Sometimes Gemini lies
As a journalist writing for several agencies, the most Gemini Advanced can do is to be ChatGPt's assistant. I can never trust Gemini to write anything with the level of professionalism ChatGPT possesses.
Same case here. I've been using ChatGPT 4 since its release. I also have Gemini Advanced. And let me tell you something: I really panic when I exhaust my prompt cap for GPT because I have observed Gemini is way unreliable. By the way, I am a freelancer writer and also a student enrolled in two degrees. Therefore, you can imagine I use AI tools A LOT. But the more I have used them, the more I have come to discover that Gemini is waaay behind ChatGPT 4.

Gemini advance is like ChatGPT 4 a year ago.
And the worst thing about Gemini is that is super stubborn and has too much “ security regulations “
And definitely Gemini S** Reading pdf always get the answer “ I can’t access to your private drive “
I lost interest in gemini because of the inconsistencies, an example being the issue you mentioned.

How are you able to let Gemini access your drive? I get this when I ask it to access any file on my drive:
" I cannot access or modify any personal documents stored in your Google Drive, including Gmail messages and Docs files.
I cannot directly integrate with these platforms to work on existing documents within them."
Go to Setting -> Extensions -> Enable Google Workspace.

The most annoying thing with Gemini is, that it can not remember the training you gave it, even in the same chat. It only retains memory for a very short period of time. I don't have advance, so maybe this is different with paying the premium for it? Can someone answer, whether Gemini Advanced, can, alike ChatGPT, remember the entire conversation in a chat?

You sure about that? Try on a different device because it sounds fine even at 50% volume on my iPhone.
Fact is that google have their own database for live or present data. Which is most advantage of google as GPT just train their BOTS with data so both are useful for some reason. Like google Gemini can't make videos. see the OpenAI Sora.
I don't gave anywhere near the features you do nor are the responses as good for Gemini advanced
gemini advanced is so mediocre for code that I returned it, it really needs a lot of improvement for code

There is no training cutoff for ChatGPT plus

Can't wait for companies to replace programmers and accrue huge debts because of mistakes like this.
