I love how you just took the time to appreciate Beethoven
Twenty One Panics! at the Fall Out Dragons username is awesome
Me too
My mans exposed them by accident
Juan Jimenez lol it’s not exactly the same but REALLY REALLY close
Josh Sanderson thanks
there is one thing I like the most about you, it’s the fact you’re not only listening to a song and saying : yeaah it’s cool or not. But you try to understand the meaning of the lyrics, you share it with us and you focus on what other people won’t do. Thank you!!
Cynthia Pierre exactly! That’s why I love his channel
Exactly! My favorite reaction channel
He really is the best at the reactions for twenty one pilots honestly
thats how we get down in the third family!
Cynthia Pierre agreed, we need to protect this man at all costs
The stopping to appreciate Beethoven is a perfect example for why I watch Ernest over most other rap reaction channels
I like how you analyzed the “how could he go if he’s got everything, I’ll mourn for a kid but won’t cry for a king.” So true. I’ve seen people think the quotation marks end after “everything”, and that Tyler says that he himself won’t cry for a king. That’s completely wrong, and contradicts the entire song in a twisted way. Just something I noticed :)
hey fellow thorns fan!!!
WASSUP!!!
yes! provably the most powerful line in the song for sure
TheThirdErnest yeah provably 😏
KAITLYN COLLISON I thought that Tyler was saying he wouldn’t cry for someone who killed themself for attention
"They would host and post a celebration" is actually a reference to the Chester Bennington tribute show. Twenty One Pilots and Linkin Park are my two favorite artists ever.
tyler is always telling us a story and giving us hope and positivity, even in songs like this. these songs can literally save lives, cause there are so much emotions in it that we feel it too. There's a song called Truce where he literally says 'stay alive for me' and that hits me every time.
ps: in the future, please don't make the mistake to watch Heavydirtysoul, Jumpsuit, Nico and the Niners or Levitate alone. These are songs that tell the same story (one single music video in 4 songs) and you must watch them in the same video for the whole experience.
thats going to be a tall order lol ill probably make them all together but upload separately in order
As crazy as it is I give this band mad props for what they’ve done to me. Their music has straight up saved my life. And I wish they knew..I thank them so much
Man, I cry every time i listen to this. "Promise me this, if i lose to myself, you wont mourn a day, and you'll move on to someone else" and "to life they were dedicated, now that should be celebrated" get me every time
Also I’m not sure if you’ve done a reaction to Kitchen Sink, but it is super deep and amazing and I would love to see a reaction of it. You won’t have much time though, because the album it’s from is being taken down by Warner Music. React while you can! You don’t wanna miss it, trust me.
Hey! I recognise you from the pop song professor's 'Tøp song in 6 words' video.👋
Saumya Pande well whaddaya know. Wassup 👋
Saumya Pande I also hope you know this comment made me smile way too much for this lol
@@kaitlyncollison6908 have a good day! 😄
Saumya Pande u too 😁
I remember when I first heard this song I wrote my dad a letter telling him how amazing he is. All my grandparents are passed, but luckily my dad is an incredible person and he deserves to be told so on a more consistent basis.
Just another reason to love Tøp....
An interpretation by Ernest.. an Ernterpretation. That is what is needed friend. This helps the music. Thank you. 👍
"I'll mourn for a kid, but won't cry for a king" - one of my absolute favorite lines, but the take you have on it is so interesting. I took it to mean that he would mourn the person behind the mask people see, he mourns the person, not the image. I really like the way you interpreted that line.
Ruby is a very underrated song by them and i highly recommend it, it’s probably one of if not my favorite song from them
“YOU’RE AN ANGEL!”
Matthew Forstner you mean, “YOURE AN ASIAAAAAAAAANNNNNN!!!!”
That one is so lovely :))
i'm still sad they don't have regional at best on spotify so i can listen to ruby on end!
Bruh, I thought I was the only who thought Neon Gravestones sounded like Moonlight Sonata. Thank you for pointing this out lmao
Also would recommend TØP Fall Away Live ft. Dr. Blum (the live video from like 6 years ago.)
Such a bad ass performance... not too many reactions out there for it..(good ones anyway)
YES!!!
This live >>>>>
That was my favorite moment from my latest TOP concert! Never thought I’d get to see that live!!
@@angiehh516 Honestly though! I never thought I'd get to hear it live with Dr.Blum. It was definitely the highlight for me of the Bandito Tour.
I love Holding On To You. Fairly Local is fun. Both of those have official videos. You could do a series of Heavy Dirty Soul, Jumpsuit, Levitate, Nico and the Niners....they all tell a story about the world of Dema.
I am so happy that TØP is your first video coming back. But I really hope everything is going ok with you, your brother, and family.
thank you so much and everything is as normal as it can be other than the computer in his ribs lol thank you for thinking of us!
I opened this vid, put my phone aside and started designing my villa for a school project while listening to your reaction. You are dope. You get the messages before Tyler could explain it to you. And you appreciate him. And that's why I appreciate you
designing a villa??? architecture school?? my favorite architects are Daniel Libeskind and tao ando...two completely different styles lol
oh and renzo piano lol
@@TheThirdErnest haha Renzo Piano's Parco della Musica is amazing, I would want to experience that.
I admire Jeanne Gang and Frank Lloyd Wright, but I'm surrounded by the works of Jacob van Rijs, Rem Koolhaas and Ben van Berkel :)
It's your area of interest as well, isn't it? I think you just became more awesome
I think it’s fair to say you’re the best reactor out there. All the other reactors I’ve watched usually just bop their head to the beat of a meaningful song not even listening to what it’s about. The way you analyse the lyrics of their songs is actually really amazing and your channel definitely deserves more attention as this is what a reaction channel should be like.
I love the way you think out of the box bc there are some lyrics I never heard and never thought about and you make me think. I love you and your videos, keep on with twenty one pilots they are the best
The way you interpret and dissect songs lyrics is one of my favorite things to listen to bro
I want to thank you for opening my eyes about "ill mourn for a kind but wont cry for a king". I really thought that was tyler's opinion. But when you pointed that it was actually what the people are saying, I looked up in the genius lyrics and realised it was part of the quotation. For so long, i have thought that tyler was angry at chester so he refused to offer his condolences publicly. Now i know he didnt say that and I could cry. Thank you so much.
Two of my faves from Trench are Morph and Cut my Lip. I think you’d like them both.
Also, Heavy Dirty Soul and then the continuation MV of Jumpsuit would be so great.
Morph is my favorite song of them because I found the thought process in the lyrics so cool and for someone, whos first language isn't english, it helped a lot that they're pretty much on the surface. I always liked 21 pilots but never really got into analyzing the deeper meaning of the lyrics (besides morph because it's so obvious) and the whole dema universe because looking them up and translating isn't worth the effort for most songs played by the radio (imo). The fact that not only do they produce multigenre music which is viable to mainstream WHILST preserving their unique, creative style WHILST being a band consisting of only two people BUT have such lyrical genius on top just blows my mind. Josh and Tyler have to be one of my, if not the all time fav artists. Really hope Ernest checks out Morph, the lyrics are just too great :D
My man just straight vibed to Beethoven. You find new ways to impress me every day bro.
That was awesome I love the way you analyze songs. Next tøp song should be Taxi Cab, or Addict With a Pen. For a tip on how to analyze these, think of it from a Christian perspective.
KAITLYN COLLISON addict with a pen would be great
Your channel is my number one react channel! I love your tøp videos. Unlike other channels that review them probably just to get views from their rising fandom, you actually analyze their lyrics and listen to the song. You can still appreciate the vibe of it and the instrumentals but you give real insight and I appreciate it. You deserve more subscribers for sure
while I do appreciate the subs from a huge diehard fanbase, im not gonna water down videos just to pump them out...just not the style of the channel and would get called out! yall deserve the best!
@@TheThirdErnest And it definitely shows ! 🙂 Your intellect and comprehension alone makes you stand out from the crowd.
Also, SUPER pumped about this channel!!! Been waiting for some more TOP as well. Best reactions on YT.
I love when people react to not only the sound of the song but also the lyrics ESPECIALLY when it comes to twenty one pilots songs. their deep lyrics often go unheard because of the upbeat melody (besides this song of course).
I was actually binge-watching your Twenty One Pilots reactions tonight (among a few others) and refresh to randomly see this one - a pleasant surprise! Really been enjoying watching you react and how you dig into and interpret everything in all of their songs.
I like it how people understands tøp songs 😍😍
Love the analysis of the lyrics. Good video to come back with! "I'll mourn for a kid but won't cry for a king" one of my favorite lines in this song. And as you said, that moonlight sonata melody is wonderful
I really like how deep you go into all the lyrics and dissect their meanings. Thats why I like your channel. You go way further into the lyrics than most song critics. Excellent video man. Very impressed.
Without lyrics music would be nothing! Thanks!
DUDE I NEVER EVEN REALIZED THE MOONLIGHT SONATA THAT'S CARZY
This song always hits home to me. I've been suffering for nearly 10 years with depression but I'm at that point now after a long battle like Tyler says 'they won't get them' . It will not win I need to control it not it control me. These boys are fire
Bro I have a newborn daughter at home, 5 days old... I was trying to calm her the other day and because of this video I put on Beethoven... The look on her face when those high keys came in was the first time I could recognize like pleasure... She wasn't smiling but clearly was enjoying it... Next thing I knew my other kids had come in the room and no cap put their phones down 🤯🤯🤯, imagine in a roundabout way you got a teenager, 11yr old, and 8yr old to turn screens off and listen to Beethoven...
I think the biggest difference in this song compared to many of their other deep songs is that the metaphors are stripped back. This isn't a song Tyler wanted his audience to interpret any old way--- it's a clear message that he didn't want to be misinterpreted.
I've never really listened to TOP but this song is amazing. Hot damn 🔥 I'm about to go listen to the instrumental.
This shit makes me cry everytime at the end lol 😭
yesssssss I'm so happy.
That intro HYPED ME UP! haha
Won't you squrr dance with me?
I love how you find the meaning in songs not just the beat. I also love that we don’t have to explain or get annoyed about the reactor not understanding the meaning put into music. Definitely subbing
Have to cry every time I hear this song.
This song always makes me emotional and i love the way u talked about it
One of the most in depth, well articulated reactions I've heard. Keep it up man. Love the content. Keep up the TOP reactions and song break downs!
I'm of two minds on this song. It's definitely the deepest and hardest-hitting message on the entire album, but it might be my least favorite track musically on the album (other than maybe Leave the City). Not that I think it's bad or anything, but it doesn't grab me the way the rest of the album does. Still, great track to analyze and an important message to get out.
P.S. react to Doubt it's slept on
For me it’s the complete opposite, but I’m a fan of slower songs. Leave The City, Neon Gravestone and Bandito are my favorites of the album because musically they just speak to me
magnum_cx I agree! To me nothing compares to when Tyler sings that in Trench he’s not alone when looking at the faces looking at him. Leave the City is slept on tbh
Tiffani Wright leave the city is my favorite song but yeah it’s so slept on
Killer intro.
I knew you called it before you knew.
Another great reaction, welcome back!
I really like the way you analyze lyrics, and you totally have some musical knowledge as well. Really liking this channel more and more with every video. Next tøp song should be Morph.
You pulled out Moonlight Sonata movement 1 and got a sub. Nice. It’s one of my favorite pieces of all time and I noted the similarity my first time too. ❤
I'm so happy I found you in this "reacting world on CZcams" , you and a few others actually get it. Yes I'm a misanthrope. But I want! to see the good side of ppl. Wonderful reaction. Hugs.
Appreciate that! Trying to rise to the top of the reaction world ain’t easy! Lol
I’m watching your video for the first time! Last night my kids were in the other room playing the keyboard and they started buying what I thought was Neon Gravestones! So are yelled from the other room “NEON GRAVESTONES!” And yelled back “ No, Beethoven!’
I’ve never heard anyone else say that! You caught right away! That’s Awesome!!!
One more thing, you are amazing!
Best channel I've found in a long time. You're killin it Ernest 🔥🔥🔥
Seeing someone being so hyped about Bethoween makes me a classical pianist very happy lol
Now this is my favorite reaction channel. I get to understand the song better.
Please do ALL their songs!!! You are so good at figuring out Tylers lyrics!
omg yEs i love that you recognized the moonshine sonata and took the time to compare! we stan thorough listeners👏
I really appreciate your channel and how you go about these songs and really understanding and talking about the meaning. Love it. I just wanted to say you are the first person I have seen who got the lyric "I'll mourn for a kid but won't cry for a kid" in the same way I hear it. I see a lot of people agreeing with it but I always thought he meant it with irony. Anyway keep it up good job man.
I’ve been waiting for this since you started doing these videos. This was beautiful.
nf and twenty one pilots are so good at singing deep, meaningful things and the songs are amazing
Love your channel! Also very grateful that you introduced me to Lupe and Nate Bargatze.
I love this video so much!! I love that you not only listen to the music, but talk about the lyrics as well. Thank you!
Glad to see you're back. Much love
You crushed it with this one homie! They are such gifted artists.
The one dislike is from the guy with the leaf blower
YES YES YES YES
Ive been watching for awhile man and I just barely subbed. Really love the content and how in depth you go into your vids. Much love! You've got these bones!
Best reaction channel. no joke. I love your analysis of the songs. You always nail them!
This is one of my favorite songs by them. So beautiful and I love that you are so good at analyzing lyrics and understanding the message. I relate to this song so much and it means a lot to me.
Please react to this in the BBC Live Lounge. It's so much more emotional and conveys the message even better
Great video! I love all your comments on this song. It’s a powerful song and just another reason why I love this band
Glad to have you back! Hope you and your family are doing well. Sending prayers and positive thoughts.
dude. I got goosebumps. I've adored this song since it came out, but listening to you decipher it -- well, to quote you, "that was dope!"
Listening to Neon Gravestones live is such an experience, it was my favorite part of the concert.
From my favorite band to appreciating one of my favorite pieces from one of my favorite composers played on another channel i watch. Brava to you sir.
Your ability to instantly pick apart both the musical and lyrical references/meanings is amazing.
Damn this dude, I think I just found my new favorite channel
Always been my favorite song from them!
Welcome back man🙏
Bro your videos get so much better over time!
You know I loved your reaction! This song is fantastic on the album and live.
This is one of my favorite Twenty One Pilots reactions, ugh just for so many reasons.
play isle of flightless birds
I knew I recognized the piano part from somewhere, thank you for saying it's moonlight sonata, saved me years
Movement 3 is my favourite out all all of them, so good
Oh bro... speak out of my mind ❤
love you ❤
man your reactions are DOPE thank you for helping us understand things that we may have left, i don't usually subscribe to channels like this but you deserve, THIS IS A REACTION
You just said everything I needed to hear
Great catch man, Love you!
Ya man...such a good message encased in a great melody.
You're amazingly astute! I love your reactions.
Your vids are always on point 🤙
Your "walk on stage moments" are mad😂 much love
Just joined the family, so glad you finally did this song
Missed your reactions, welcome back!
dope reaction, keep up the great work.
Find a live version of this one. It’s breathtaking. Another stellar reaction. Great work, sir.
I was justing watching this again( I actually watch your reactions more than once), and that's actually a really good intro
yeah i noticed when i first heard it like i was like wow it sounds like bethoven's moonlight sonata
Brooooo we've missed you man. I was hype when I saw this reaction! Opinions on point man. Keep pushing, gold man. Gold.
Recently found your channel, and what you are doing is what I missed from most react channels, you actually talk, try to figure out stuff, compare things etc, and not have the videos be like 30 sec longer than original. Some good stuff I have seen so far, keep it going!
I love your reactions.
Was not expecting Rousseau on another channel. Just started following them for their amazing calming effect
My 1st experience of Moonlight Sonata was when I was 10y and my Music teacher played on piano and I burst into tears ,my 10y old self had never heard such beautiful music. I love classical since then. Nice that you picked up on that.
Same. Then I heard it on Alicia Keyes songs in a minor intro and had a whole new appreciation for it!
