Nigeria you see today is made of more 30 nations of different languages and cultures before Europeans came to African. A Nigerian man from south west of nigeria has nothing in common with Bamileke or Tikar man from Cameroon only thing they have i common is that they share thesame black skin . And before colonization these people have not cross path. Maybe you need start reading more of African pre colonial history from african scholars and look at the physical evidence on ground. Nigeria tribes you see today are not even the same people before European came to African.

The percieved Naija-Cameroonian rivalry is mere storm in a teacup...its pointless, over hyped & sadly entrenched despite they both have loads in common.
Granted, the dispute on the oil rich Bakassi peninsula was once a flashpoint, but it has otherwise been a healthy rivalry (who plays the best soccer, whose women are more beautiful etc.)
Moreover Im proud of the bond between us Nigerians & Cameroonians here in the US.
