Yup, I couldn’t deal with 4 phases of insta-kills and beefy amounts of HP I honestly should have played on Easy mode, shame we couldn’t switch it on and off like in XIII-2
I really like/think that Square does homages to past FF games with these cut scenes. For example, this is reminiscent of the final battle with Kefka in his angel form (many wings). Btw, the 'fall of Cocoon' reminds of Meteor falling on Midgar in FF7 :)
Thanks for this video, the game crashed in the middle of the cinematic, and I really did not want to have to go through the whole boss fight again. Fun ending for a game that needed sooo much more time in the oven.
I love this game so much, recently replayed this and that final cutscene still goes hard, and the music, I really wish they make a remake of this without all the time bullcrap and 13 days not being a mechanic or something, it makes the game shorter, I wanna play it with proper chapters, instead of visiting each area and figuring it out on your own. I kinda want it to be like ff7 rebirth’s open world.
Not the best ff, but I liked the 13rd trilogy. Especially lightning returns. Lightning has that something of a fallen paladin (loyal neutral) who find redemption in the end of Returns.
Thanks for this video. The sidequests are just so garbage in this game, there's nothing nearly well-written or interesting enough to justify all the endless backtracking, NPCs with schedules based on the time, the ridiculously grindy chocoboard gather enemy mat quests that put the most tedious MMO fetch quests to shame, I gave up on the game as soon as the ultimate dungeon spawned and I realized how much more combat I'd have to do just to see the story finish. Love 13 and 13-2 but this game wasn't it lol

A lot of Bhunivelzes attacks are from previous final bosses.
