- This video was made as a metaphor for my anxiety, which is something that I've been dealing with for a while and especially lately. So I made this backrooms found footage as a way to visualize that and to express myself. This video takes place in level 188 of the backrooms , and is also based on a gmod map I made a while ago, gm_liminal_hotel

I can't believe this video does not have more likes than this. Backrooms creators like you deserve more credit than they have. This one video indefinitely took hours and hours to make and I hope people start to realise it takes to create an awesome video like this.
I've seen a lot of these Backrooms videos in recent weeks and I have to agree this is one of the most realistic. The guy *talks* about what he's seeing instead of just randomly coughing, calling out "hello," and muttering "what is this place?" under his breath.
It's also neat to consider how a person with no need for food or water or rest can hole up in a featureless room and have no idea if he's been in there for weeks. Makes the Backrooms feel a lot more surreal and dreamlike than elabourate CGI.
One detail I really like: Camera starts pointing down when he’s running. This is something that happens a lot when you’re running while holding a camera

The first time i seen kane pixel's found footage I was wondering why was the dude recording where he was going instead of fully dedicating his energy into running
@@suburbanshatters Because else there would be no found footage at all. Except this videos, the other ones are recorded by ASync researchers, it's their job to film. In pitfall you can feel that saving the camera is more important than saving a human life.

The reason the code was "lullaby of the leaves" is propably because that was the song that played and awakened the entities.

I really got goosebumps as I was watching your video. The concept of backrooms is in my opinion by far scarier than any unrealistic horror movie that just tries to jumpscare the shit outta people. This video is really a work of art, keep going!!

Since this is a video displaying your anxiety, this is VERY accurate. The feeling is indescribable, and this portrays this feeling perfectly! I struggle with the anxiety myself. Good video.

The feeling of being completely under seige is immense in that courtyard level. It is hard to imagine having to make NO movement, for however long, before feeling not so much safe as resigned enough to walk out. It's blue.
I like how EATEOT was used to this, especially lullaby of the leaves, it sounds like something id constantly hear in this level, considering ive always found it mysterious and uncomfortable

Loved that you superimposed your real arms and legs into some shots for that added bit of realism, and establishing that he’s been there for a while and has taken one of the rooms is also a cool narrative choice!

I like these style ones, this is how they’re meant to be, but so many kids have hijacked it and turned it into having jaunty music and cartoon characters talking like watching a kids tv show

One of the best backrooms I've seen. No jumpscares, audio was fantastic, as was the showing of hands and feet. Solid VO. Not many backrooms videos put a tingle up my spine, but this one had me genuinely on edge. Well done. Subbed.

Its an interesting concept that you dont get hungry or thirsty in the backrooms. the only way out is suicide or being killed by an entity, the only thing you need to watch over is your own sanity.

It’s been a while since i’ve found backroom content that’s so good. i love that our main character is talking to us and we get a glimpse of how they’re feeling. and lullaby of the leaves in the background just adds another layer of eeriness to it all, congratulations on a great piece !

This video is well done in so many ways. The realistic movement, representation of what would a normal human would think if they were alone on an endless empty spaces, this seriously gave me the fright. I was scared something might pop up, I hope to see more. That was also a great way to represent anxiety just as you mentioned, hated that Sadaku girl staring at the window.

I like that you include the fact that hunger and thirst don't affect you in the Backrooms, which makes the whole thing all the more dreadful. You could literally end up lost there forever until you go mad.

Beautifully done, and I love the old Al Bowlly song. He's my favorite dead boyfriend and big band jazz singer. It's rare to find him in pop culture. Al on the soundtrack makes this vivid evocation of anxiety, fear and loneliness oddly comforting....in a melancholy sort of way. Remember how Kubrick used him in the ballroom scene of "The Shining"? Reminds me of that. I hope you continue working with the Backrooms!

Wow i related to this person a lot and I felt really sad for them. I knew that voice...the slightly disassociated narrator with an inkling of tone indicating hope someone listening may care simply because it is an electronic device therefore another person might be on the other side. Interesting doors.

I love these! The only thing about most of these is the idea that someone would be running up/down, jumping, hiding and everything else while holding a camera the entire time is ridiculous. I'm holding a camera and I hear/see a creature, that camera is dropped and broken or whatever because I just turned into a track star.
