- What's that? A winning streak for the St. Louis Cardinals? We were ready to pronounce them dead but after winning 3 games in a row can we really do that yet? How can the Cardinals return to contention in 2024? Will Paul Goldschmidt or Nolan Arenado ever look like themselves again? Is the bullpen being overworked? Are Sonny Gray's best days behind him? The rest of the bats are starting to carry their weight so things are looking much better for St. Louis. Can they sweep the Angels and keep it up?

To follow up on my over reliance post. I mean in terms of usage they rely on it and dont use it as a tool that it is. In Detroit analytics showed their pitchers throw mostly fastballs not off speed. But the entire series they would not swing at the offspeed over the plate. And sit for the fastball that rarely came. I guess when I say over reliance i mean they dont go ok it shows he throws fastballs ok look out of that. And when game day happens if your not getting the fastballs you thought they would throw. Adapt but they dont. And I know im over simplifing this as im not well in that field but Cards dont adapt when analytics change in the game. But I probably am just stating Over reliance wrong. Thanks Josh for correcting my verbage.
