Awesome video! I tried doing this on my own before watching and it didn't dawn on me that the existing bulb had to be removed so I was like what did I do wrong. Instructions were great!
It looks like the stock fixture aimed the light to the sides a little not toward center of vehicle. I think with a replacement LED in the stock fixture the back up camera may have less glare. Thanks for the video, I think I'll be avoiding this type because of this. I'll just pop in new bulbs sometime.
@@Connortaustin so you must get lens flare/glare after the flat-LED swap then ? it looked like it would cause this. I think it will try it too before the weekend is done.
@@Connortaustin So do they work well for seeing stuff in a parking lot at night when backing up ? people and cars and post, ect ? keep the vids coming !

I am going to be trying out LED bulbs as well just to see as a comparison to see differences!

I have personally not noticed it yet, they are just very bright and portray light 5-6 feet behind the car which is not what I am really looking for

@@g.fortin3228 Yes! With them being extremely bright, they work very well at night with seeing what is behind you!
Are your rear 4runner emblems a dark gray color? I think it looks better than black on black
They are black
What year is this 4runner
2021
Why?
Switching all lights to LED makes things look a lot better
