You are going to love him even more if you check out the horrors they went through with their company, and the legal battles they had. And while the other 3 did their military service, he refused to go solo, but made sure The Rose was going to continue. He is very loyal, and they all have such a close bond.

I knew you'd love Jolly. They just dropped their new series. They rented an RV in Texas and are RVing East. Sampling Southern food all the way. The first episode they go to the largest supermarket they've ever been to. HEB plus. When I lived in Texas, I shopped there. My fav their homemade flour tortillas. They make them fresh in the store. When you pick up a pack, they're still warm. You have to open them up to eat a hot one in the store. I always had cheese handy to melt in it. They did a show of their top fav food they've ever tasted. The top of the list...sausage cream gravy on flaky buttered homemade biscuits. My fav too! So I'm not surprised they are visiting the south again. Their 2nd favorite Texas BBQ that melts in your mouth. So very tender!

Woosung has a fascinating back story. I am so happy he went the path he did because that would be a lose for us. His voice is amazing. I hope we get to see him on a future Suchita episode. Yoongi is the one who introduced him to me and I dove straight into the rabbit hole.

Thank you for this reaction, Roscoe! I was there for your first reaction to "Sorry" and it was most gratifying to see your enthusiasm. I discovered Woosung through Yoongi's "Snooze" (like most ARMYs, I think) and started watching them since. Their personalities are so engaging and the other three are quite a foil for Woosung's idgf impishness. There are a number of good interviews with them, most notably Zach Sang's. The story as Woosung related it is just the early part of their journey as a band and they had to deal with so much adversity before they finally got to a better place.

Hi Roscoe. This is the first time posting here. I know you like the Korean Englishmen but you do need to see some past episode with them collaborating with the likes of Ryan Reynolds, Chris Hemsworth, the cast from avengers, Son Heung-Min and the Tottenham team in the UK and even David Beckham and Lewis Hamilton and many many more. You will love it.

From what I understand, the suffix -i is a non-formal addition to people's names to express closeness in third person,. The suffix -ah is the vocative, so that is added when directly addressing the person. Great interview & the food looks yum :)

Hi from Québec. Sea urchins are quite common around the world. Therefore, not extremely expensive, prices are very similar to cold water oysters (0.50-1.50$ each). Japanese urchins are generally the black (exterior) version whereas eastern Canada have a green version. And their flavour is also very reminiscent of oysters (Briney, salty and velvety texture like an egg). You have to keep in mind that eating sea urchins, you are eating male and female gonads.😂
As for wagu...well. first and foremost wagu simply means beef. So saying beef wagu is as redundant as saying Chai (tea in Indian)tea.😂😂😂
Putting that aside, beef classification in the USA goes as follow (from best to worst):USDA Prime, USDA Choice, USDA Select, USDA Standard, USDA Commercial, USDA Utility, USDA Cutter, and USDA Canner.
Classification takes into account the age, size/yield (retail beef yield percent, the percentage of saleable meat as compared to the carcass weight.), the health and the breed.
Now knowing, the best USDA class of beef doesn't even reach the lowest class of wagu of which there are 5. 5 being the "best" but not the most flavourful (except for naturally lean parts/cuts of animal) as it's content of fat (marbling) reduces it's use. No sane person would ever eat a rib steak wagu 5 as it is done in the USA as the texture and taste is extremely reminiscent to steak and softened tallow.
This is why no where in japan will you find in restaurants or grocery stores wagu 5 thicker than 10mm (1cm/closer to 1/3 of an inch).
Pure wagu meat is only produced in Japan and sold internationally. Wagu produced elsewhere is not the same as it the resulting coupling between native breed with Japanese breed (DNA/insemination).
These "new" breeds will meet up to wagu 2 Japanese rating. Cattle in the USA and many other nations have difficulty to produce similar results because of the unwillingness to remove corn from their feed. NB USA agriculture is intertwined at an unhealthy level with 🌽.

I've had umi raw like in a sushi form before, and it is creamy tasting, with a light saltiness and seafood-type flavour, but very light and foamy like a very fluffy and light mousse and it literally melts in your mouth. It has a very delicate texture. As for your question about Woosung referring to his members' names with the "ie" at the end as in Dojoonie, Hajoonie and so on, it is kind of like an endearing way to call your close friends who are younger than you, or actually anyone who is younger than you. You can call them by their name, then add "ie" at the end to show your closeness to them or your fondness of them. It's a cute way to call someone younger than you. Woosung can do this, because he's the oldest member in the group, and the other 3 are younger than him. But it would be unusual for a younger person to call an older person the same way. Like if Woosung was older than me, it would be strange if I tried to call him Woosungie... it's generally not done, it just wouldn't work, language-wise and culture-wise.

    Who said uni was chewy?
Whoever described it as buttery, and like a mousse-like texture is closer. Very soft and delicate feel, you can pretty much "chew" it with your tongue but it really just melts. Also sea urchin IS uni, not umi. Unless umi exists and I don't know what that is

Sea urchin is a rich taste (buttery) plus salty plus sweet. Sort of butter * caviar plus sweetness. Only tasted a handful times. Where I used to live could but a tiny taster amount not too much. But generally uni is $$$
