that they have a lot of false advertisements and are really over priced. I will probably buy a conventional safe at some point but for now I am very happy with this one.
@@taylorsmith5259 I absolutely love this safe. I think it’s the best for the money. I never regretted this purchase and I don’t think you will either. I’ll be making an updated video on this safe once I mount it in my garage. Stay tuned.
You sound just like last line of defense. Thats crazy. Are you from Oregon or Washington? I'm not sure where hes from but maybe somewhere out there.
Ha No one has said that yet. I’m in California, behind enemy lines lol
@@lomberetactical1844 so thats a cali accent? He might be from that country too. Lol
I never viewed myself as having an accent but ya I guess so lol
Is there any update on the cradle issue? Great review!!
yes, I actually got it to work appropriately. I'll make an update on the safe showing this.
Instead of unscrewing the name plate for the key hole, you could have just used magnets to attach it on. Better idea, free idea, please use it.
Are those mags legal in Cali?
Laguna2013 yes because they were either bought, manufactured, or obtained during freedom week.
@@lomberetactical1844 uh huh
@@MATTP545 Murcia!
Falling over without mounting it is hilarious. That pretty much says it all!
Not for everyone bro. Just comes down to if you want to spend 5k or so or under 1k.
@@lomberetactical1844 there's a lot of amazing safes on the markets between the $450 and $700 range that do not have that issue.
@@Firearms101 the other issue is those gun safes don’t hold many firearms. They lie in the number of guns they hold and don’t have a good organizational system.
@@Firearms101 the system is designed for people who don’t want a standard gun safe though due to weight, moving, etc
@@steelers122133 lol make sense no safe designed SAFELY should be tipping over at any point. WOW!
Head up on sale on the 52
Ya they are having a pretty big sale right now. Probably worth buying
Is this fire and water resistant
No it’s not. But from my understanding, if a home ever catches on fire and u have to evacuate, the guns will rarely survive even if in a fireproof safe. So from my point of view, it doesn’t make too much sense to pay for a fire rated safe.
@@lomberetactical1844 good point
@@lomberetactical1844 thats where insurance comes in
@@justinmclean5778 that’s exactly right
No but it costs more than many safes that are fire and water resistant. Great product but price point makes it a silly choice
Those sides look really thin, can’t someone get inside that really quickly?
It takes about the same amount of time to cut into this gun cabinet as a standard gun safe.
@@lomberetactical1844 thank you for replying so fast. It just looks like you could open it up with a cutoff wheel in less than 1 minute.
Maybe you can but that would mean you could do the same with a standard gun safe. The gun safe industry is full of lies. The fact is that they can be broken into very quickly which Secureit shows on various CZcams videos. Check them out for yourself.
@@lomberetactical1844 ya gun safes are not the Fort Knox safes they think. Even those gigantic safes can be broke into with a crowbar (there’s plenty of videos showing rush). I have one but it’s more to make things a little more difficult in a smash and grab and for me the priory is child proofing reasons.
I hated living California and been gun owner in that state.
Ya it does suck. I’m looking to buy a vacay house in Texas and look forward to experiencing some true freedom.
If you have AR or AK’s with side or 45 degree offset mounted weapon lights you will not be able to fit 6 guns in this cabinet.
You can get by with maybe one tactical rifle with a weapon light if placed on the end of the row. I have several tactical rifles with sure fire weapon lights mounted on a 45 degree off set rail. The cabinet really needs to be 3 inches wider.
dingleberry011 good to know. I don’t have that many rifles but I will keep that in mind. U should message secure it about this recommendation.
Get the larger one
Are those made in China?
I believe so.
Jesus their shipping is painful
And that is on top of the already high price tag
Yeah plus you are paying double what it should cost on top of that.
I will never do business with them again!!!
This is a cabinet . Not a safe .
First it's not a safe at all, it's a gun locker and a wildly overpriced one at that. If they charged half of what they currently cost and marketed it as an organized locker it would be a decent cheap option if you don't car about security beyond just keeping kids and honest people out.
if you think this is over priced then I guess you are cool with the pricing of standard gun safes.
Understood regarding the weight of the door versus the rest of the safe, but this is pretty obvious and expected considering the internal mechanism, locking lugs etc. This applies to ALL safes. It is also a profoundly dumb idea to ever NOT bolt the safe down as it was made to be done, otherwise you could just cart it off to break into elsewhere. Temporary set up for apartment is a real issue many will have to deal with to be sure. The key pad were illuminated it would burn the battery down far faster and give away it's location. You can feel the numbers and know where you are on the pad. The whole point is to not give away where you are and your access to the safe, you should know where you are in your own house. I was trying not to be critical but thinking you sounded pretty ignorant to general reality, then you said you were in California and it all made sense.
No thanks
cool bruh
That voice tho lol
It’s golden
This is not a safe it’s a gun cabinet.
U r right but the differences between them are slim. A classic gun safe has a lot of false advertising and empty promises. This gun cabinet acts as a safe in many ways and offers similar security. The company is also truthful in their advertising. I highly recommend it.
@@lomberetactical1844 agreed. I don't believe in the hype of the Cabela's 30 gun safe.
@@lomberetactical1844 it’s like calling a tube of tofu a hotdog and I like tofu. Calling it a safe is about as dishonest as kthe safes companies garbage they are demonizing to sell their gun cabinet.
@@chrisreiser1499 haha, they are not calling it a safe. I am. The reason is because I personally just view it that way. Not trying to be dishonest at all.
Seems over priced for what your actually getting....a cheap storage locker with a nice modular system 🤔
haha, if this is over priced then what do you think about the standard gun safes? Steel that can easily be cut through on the side walls, dry wall, and carpet.
U crying too much
wut u mean
