I think I'm going to have to pick this up. I've never used wireless charging in the past, but the idea of just setting my phone on a pad at night and not having to struggle to plug it in sounds amazing. Great vid as usual!

I have this charger and I think it's mostly good but you do have to pay attention to the placement of the device to make the connection is good. Great video!

How does it hold up to charging a phone with a heavy duty case... such as an Otterbox?

I've read several different forums that the fan only turns on if you are "fast wireless" charging. Does the fan turn on during regular wireless charging? Will be using for iPhone X

I think the best place for wireless chargers are cars. Especially if we can have wireless CarPlay or Android Auto but even now. That's still a big problem are the coils needed in the phone are usually right in the center of the back of the phone so it you just lay it down quick before bed and its not aligned, you'll wake up with a no charged phone, plugging it in still has it benefits. Its nice to have but def not something most people care about especially if your have to buy the charger separately

Hound Life Vlogs when got the fist think i notice was how exzagurated the streach to the fingerprint sensor was. my had landed nicely on it and 89% of the time i never touched the camera by accident.
Ive been using iPhones since the 5. I just switched to galaxy S8 for the first time. I gotta say, I do miss my iPhone 7 alot. I don't hate the S8 but I don't love it either. only thing I enjoy is the display, and fast charging. besides that, I don't see any reason why I should keep the S8. I miss the iPhone apps optimization, and stability and speed. coming from the iPhone 7 (which is faster and more optimized) I can tell and feel how slow this phone is, which I can't stand.
I like the idea of wireless charging. Especially if it got more advanced.
Just imagine that you wouldn't need any wire anymore just some bulky thing to plug into your wall socket and it will automatically wirelessly charge the phones/tablets/watches
Apple will surely have that in year 2020!

No they will first had the regular 5W speed super slow but it's wireless and in 2024 they will have then the fast charge 7.5W lol

I would rather wait for the iPhone 8, from the rumors I've been hearing it will be a great phone. the Galaxy S8 doesn't have a lot to offer except the infinity display. this phone feels like the S7 with less bezels lol

i about spit my milk out when you said 89 bucks for a charger.
I'm getting one soon for free as part of my note 8 and even if I won't like the charging speed it still includes another charger and that's cool enough to me cause those things are more than 20 bucks for a fast charger.
Its a good review but It would be nicer if there was some numbers like output tension/current to work with, and perhaps a comparison to wired charging rates using Google Play store Ampere app.I feel like wireless charging is not really well explored by tec bloggers/youtubers, it's an exciting tec that soon will be standard especially with apple joining QI consortium, probably indicating that smartphones and wires are soon to be breaking off that long lasting relationship, i know we are not quite there yet but it would be nice to follow closely what soon will become.

In it's current state I think wireless charging is only convenient in applications like how they're built into tables in Starbucks , if everywhere adopted that it'd be great but as a daily replacement for a cable it's still a bit lacklustre
