One can also use wheat flour or rice flour. Wheat flour is thicker and heavier tasting than rice flour and corn starch. Rice is good for gluten sensitive people. Also, if you get lumps, use an immersion blender to smooth out. His suggestion to strain it is excellent. Thanks for sharing.
I came here cos I have a craving for hot, vanilla, home-made pudding! haha. My mother would always make it for us and serve it warm when we were kids. I might surprise her tonight and make it for us.
That would be awesome!
Just made this, yum! Thanks :)
Glad you liked it!!
Butterscotch! So yummy.
Agree!
Looks great.
Thanks :)
Thanks for this recipe. I’ll have to make it. Rice pudding is my fave ♥️
Awesome, enjoy :)
Love this video. My favorite pudding is butterscotch.
Thank you, I love that kind too! Video soon :)
My all time favorite pudding is tapioca with the egg whites whipped in.
Yum! I have that recipe on my channel :)
I really like the peanut butter that you made and I happen to have tons of peanut butter that was given to me so I'm definitely going to try this and the the vanilla pudding that looks so good I got to give that a try and I'll let you know how it turns out when I do make it all right take care
Thank you, enjoy!
Chocolate pudding is by far my favorite kind. 😋
Good choice! I will make it soon :)
Jenny can cook for chocolate pudding recipe!💪🏻
Looks lumpy even after straining!😂✌🏻
MOUSSE! Have you done that one yet? I shall look through you videos. A top desert in my opinion. Great video! Thank you. Will be adding coconut to it to create a coconut cream pie from scratch. Tried mousse but didn't work well, thinking your pudding receipt shall work perfectly.
Thanks for your comment! I would love to make mousse. And this works amazing for coconut cream pie! :)
My favorite pudding is banana and French vanilla.
Great choices! I wish there were a way to make banana pudding with real bananas without it being chunky or discoloured; so far it only seems to work using banana extract (still tastes amazing!)
Could kefir be used instead of milk ?
Tapioca, hands down.
Good one!
Make a vid for peanut butter pudding.vanilla chocolate and butterscotch are great
I’ve had a few requests for peanut butter; I will work on it :)
Should I add more cornstarch to thick a pudding? Mine got very liquid
Mine was also very liquidy I think we should have cooked it longer
I love banana pudding but I mean vanilla pudding in a dish with cookies and banana and fresh whipped cream
Love that too!
Can the yolks go in with the milk at the beginnig of cook time?
Yes they can but whisk lots. They are more prone to curdling this way but it is possible :)
pistachio since back home what we do more, I am sure they use to use favouring liquid
I am going to try it! :)
I like banana pudding
Me too!
Can it be made without eggs?
Yes :)
what can eggs be replaced with?
It looks delicious but I hate separating yolks and whites... Usually I don't know how to use whites(
It can be a challenge!
Tapioca is the best pudding!
It’s darn good!
Well, in the wee hours last night, I made this. Actually it appears after sitting in the fridge for roughly 7 hours, I made cold vanilla soup
So sorry to hear that. That amount of cornstarch is normally plenty for thickening.
@@ICookAndPaint I'll live, it's pretty tasty soup.
Pistachio pudding please
Yes! 👍
Nice videos on the whole! I think you could get paid for narrating &/or vocal acting tbh! You should look into that as a viable side hustle imho.
What a nice compliment, thank you :)
Banana
is running.
Idk if it's the brand of sugar im using but I find this recipe too sweet. I mean if you think about it the sugar's probably only less than 10% of the entire recipe. But for those who want less sweeter, try just putting half the sugar first and add a bit more as you go along.
Sorry to hear it’s too sweet, though thankful for your valuable feedback :)
It's just not very good in my opinion. I think you should have put the vanilla in while it was on the stove or before. when you put it in afterwards in my opinion it just tasted like you're eating vanilla extract. before anyone says I did measure it with measuring spoons.
I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it. Usually vanilla is added at the end because it is heat sensitive when boiled and the flavour can cook away.
This is not pudding. This is custard. Pudding does not have eggs!
Pudding can have eggs
