i was never there / wicked games studio quality version remake attempt with transition (and a bit of improvisation; tried adding some electric guitar stuff lol it isn't too clean and i don't have any technical knowledge cuz i don't play any instruments or anything, but first try i guess lol). unfortunately this edit was particularly hard as i couldn't find the exact synth/brass that was used in the tour version and had to settle for an alternative. hope y'all still enjoy it. this is the second remake from the weeknd's after hours til dawn tour. more to come soon. xo

Naaah! I just made a remake too on my acc. I think I got the synth better but you made the whole song while i focused on the last part

DUDE your synth is so accurate! amazing work man. I tried so hard to find a preset for the synth I literally tried every plugin lol but couldn't get the right sound lol. please do tell me what plugin you used for the synth I'd really appreciate it!
My filter cutoff is slightly higher now tho
i had to use a free kontakt plugin. it allows me to use two different instrument bases and play them together. so i used one analog synth and the other from a bell for the reduced sustain duration. so if i increased my cutoff the bell sounds would be too prominent hence i kept it slightly to the lower side.

why is the voice lowered for the wicked games part tho?
it's because the live version was performed by the weeknd himself at a lower key than the actual studio version to match the key of "i was never there"
