Experience
Guests are recruited as test pilots for Batman's newest prototype urban patrol vehicle at Wayne Tech headquarters. They then board a robotically controlled flying Batwing and join Batman in the skies above Gotham City to defeat The Joker.
Flight
The ride takes guests on a high-speed journey through the dark skies of Gotham City, featuring climbs, drops, spins, and rolls.

It was a nice surprise to hear Kevin Conroy's voice as Batman again...
A decent blend between Spider-Man and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, paired with the Batman theme, this doesn't feel like a copy, it feels very original despite using established mechanics. Very cool.

Yea it feels like a bit like Spider-man, Transformers and the swinging feels like harry potter ride. It's a shame all we get are coasters with Six Flags...

With the switch from animation to practical sets it reminds me more of The Amazing Spider-Man Ride at Islands of Adventure
It's called the KUKA arm.
Makes me excited for the universal monsters ride cause harry potter was unnecessarily scary as fuck especially the forbidden forest and dementors.

That was SERIOUSLY impressive! Warner Bros World keeps cranking out some good stuff. Not a huge fan of screens, BUT if they’re done RIGHT, like this, go for it! This is pretty seamless! 💜

Well, the properties that could be used would be limited because most DC properties are under the general public’s radar. Batman and Superman, sure. Wonder Woman, Flash and Teen Titans maybe. But beyond that is hazy. Would people line up for a Hawkman drop tower or Green Lantern simulator ride? It would be cool for comics fans (imagine a haunted house that is literally The House of Mystery), but it would be a hard sell to most people.

They used old footage from the original Movie World Batman (Returns) ride too. You can clearly see Burton’s Gotham City at the start.
If You wanted a sneak at Monsters Unchained for Epic Universe...this system is closer than Fj...it'll have minimal screen scenes..Haptic/Air fx in r.v seats..
Bro this is actually impressive, a great successor to Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (first Kuka Robotic Arm ride) while feeling like its own thing. More parks should try this ride system out

You’re supposed to experience it with 3d glasses on so it doesn’t look as good on video
You can see the screen corners in most of the transitions and there's SO many screens
In Spider-Man (Universal) the transitions from screens to sets are so clean. Here you just swap to a screen and are in a completely different perspective (like the Joker foundry fight. You see Joker in front of you, the vehicle turns to the right and somehow you’re on the opposite side of him). Small things that add up to make you feel like you’re just on a ride watching screens.

These are the cheapest lamest rides ever. You sit in a chair and look at a screen and there’s a fan that blows wind in your face. It worked for soaring over California, but then these theme parks started to lean too much into them. The simpsons ride at universal is one of the worst things I ever stood in line for. They took out of the practical King Kong set piece and replaced it with a tube tv screen where King Kong fights a T-Rex. It’s all so soulless, so cheap and so disappointing. I get it tho, it just about money, it’s always been about money and it’ll always be about money, and tv screens are cheap and easy and the cattle will continue to pay and line up to sit in a chair and look at a screen.
Roller coasters are always much fun then screens right
@@Mydreamworld19 or even a simple ride like Peter Pan where you sit in a seat and you’re taken through a bunch of real set pieces, each with their own atmosphere that gives you the illusion that you’re physically in the story. There’s nothing exciting about the Peter Pan ride, but it absolutely destroys every single tv screen ride.
