Can we all agree that 5ds had the best: protagonist theme, protagonist, characters,plot,mechanics, soundtrack and just overall best backstorys in yugioh (my opinion)
Soundtrack, I'd say maybe. But eh, the rest is just straight up debatable. Yusei is a misunderstood character, but Judai is just one of the best protagonists there can be. The Mechanics would have to go to arc V, as it utilized every one of them equally. Backstories definitely go to Zexal, if had one of the most insane and masterpiecefully crafted Backstories and lore there was. As for the characters... Well, it's just a question of tastes at this point, each series has its own lovable cast. Yeah, 5D's great, but it's not like it overshadows every other series or anything

True I agree but if you understand the meaning of why they chose the song that you heard when Yusei drew Junk Synchron then you will know why. This song was more of a start of something new, a new summoning we never seen before but damn yeah this song is so good🌟🌟
Truly an amazing track. Thing is, while the version they ended up using is good. It was a down grade. In all actuality, the original really did fit much more with Yusei’s character. As he is a character that would find the smallest chance, and turn it into a reality. Really giving off that feeling of hope in a desperate situation of despair, surpassing the trials before him. Which is what he does do. In the least, they could have brought it back at certain points. Godwin would have been a great moment. Duel with Jack in the fortune cup. Would have been great with the ending of Zone’s duel. And would have been a great send off in the last duel. Ya know, for the absolute major duels they coulda brought it back.

The original S1 Fortune Cup Arc's (Ep 1 - 26) OST was amazing. Its honestly what sold me on the show. Its a shame that most of the tracks with that feel to it got replaced. Loved some of the songs when characters would talk in those episodes. Plus Aki and Jacks theme feel like they were made with the Fortune Cup OSTs style in mind and they match it. Now with it changed, they feel a very different compared to the rest of the OST that got updated.

Can I know if the last part wasn´t in there? or did it just looped back to the start?, the original song kinda sounds like it loops because the start repeats but it has changes afterwards is not a loop

Yep.
Was used for any Yusei battle before the Signer theme appeared. Afterwards it wasn’t used, but was never scrapped until the Zexal conversion.
