- Valentina is Marvel Snap's latest card, and she can create some pretty crazy moments when played multiple times in a bounce deck!

Power Estimate: This deck had a strong 10-5 run for me on day one, which felt pretty good for an unoptimized list that's an off-meta build. Valentina felt relevant from time to time, but not especially powerful. As always, we'll need more data for both the deck and the card to really see where these land.

My favorite part when watching these videos is when he starts doing the math and casually dropping "okay yeah Angela gets +2 and then Spectrum adds 6 here so yeah I'm up like a billion" 😂

@@RegisKillbin try to slot Luke cage in this build,it reverts the 6 cost back to their original power and protects other buffed cards like hit monkey and collected for shadow king.

Am I the only one having this issue with the spotlight caches I think it's dumb that I'm getting a random series 4 or 5 card when I don't have either Blob or Valentina unlocked. On top of that the card I got for the random card was phoenix force, a card I already own In addition since I already own that card I had to trade it in for 1000 collector tokens. which is just a slap in the face when that card cost 6000 tokens for me to buy in the shop
All the pulls are random so you can pull the random 4 or 5 1st. Its the way its designed since day one.

You need to be prepared to pull 4 spotlights to guarantee you get the card you want. Last week I had 3 and missed white widow, this week I had one and got Val. It's just like that sometimes.

have you tried this deck adding luke cage somewhere? does it work?
Valentina might be my favorite interpretation of a character to a card.
She has the Shield tag of adding something to your hand, but because she works for Hydra. She also has the risk reward part of other hydra cards like Red Skull.
In terms of applying a character’s story to their card, I think it’s second to none.
I Iike this idea but with red guardian you gotta protect Collector asap with quinjet or snowy in the same lane. Thanks for bringing the monkey back!!
Does Valentina/Like Cage works?
If we use luke cage, then will the card have the actual power instead of still be 4/3 doom ?

Why are they not releasing cards into series 4 anymore? Valentina seems like a series 4 card, but she is artificially being bumped up to series 5. I understand they want to squeeze the fanbase but damn
I was so upset about that too but then I realised, before that change I could get every piece of content the game has to offer by just buying the season pass. I wish we could still have that back, but I don’t blame them not continuing on that route. I think Snap is one of the most generous card games out there, especially for players missing so many cards in their collection.
I am a happy player, moderate spender, and this season’s meta has been one of the best in my opinion. As long as they keep the game fun and balance cards regularly, I will keep being a happy player.

With Luke Cage you way avoid even the problem of that 3 less power
At the cost of putting Luke Cage in your deck, which only synergizes with one card. It's effectively a heavily conditional 3/7 needing combo, which is pretty awful
That Valentina noise keeps making me think I'm holding the shift key down too long and it's asking me if I want to turn on or off sticky keys in Windows, I hate it.
It would be fun if there added a card to Marvel snap that gave you a bonus if "all your cards cost 3 or less" or maybe for 4 or more

I'm a bit interested with Valentina and luke cage. But it couldn't be for bounce. It'd have to be Valentina and Luke for some other deck.

Loki is the most toxic card in snap. Its just so alienating when you’ve got your perfect final turns set up and then they just copy all your juice and then play it better because it’s all almost free

Why not Cage there ??
He only synergizes with Valentina, and nothing else in this deck. Cage + Valentina should be good, but only if you have a deck that already has a use for Cage.
Didn't really seem worth it. I was debating between Luke and Mysterio. Mysterio is effectively a 10 power card with Hit Monkey. Luke Cage is a 7 power card with Valentina, but only if you play the 6 cost, very rarely a 10 power if you play two.
So it was like a 2/10 vs 3/7.
I'm sure there are lists where Luke makes more sense, but extra costs are super prohibitive in this deck.
He says the deck has space to throw in some utility cards instead of more generation so you can easily slot in Hazmat and maybe Selene, though most of the time there is no point bouncing her
