I see all the time these endless complaints from fans about established artists not using "authentic vintage gear" to re-create their original sound. Almost without exception when these artists want nothing to do with that old kit. They remember how horrible much of it was to deal with and only used it because that is that is what they had. If GN had access to the Virus 30 years ago he would have dumped the Moogs in a hearbeat, I guarantee it.
