I'd advise those new to his music to start with "Joy of a Toy" and "Whatevershebringswesing". What happened to Kevin? Well, like his brilliant description of Syd Barrett and Jimi Hendrix he too, in terms of his talent, was a "comet" that was "too bright to live". But, unlike Syd and Jimi he is still with us, and even though he had a long period in the doldrums (between the late 70s and the early 90s) he can never be written off.
