Pravin is known for his fusion of hindustani, carnatic, western and jazz music fusion compositions. Indian ragas are presented in contemporary formats. He is the first Indian to perform on the contrabass flute. Trained in the kirana gharana gayaki ang, he is adept also in tantrakari styles of classical music.
This channel will not only bring forth new compositions through unique videos featuring his vast collections of flutes but also will be a channel dedicated to train students in the art of bansuri or the bamboo flute.

Maybe because of my small knowledge into classical music and flute , but respected sir and readers I want to ask that in deshkar is there a tivra swara of madhyam coming or not because I know that madhyam is varjit and sir has been seen taking madhyan tivra as well..
I am sorry to ask in this way but it is a humble request that someone clear the doubt ..
He is just playing the Pancham meend by the Pancham hole so a little of bit of tivra madhyam is heard
He's not playing madhyam. There's an extra hole under his thumb called Pancham hole. He's using that hole to play Pancham meend.
