Being VERY new I have been moving many clips and images around and trying to find the best way to organize my files for my new CZcams channel. I was freaking out when VSDC said File Not Found. Now I understand. Thank you. Thank you for having audio instructions. This is a very clear concise explanation. But I am a slow learner and the music is very distracting to me, but maybe not others.
Alright, now I can actually use this program as my final editing software for youtube, as it's free, and it actually has a lot of features, unlike almost all other editing softwares, plus, it didn't even take that much space to download, so yeah! It's the best editing software in my opinion, and actually is free, so a small youtuber like me can actually make videos. Thank you (people who made) VSDC and your great software and tutorials! Essentially what you do is go to the "export" tab on the top portion of the software user interface. You can then change the title of the video in the lower right hand side of the screen as well as preview it and change it's file type. If you are satisfied, click the BIG RED "Export Project" button at the top of the screen. The time it takes for your video to be exported will depend on the video's size and quality.

Is it just possible to install 60 when exporting or will there be a quality loss? Or can I somehow transfer everything created in the "old" project (25 fps) in the created new "correct" (60 fps)? Redoing the project is somehow difficult (

but your video and audio may be out of sync, so we recommend keeping the original fps

Hi! What are the original video parameters? Are you using the Import content button to import your footage to VSDC? This is the best option to preserve the original settings
How do I export a video in small size but with quality 100% (the option in edit profile) or at least the original quality ? My video is only 1 minute and 38 seconds and I exported it to mp4 and it's is 1.68 GB. The unedited footage is 7:38 long but only 1.07 GB. I assume the quality will be lower if I set it any % except 100%

The size of the exported file depends on its bitrate. Please consult our tutorial - czcams.com/video/yGRXVXRTWz0/video.html
The program calculates mathematically it in a different way, it doesn’t display the original bitrate of the video that you can find in file’s properties.
The file size cannot be lower than the input one because while conversion VSDC encodes a new file.
If you want to keep good quality, you need to set high bitrate (quality value), but the higher bitrate is, the large file you get after export.
Also, you can set up the file size in the Profile settings, but it may potentially affect the output quality. (Edit profile --> Encoder mode --> Target file size --> File size --> OK )

I was told to click pack project instead of saving in order to save "input resources" or something but my video objects still eventually showed an error message that the source file had been deleted or moved. Do you have to click "save project as" then manually saved it somewhere or as a certain type of file to keep all your footage in tact? I'm not ready to export the project anywhere yet.. all I want to do is permanently save all my progress and avoid the error messages that mention having to link the video objects using the properties window.

If you encounter an error indicating that the editor cannot find a specific media file on your PC, it means that you have either deleted the media file from your PC or moved it to another folder. When using the "save project as" option, you are only saving the changes made to the project, such as editing, and not the media files themselves. Each time you open such a project, the editor searches for the media files on your PC.
To resolve this error, our support team has provided you with screenshots and instructions on how to re-import the missing files into the editor (this can be done, for example, through the Properties window). This will help you restore the files and specify the new path to their location on your PC. Additionally, we recommend using the "Pack project" option, which will save your project along with the media files. This means that even if you later delete or move the files on your PC, the editor will not lose them, as they will be saved within the project.
In other words, first re-add the files to the project, specifying the new path to their location, and then pack the project to avoid similar errors in the future.

@@VSDCFreeVideoEditor With the way the 8mm films were built, it has several clips spliced together that don't go together. I am in the process of clipping and rebuilding into family videos that is under different years or different categories. I may have figured it out. I've made several projects under different titles and opening them all. By doing so, I have them all listed under Projects Explorer. I've also renamed the Layers which are the individual clips and can move them between the Projects listed. If there is an easier way to do this, I would be interested.

Great video. I'm confused about something though, when I went to export my video it exported the audio, but not the video, so the audio was there, but the screen was black. Is there a setting that I am missing? Any help would be appreciated.

Ok. I sent an email with screen shots. I seem to only have the problem with that first project because I tried another video on and project and it worked perfectly fine.

That depends on the size of your file. Of course, the larger your file, the longer it takes to export it.

We wanted to provide some clarification regarding the autosave feature in our editor.
Autosave saves only the changes made within the project, not the actual media files themselves. If you delete or move the media files from your PC, or if they are stored in a cloud service and you lose internet connection, you may encounter an error when trying to open the project. This error occurs because the editor cannot find the files on your PC, and you will need to manually specify the new path.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and recommend regularly backing up your media files to avoid such issues. Additionally, please ensure that all necessary media files are available locally or in a stable cloud storage location before opening your project.

Yes, it does show up, in the title bar of the player (I use VLC) and in first few seconds after starting the clip. It forces me to create new projects for each file! 😒
Hello, VSDC doesn't include file titles in exported videos. The title you see is actually being displayed by your media player. To resolve this, we recommend accessing your media player's settings and disabling the display of file names.

If the option to display the file name is enabled in the player, VSDC cannot influence it. As for exporting files without a name, Windows does not permit this.

If you prefer not to have the project title displayed, you can remove it in the properties window (prnt.sc/dO22bQmQXVZh). However, please note that this change won't affect how the file name is displayed in VLC.

I create videos for CZcams and learned that VSDC had the capability to resize the video. I will post a link to one of your previous videos showing how to do this. The latest version ( I do subscribe for the Pro version ) is slightly different in the configuration screens. An updated video would be greatly appreciated. My GOD!.. I just lost a whole video even if I selected it to save every 5 mins.. I was exporting the project and all of a sudden it froze! I waited and even did control alt delete and nothing.. Not sure if it was my PC or VSDC but I think it was VSDC.. I had to shut off my pc manually and start back up.. Got into VSDC and the title to my video is no where! If it is saving my work within the editor every 5 mins why wasn't it there when I came back???

2) Log in to your CZcams account.
3) Click on the video icon at the top right hand side of the window, which can be found next to your user icon, messages, apps, and notifications.
4) Click 'Upload Video. ...
5) Then, press 'select files to upload' to find the video file saved on your computer.

Why when I save is it saving as an extension of the VSDC program? I want to save it as an mp4 file or avi but every time i convert and save it just does this nonsense and takes me back to the VSDC program. My computer doesn't recognise the files, why?

Playing export file with project name with extension at the screen looks bad.
Hello, the editor does not leave the project name or watermark on the video after export. Could you please let us know which media player you are using, and if there is an option enabled in the player to display the file name during playback?

You can not export with the free version. 2021. You have to have the pro-version.

Hello Kiddo Tubo. Just click "Continue" on the pop-up hardware acceleration banner, and your video will be exported for free - just without hardware acceleration (in other words, slower)
