Aight...as a die hard (not crazy and understand its just basketball) Knick fan for 35+ years, I agree with a lot y'all said but some points that y'all made were missing some details. "Could Mathurin have made a difference in the series?" Possibly. So could Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, and Bojan Bogdanovic. Not to mention our All-Defensive player in OG for the latter half of the series. And as far as getting up 101 shots, that was a product of Indy's pace. The Knick defense was just good and the Pacers had some indecisiveness at times. 2nd and 3rd chances helped, like yall said, and not only did they allow it, but they enabled it thinking they would run NY out the gym. Haha these dudes play 40+ minutes a night. Thibs finally giving them rest mid-game helped them keep up with the Pacers pace.
