This is my favorite album of his. Tame Impala has changed my life. I never thought I would become so enthralled in the work of a single person. Showing Tame Impala songs to my best friends and seeing them enjoy it gives me so much joy. I’ll be seeing him in concert in May for the first time. Much love to you and your dad.
Update : saw him in concert, and he put on an absolute show. the lights and lasers were breathtaking. if you ever get the chance to see him live, JUMP ON IT. i’ll remember it for the rest of my life.

I remember being in a record store and having headphones on listening to this for the first time. It was like listening to the Beatles, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin all rolled into one. I was so blown away.

Listening to Tame Impala - The less i know the better... On loop for my day's shift. Indie music has been my favorite genre as of late. Thanks to FIFA and their always amazing soundtracks. your dad damn what a good vision on the Keep on Lying it blowed me away when he said " he is just flying over the crowd and peaking down what is everybody saying"... cause it does feel in that way and i have never realized before... and I am really a fan of Kevin Parker work and all the members behind of Tame Impala because they do have some musics where its not only work of Kevin Parker...

Dude, the extra track on the album, Led Zeppelin (not including the b sides or rarities which I’m sure he would love too) would be awesome to see, especially since it is literally called Led Zeppelin and he loves classic rock. Absolutely love your channel since I discovered it a couple months back. Tame Impala changed my life and it’s mind blowing to see people’s genuine first reactions to the music we love. Cheers !!

Tame Impala isn't something I typically listen to, but it's hard to not have a good time when reactors are enjoying the music so much.
I would really like to listen to some live performances that showcase Tame Impala jamming out with the other musicians appearing with him on stage, because the abrupt track endings feel too abrupt.
Especially when songs are really in the groove, it feels like the bassist should be turning to the drummer and they should be feeding off that energy the other is radiating.
When a band is jamming together that's where the magic happens, but because Tame Impala records as a solo act we don't get that unspoken interplay between musicians.
Can't wait for next week's album. Any hints? 😉

Tame Impala always reminded me of a direction that Olivia Tremor Control could have gone with more access to synths and a little less Beatles influence. Have you heard their album Dusk at Cubist Castle?

Def suggest checking out the rest of the Australian Psych scene that Tame came from, it’s still going on, as well as the more global psych revival they partially inspired. Some ppl fall in love with elements of Tame shared by the scene but think all they’ll ever get of it is whatever Tame releases, so many great bands. Psych is where it’s at man.
