No traction control, rain, single rear wheel: "I think this guy wants to RACE!"
5 seconds later: "wow how did that happen?"
Hint- The rainsuit hood goes up inside your helmet. Otherwise it acts like a funnel down your back.
GaryLordsWayMinistry i guess not huh
You know what, I ride in Seattle and I can't guarantee I would have thought to put the hood inside my helmet. Just being honest.
@Jim Alley maybe you the dumb one, ever considered that
@Jim Alley owner of Chick-fil-A is a very religious man and he's a millionaire.. for someone has smart as you what you been doing?
@Jim Alley why ar ex you on every comment making fun of us people who believe in god?? I don't say much bad to anyone but your a straight jealous piece of shit bro have a nice day and like I said before that's why we believers are very wealth and prosperous is because of God so you keep not believing and you stay miserable I don't care but take your idiot comments somewhere else 👌🖕
Hey brother I just wanted to say I'm a pretty new born again christian (about 2 years) your videos are a breath of fresh air for me. I ride motorcycles as well and have a great interest in the buying and selling of them as a hobby. I have been watching your videos for about six months. Your channels is one of the few on here without cursing, or mindless hoarding. God bless you brother and the business you do. We do everything for the glory of god.
AMEN.
So about two years ago, you must have found some PROOF "god" exists then?
Care to share it?
Top Tip: They sell one piece rainsuits that actually keep you dry in the rain.
Doesn't really work
@@ScoobyShotU yes it does I have one and my wife has one.
Yeah but that is too easy
you can sit in water with Frog Togs rain gear and stay dry,,i have done it on a kawasaki that had a dished seat,,pouring rain, felt like i was wet,,but rode 50 miles and stayed bone dry
It’s called a house.
Dude I rented one of those for a day in Orlando FL once. When we (my wife and I) were going to return it this lightning storm came out of nowhere and it started downpoaring. I was like okay 1st, no traction, 2nd, no traction, 3rd, 4th, 5th gear has to have traction I told myself. No, I literally could not accellerate even in 5th. So, I went 30mph in a 50 until I got back to return the Slingshot. I didn't drive it anymore in the rain pahaha. It was one of the most terrifying things. And I was freezing LOL! I really enjoyed watching this because pretty much the same thing happened to me!!!!
Haha that’s awesome. And yeah exactly no traction anytime
"Cold wet dangerous" you know my ex wife???
S Carlson 😂😂😂
I rented one in Hawaii and got caught in the rain, it sucked.
@@mechanicjobs You rented this man's ex-wife in Hawaii?
@@TheGamingGeek2001 ha ha, no I rented the slingshot.
@@TheGamingGeek2001 that's why she's the ex !!
Hey brother, when you gotta go you gotta go. I remember riding a tiny Harley Davidson Iron 883 100 miles in a downpour, in the middle of the night. The iron was matte black, it was 50 degrees, and I'm 6'2 245lbs... Boy was that a booty cheek clenching death ride through bat country. I made it there fine and dandy soaked to the bone, no wrecks, no hydro.
Now, on the way home a few days later... it starts raining again. :)
Blind 90 curve caught me at 40 in the rain. I made the decision to take it straight off the road rather than risk bailing in the street. All I could think was "it's better to keep it straight up offroad than to lean it in the lane." No idea how I kept it up, but I kept working the throttle like a mudrunner in some poor souls front yard until I pulled it back up on the road and kept on driving. I can only imagine what the person living there thought if they saw me run into their yard on a Harley in a storm. I'm thankful every day that it wasn't a barbed wire fence into a cow pasture, It would have cut me in half.
Second paragraph is 🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢
I really appreciate all your videos. I'm a born again Christian from Australia and its hard to find good clean content on youtube on things I enjoy. Keep up the good work and run that race. God bless you
i dont get the slingshot thing but one day i was getting gas and a old guy pulled up in one i asked him why he had it he said he rode bike for years and he had a stroke and lost his balance so if your 73 years old and had a stroke god bless you and enjoy a slingshot oh and BTW they have a Chevy cobalt motor in them
It’s just a fun cheap car great for beating around and being stupid
@@BikesandBeards i live in east ohio this summer a group of us are planning to ride out and check out your shop unless you guys dont like loafers around
It’s very much a Chevy engine fr the Cobalt. Believe it or not, it’s one of Chevy’s reliable engines.
A Hayabusa powered version would be fun.
18wheels4life facts!!! I had a cobalt with 200,000 miles!! Ended up getting rid of it because it started having transmission probs
Just bought my first bike and found your channel in the same week. God is smiling down upon me. Love the vids guys!
Hey thanks you very much what kind of bike did you buy
@@BikesandBeards I got a 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 LT with a little over 15,000 miles on it. So pumped can't wait for spring!

Sean I have been watching your vids for along time and I'm so happy at how Blessed you have been. As I have told you before, I couldn't imagine having a cooler business. And it's the amazing videos and honesty that has helped your success grow. Praying for your continued success. I am team Sheetz as well 😂
Thank you, that means a lot to us! God bless!
I love all of your videos. Thanks for the words of wisdom in your daily uploads.
Thanks for finally giving me an explanation of why people consider these things to be motorcycles. I’ve never bought it. You don’t ride them. You drive them. You sit inside in a seat and use a steering wheel. That’s not a motorcycle!
this video cheered me up, considering how bummed i was learning you already sold that orange ninja 650 :( glad you made it back
Impressive background my man. Keep pressing, I have a feeling you are going to be doing really well for a long time to come. I really wish your dealership was near me, I would order a slingshot from you in a heartbeat.
You guys need a TV show I started watching and was hooked 4hours later 2am I'm still watching I can't sleep and this is such a great watch nice one guys you have helped me with many great topics thank you 👌👍
this video made me laugh so much. like "he looked completely miserable from the rain and the cold" then the pop up saying, "he wasn't miserable, its just how he looks" hahah
They should have done a modification that includes bilge pumps 😂
Lots of good Beard Tips, including those differing definitions. Haha! Excellent production on this. All the footage from the Slingshot, the Van and Caleb in Lancaster on the same timeline is clutch AF! Keep up the great work!
Thank you, and we will
I been watching the channel about 6 months I'm just remembering to subscribe I enjoy watching your videos awesome job
It was fun meeting you today and chatting Sean. Can't wait to do business with you.
Yeah you too swing by again for sure always excited to meet another Believing rider
Thank you my prayers are with y’all
Been watching you guys for a few weeks now - the other channel for a while. Keep up the good wort(from Australia) 👍
Rain-X is great, but you have to keep applying it. If you have scratches or want something that lasts longer, use rubbing compound. Make sure the the visor is warmed by sunlight. It should apply easier and evenly.
I can't believe that three adult males who are in the motorcycle business, would go anywhere, or not think of bringing jumper cables, a jump start box, engine oil, coolant, fix-a-flat, duct tape, and tools.
It also blows my mind haha
Because they don't buy junk 90 percent of the time you'd think going to a harley dealership to buy a nearly new slingshot you would need anything at all 👌
@Jim Alley the lord will provide so keep your hate and beliefs to yourself if you want to mock keep your comments to yourself or just go watch another channel and maybe that's why he's rich and has a dealership and you don't bro 👌🖕
As an electrician ive showed up without cable . still got the job done ..... LOL😂😂
thanks for making this list! screenshotted(:
I have rode in lots of rain with no problem. But then again. I never turn off the traction control
I’ve rifen my R6 “that was stolen, bye” and also the bike handled great.
That central back wheel is always in the slickest part of the road, especially in the rain.
Brings back memories of winter riding my motorbike back from Uni at night. No thanks. Quite happy with a car, staying warm and dry.
Oh man. What a crazy drive! I’d definitely have trailered it. The iPhone X is water-resistant. It’s advertised as waterproof for up to 30 minutes.
*PHILIPPIANS 4:13 IS MY FAVORITE VERSE. I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME. AMEN BROTHERS*

I also drove mine home in the rain when I bought it. It was fun tho cause it was new. I still drive it in the rain. Love it.
Very entertaining, and funny at times. Love the beat down and firing of Caleb
Yeah we had fun doing that. That was my favorite part
SRK Motors, where everybody is fired, every day lmao. Dudes that was one crazy drive
I fire most members of my family daily so I can relate.
@@Gkitchens1 nzik
the nervous laughter as he almost dies is my favourite part
I like your story of your journey . History is so important
One thing I would recommend for you is a visor that allows the use of a pinlock visor insert, they do a brilliant job of keeping the visor fog free so you can keep it closed in that sort of weather.
Jesus Christ man!!! I'm sooooo glad that I live in biker's paradise!
Cool video bro!
Try dealerships in Delaware we are not a super long drive for some bikes
Good thinking
Driving back from Bristol, TN a few years ago, I saw someone driving one of these in hard rain like that.
Two of my brothers and I bought brand new 1982 Kawasaki 305CSRs in 1984. They were our only transportation rain or shine. I put 15,000 miles on mine in the first year. We were taking them to the dealer every 2 months for an oil change. The worst trip was riding back to school one Sunday night in the rain, worse than riding in sub-zero in the winter. It was raining so hard the light from the headlight didn't reach the road. I finally had to pull over on the interstate and just wait for the rain to stop. The normally hour and a half trip took over three hours and I didn't get to my dorm until midnight.
You need your own TV show - The Day in The Life of Sean. I'd watch. Hahaha!
I like it a lot...(in Jim Carreys voice from Dumb and Dumber).
You are a trooper for that run. I work for United Rentals in California. I noticed the service truck out front.
Ok cool
hey im real close to philly!!! i live in NJ but its cool to see videos from someone so close
Dude it's Recaro seats not Recardo
Dean Beler what would you expect from hipster wannabes
It's recardo you just haven't heard of it yet 🤓
@@isaactaylor1833 shut up you moron
I would sit in those Ricardos any day!!
no, dude he has the limited edition ricky recardo seats from mexico.
I work at a dealership that sells a ton of slingshots. The reason they qualify as a motorcycle is not because of the three wheels but because there is a weight restriction for can be legally called a motorcycle. So by trimming it of air bags and excessive body panels they can make weight and be classified as a motorcycle.
Seems like a death trap hahaha
@@rustypotatos they are. Lol jk... They have a Chevy cobalt engine and transmission. Because they're so light they have some zip. I don't personally like the look and there's at least two other companies I can think of that make a better three wheel car. Cleaner looks, classier style.
Great job JR, you made me proud!
I watch this entire video and I swear it felt like I was laughing 20 minutes of the video. Super hilarious
I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I saw a trailer hitch on it. If you haul a trailer with one of these, you're doing it wrong... 😂
Unless that trailer has dirt bikes or a jet ski on it.
I love the fact that all of your staff along with you are Christians. Praise the Lord!
You did it.... Beard grown, keep up the great entertainment. I look forward to Friday night primeres. Also thanks for the Valkyrie videos on the SRK Cycles channels it really helped me find my new bike. You guys were right they are amazing bikes. Can't wait to get some bikes and beards gear.
Awesome thanks Robert glad we could help and entertain and thanks for supporting us by buying some of our merchandise
Forgot to mention Team Sheetz all the way.
That is one neat slingshot!
come across ya about 2 weeks ago love the videos really fun to watch been watching the older ones catching up big fan bryan from phoenix
Thanks Bryan glad to have you
You should run 5xs more the "Beard Tips/Cycle Facts" per video..
I rode 10 hours on and around the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC in the lower 50s in November. It started raining 5 miles into my ride and nevet quit and at times it poured wearing nothing but my leathers. They were soaked but my clothing stayed dry. One of the best rides I ever had and I was in my early fifties.
The sun coming out after you got there 😳😂🤣
God sense of humor is always awesome 🤩 😂😂😂
you need an electric nad heater to drive that thing in this weather...
Yeah I do
Wet electricity shouldn't go anywhere near your nads.
Personally I agree xD
But tell that to the sex toy industry.
"I don't have any extra pants" 5 minutes later has different pants on lol
Holy moly, I just seen that your dealership isn’t all that far from where I live. I’m coming to see you guys next time my wife wants to go shopping up that way.
Btw this is my second time watching your videos. First one was the OCC bike review. Subscribed 👍🏼
I have a Harley Trike and I ride mine in all weather, snow and rain. I put-on all-season tires on mine. Because mine did the same thing. After putting on all season tires never had that problem since.
Glad to see that you give thanks in all things to Jesus Christ! Amen! I'm proud of ya'all, wish I lived in the States, would've bought a bike from you every spring! Greetings from Norway!
Norway thank you for watching. We could ship to you
They sometimes live on a wing and a prayer....other times they just living on prayers and duct tape.....
FWIW, Rain-X killed my visor. They sell a version that's safe with plastic.
I’m glad you put that comment up because I was thinking I could put rain X on there because I can’t find the plastic rain X
Luv your videos 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻you guys enjoy your work 💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻👍🏻an it shows 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
THIS IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER FROM ME!!! and even funnier, I bout my car from near you, in Lancaster!!! id love to come see some of your collection?!
I crashed my Slingshot in the same weather at 60MPH head on into a tree and totaled it... not a good idea. This video gives me anxiety watching it. I definitely feel your scare! Will get a new slingshot again though! Definitely worth every penny.
Why ?
Recardo seats hahaha

Presumably, one day you would like People to consider you Professionals, in which case always remember that “Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance”.
Jumpbox.
Toolkit.
Warm spare clothing.
Isn't all planning prior?
Yes someone posted Sean post us the specs on slingshot how many cylinders aircooled or liquid cooled , how big is the tank , how many gears ⚙️, how much horsepower or CC , it’s classed as a motorcycle?
🤣😂🤣😂 the funniest thing I seen in awhile. Awesome content
Even with traction control Slings are dangerous AF in the rain. A friend hydroplaned head on into a car with his brand new Slingshot back in September. He's lucky to be alive. My dad also owns a Sling. Dude if it's raining and you have a choice, do not drive these vehicles in the rain!!
Yeah they are sketchy in rain just too light in the wrong places
And it takes little pressure on the gas pedal to spin that back tire even in dry conditions
How about upgrading the rear tires?
The water is coming from the rain
Ohhhhhh the rain! That’s where it’s coming from. Lol
ending was priceless
never fails
Just subscribed love the videos lol

What was the name of that Indian Polaris dealer? They seemed really rude; not to mention the "promised to never service another SRK Cycles motorcycle again" seems like if that is the case they certainly don't need anyone elses business either.
Was thinking the same thing. I was also thinking that the people here hating on Christians can get bent.

I was about to say: and harrison quit that same that. And you did put that joke in there. Awesome.
To think that Polaris stopped Victory but it's still making this contraption 😡

I'm amazed the Sena 20s didn't get ruined too...they originally claimed they were "water-resistant" but a friend of mine and also myself have had one ruined in light rain after not even 30 minutes. I just take it off and put it in my pocket now out of precaution
